I liked this story, but I wasn't amazed.
It was reasonably written, but I've read better books by Mia Ford. But overall it was enjoyable.

Creative, compelling and oh, soooooo romantic! Another block-buster MUST-BUY!
OH, MY FREAKING WORD! Mia Ford’s newest offering is AMAZING! It starts out like the typical office romance, except it isn’t. Brock, the hero of “BURNING WITH LUST” is a man looking for stability and skill in the new assistant he wants to hire, but when he meets the last applicant, Jodi, he realizes he may have found more than a competent assistant. What happens next is whirlwind, wonderful and STEAMILY sensuous, and for this reader, it seemed to be a story told. What I was forgetting, is that “BURNING WITH LUST” is a Mia Ford novel, and with Mia Ford, a story is not over until she says it’s over! To say there are some unexpected twists and turns within the pages of “BURNING WITH LUST,” would be an understatement! Then author Ford added a bit of suspense. Just a bit at a time until this reader was turning pages at lightning speed just to see what would happen! I read “BURNING WITH LUST” in one sitting because I could not put it down. So, the laundry will be done tomorrow, and pizza will be ordered for dinner tonight. As a result, when I lay my head down on a pillow tonight, I will do so with a smile. I volunteered to read an ARC copy of “BURNING WITH LUST” because I like the creative stories from the mind of author Mia Ford. Her smooth, descriptive prose allows me to focus on her rich character-centered plots which are both complex and compelling. NO formula writing by this author! Every story is different, every character as richly developed as needed, and once consumed, every story is a favorite – until the next novel is released. If you’ve never read one of Mia Ford’s novels or novellas, then start with “BURNING WITH LUST” and you’ll be hooked! This is my honest opinion: “BURNING WITH LUST” has earned a 5++STAR recommendation! Get your copy of “BURNING WITH LUST” today, you’ll be so glad you did. Happy pages! 😉

Ok, so props for no virgins and playboy billionaires. Brock is wealthy, but he's not a player. I'm getting tired of reading about players and how proud they are of that label. Brock and Jodi hit it off on her job interview-they enjoy each others company but yeah, lots of lust going on, although they were professional and personable on the job interview. Nothing untoward happens at the interview, but they left impressions on each other! And this lust leads to love and a connection neither has felt before. Their friends Millie and Josh are good secondary characters and the book as a whole was very enjoyable. I loved watching the evolution of their relationship, but you know the other shoe is going to drop and watching it drop you're saying to your Kindle -don't be an idiot! Just cool off and talk!! But does the idiot listen? Of course not. So both our H and h are miserable for a few months because of our Hero's pride. Thank God for Millie. Jodi tried getting in touch via phone, but I'm thinking she could've tried harder. But He was so entrenched I'm not sure anything she did would have worked. But Millie-you go girl! She told him how wrong he's got the situation and there is a lot more he needs to know. So Millie plays cupid and gets rewarded for it.
I enjoyed this and even though I had to read it on a deadline, I didn't have to force myself read it. I wanted to read it and looked forward to getting back to it when I had to put it down. Big difference!

Brock Stanton is a self made man, very successful and work orientated. He's been married before, and she cheated - didn't end well. He needs to hire a new PA, in walk Jodie Night, she is perfect for the job, very smart and flirty - he like that, she's easy on the eyes, with legs that go on forever, She gets the job. They work together, sparks fly and of course take off and a very hot relationship. Things move along at a time warp speed, Jodie meets Brocks mom, they are in love.
Jodie doesn't share her previous personal life off the bat, but does begin to; out of the blue a previous boyfriend shows up and blackmails her for money - he roughs her up a bit and Brock takes this the wrong way and she is cheating on him. He cuts her off, not letting her explain what happens, fires her from her job and cuts all ties and communication. Jodie finds herself pregnant, her friend Millie helps out. Over time with some help, Brock finds out and begins to woo her back. They get back together at first thought they could have a friendship for the baby, but they know the pull is to strong and the love is most definitely still there.
Mia tells this fiery hot love story with such depth and emotion, I was mad when Brock cut Jodie off with not even hearing any explanation - but Ioved when he went to find her and she ripped him a new one.
Up and down roller coaster ride, bring on book 2.

Prepare to get burned!

Burning with Lust is another great read by Mia Ford that you won't want to put down. The very successful Brock Stanton has had his heart broken before by a cheating ex-wife and he's not looking for love, which is the perfect time to find it. When the sensational Jodi Night comes in to interview for his assistant position, the attraction is instantly apparent for them both, but each tries to resist for as long as possible. Jodi has a troubled past that she had to run away from leading her to her new home in Las Vegas, but she's convinced that trouble follows her everywhere she goes regardless, so when her past threatens to take over her present she foolishly attempts to take it on herself as she always has. But when Brock misreads the situation, heavily influenced by his ex-wife's actions, an impossible situation splits them apart. But what if it's not only about them anymore? Can Brock fess up to his mistakes or will he continue to punish Jodi for his ex-wife's wandering eyes? And can Jodi forgive his brash actions? You'll just have to read about their steamy journey for yourself. I highly recommend you take the plunge.

A great read by Mia Ford

Brock Stanton is a pushing 30ish billionaire who owns a casino in Las Vegas,,,, his P.A. went on maternity leave and decided to be a stay at home mommy leaving Mr. Stanton in a bind with lots to do and no P.A. to help him,,,, he was married once but then divorced her after she cheated on him with some richer older guy,,,, but that's ok,,,, he has his casino, with a good manager, Josh behind him,,, now all he needs is help,,,, and then she walks thru the door,,,,

Jodi Knight is a 25 year old pale woman with ash brown hair and green eyes who just moved to Las Vegas like a year ago,,,, she comes from New York where she worked in the stock market with all the men and she kicked butt, but then she had to get away from a guy she went out with once who kept stalking her,,,, she has also worked a blackjack table and has done some modeling so she is up for any challenge, even being Brock Stanton's P.A.,,,,, it's so easy working for him and the sparks fly between the both of them,,,

Brock, casino owner and handsome alpha hunk with oodles of charm, has had his heart bruised in the past and so avoids commitment to any woman. But then curvy, feisty Jodi saunters into his casino and he just can't stop himself from offering her a job and getting to know her. She makes it so easy as she's both gorgeous on the inside and the outside. But then Brock panics and leaves without a word. Why would he do this? Will Jodi be broken hearted? Will she ever want to see him again especially as he left a part of himself with her? Mia Fords really knows how to draw you into her storylines and keep you there, sitting on the edge of the seat, as you devour the romantic journey of Brock and Jodi. These two are so great together with chemistry off the charts and I love 'hearing' how they feel about what's going on. With witty banter, hot searing steamy looks and passion between the sheets that seemed as if my kindle might start spontaneously combust! A great fun read by Mia that perfectly illustrates why she is a USA best selling author. I'm looking forward to her next book. Ms. Mia Ford has a truly beautiful gift with storylines. Have you ever read her work? Have you ever had the pleasure of being drawn in by her? Burning With Lust is a wonderfully written book with extremely well crafted characters to entertain you from the very beginning all the way through to their happily ever after. Brock, Jodi, Millie and Josh are key characters in this captivating tale. Brock has had a rough go in the past and in putting his failed marriage behind him, he has sworn off relationships and is now a workaholic in need of an assistant. This brings us to Jodi, she left NYC to begin again in Vegas to escape from a former stalker/co-worker. Having run from him with no plan leads her to apply for an assistant job with Brock. As these two circle their feelings and begin a relationship; Jodi's past comes back (and it is not who you think). Absolutely incredible book.

I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Burning With Lust in exchange for my honest and voluntarily given opinion and I highly recommend this book as well as anything written by Ms. Ford. Can not wait for next release in the Series.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Another great read by Mia Ford. I really liked Brock and Jodi. Brock has been burned before and has sworn of women, right now his main focus is finding an assistant that can work closely with him at his casino. Jodi, starting her life over due to a stalker, she’s in need of a job and thinks she just might be the right person for Brock. The only thing is she’s sexy, deliciously desirable and could be the end of him. Brock is clearly attracted to her and it should be all kinds of wrong, but he hires her on the spot. The attraction is two ways here, the spark is undeniable, the flirtatious way they are with each other, the banter is awesome, and I can’t believe how Jodi is a take charge kind of woman. They each have secrets of their own, will they feel comfortable enough with each other to open up and start sharing or will the truth destroy them? No spoilers here, loved it, it’s a must read and excited for the next book in the series.

Burning with Lust grabbed me right away with how quickly the author, Mia Ford brought our two protagonists, Jodi and Brock together. Mia had Brock frustrated because he couldn't find the right PA. Finally in comes Jodi. Formerly from Wall St of NYC, she certainly made an impression on Brock so he hired her on the spot.
Jodi continued to make an impression on Brock by flirting with him and wearing provocative clothing. It wasn't too long while in his office they crossed that boss employee line and was happy about it...for awhile.
Unfortunately, both have a past that influences their present lives. Jodi more so then Brock but one night they both come clashing down on them. The resolution? Let's just say it's not a healthy one.
Can they get back on track? Who will reach out? Will friends step in for an intervention? This book is a must read to find out all the juicy parts. ;)
Highly recommending this book for your reading pleasure and enjoyment. I am volunteering to leave a review of this ARC book.

Brock very successful businessman who is interviewing for a new PA, the last person to come in catches more than his eye. Jodi has moved from New York to try and start a new life and moves in with her best friend. Unfortunately she finds another boyfriend who turns out to be the same as the one she left behind. Her roommate keeps telling her that Lucas is just using her but Jodi feels sorry for him and wants to help.
Jodi and Brock cant keep away from each other and they soon begin dating, once Lucas finds out he threatens Jodi once more and wants even more money, Brock witnesses what he thinks is a kiss between them and wont listen to Jodi's explanation and tells her to stay right out of his life.
Once he finds out the truth can he really forgive her and take her back or can she forgive him for the way he treated her.

This is a second chance love story between Brock a successful casino owner and Jodi a younger woman looking for work after some bad luck. Brock is in need of a new assistant and once he meets Jodi he is drawn to her sassy remarks and how she flirts just a bit during the interview. They have an instant connection and they both fight it until one day they can’t and Brock finds himself involved with a woman even after his past relationship. These two have the beginnings of a chance at love but with Jodi keeping secrets and not able to to reveal all her past does Brock see a misunderstanding and walks away from Jodi and never listens to her side of things. Jodi is left without a job, finding it hard to make ends and is pregnant. She’s trying to do it all on her own but how will it all end? I look forward to the next story in this series. When Jodi walked in to interview for brock's PA position he knew she was it in more ways than one. Brock usually doesn't mess with employees but he can't seem to keep from flirting and wanting Jodi. Jodi relocated to Vegas after a bad relationship so she could have a fresh start. Things started getting heated with her new boss on her second day. When they finally gave into temptation they barely learned anything about each other. They did everything backwards and because of the delay in getting to know one another all it took was one misunderstanding to split them apart? Will Jodi be able to convince Brock to let her explain? Can Brock make everything up to Jodi?

This is a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Who wouldn’t like a chance to start over in a new place? This is what Jodi decides to do by leaving NYC after being stalked and threatened by a coworker. When she moves to Las Vegas, her life seems to be looking up as she manages to snag a job as a personal assistant to Brock a gorgeous owner of a casino. However, Brock has been burned before and even though the chemistry between him and his new assistant is off the charts, can he open himself up again? It doesn’t help when a man from Jodi’s past comes calling to ask for her help and Brock jumps to all the wrong conclusions. When Brock kicks Jodi to the curb and she finds herself in a challenging position, will she be able to let Brock back into her life or will she elect to walk away? Ms. Ford has crafted another whimsical storyline with relatable characters that leave the reader wanting more.

I loved this quick read by Mia Ford. I couldn’t put it down! Jodi’s a sassy, strong, independent woman with a big heart. She left New York and cane to Las Vegas to start over from the craziness her life had become. Brock is a successful, alpha male running a successful business in desperate need of an assistant. When Jodi and Brock meet for her interview, they both have intense feelings for each other. They fight their feelings but end up becoming consumed by what was supposed to be a fun fling. Her kind heart and his constant fear of the past causes a very big miscommunication and almost ruins their chances of a happy ending. They find their way back to each other and discover a greater love than they had felt before.

Jodi and Brock have an instant connection when they first meet. Not intimidated by Brock, Jodi’s snarky and sassy personality shows through as she is interviewed for the position of his assistant. I liked the quick and quirky dialogue between them, and the POVs that show what they are really thinking. The author did a good job with the pacing in this contemporary “office romance”with Las Vegas as the glamorous backdrop.
Jodi has a lot of secrets stemming from her choice of men. Her exes are pretty awful, and Jodi, who started out as being such a strong female lead, ends up being manipulated by her ex, Lucas again and again.

I loved her best friend Millie, who sticks by her and eventually helps by showing Brock what a fool he’s been with Jodi.

This was a good book by Mia Ford!! Like the title said, Burning With Lust!!! It’s was true to the storyline!! Brock and Jodi couldn’t keep there flirtation teasing and hands off each other!! Lol! They both was a little annoying at times with there stubbornness and alway overthinking things!! The only thing I didn’t care to much about in the book was some of Jodi traits or lack thereof!! I wish she had more of a back bone and not be so naive when it came to Lucus!!!! Because that was crazy how she allowed herself to be blinded by his mess and lies!!! But, anyway this was a good book to read!! I enjoyed Jodi and Brock chemistry!! I think Millie and Josh characters was a great assets to the book as well!!! Definitely give this book a try!!! You wont be disappointed!!!

ONE FLAMING HOT READ!!!
Whoa baby! Talk about holy hotness. This is one exciting, action packed, heart pounding, pulse racing, fast paced, page turning tale that captures your attention until the last word. All the twists and turns, ins and outs, ups and downs, along with a few unexpected surprises that really rock your world. The drama, mystery, heartache and suspense builds throughout the entirety and tension runs rampant. The characters are written with such realism it really pulls this bad boy together beautifully. They're so believable and relatable you feel everything the characters feel. Be it heartache, agony, love and lust to name a few. The scenes are so vividly descriptive it's easy to picture each scenario as they play off one another perfectly. Mia did a magnificent job bringing this read to life gloriously. Amazing job Mia, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Jodi Night and Brock Stanton. Brock is a man who is constantly on the go. What he needs is a personal assistant. What he finds is a woman who knocks him off his socks. Jodi is a woman who knows how to give as good as she can get. Both of them know there is more than meets the eye to the other but they need to keep it professional. What happens though when things go farther than either planned? Can they find their HEA or will the hurt from the past be more than they can overcome?

This is an amazing story. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will tell you this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Brock has already been burned by love and the woman who was supposed to be his equal and it made him not want to commit to a relationship but most importantly it completely and utterly put him off to finding love again. Until the day he meet Jodi. Sweet, beautiful, mysterious Jodi and Brock can’t really help himself when their chemistry is through the roof and the fireworks between them are going up nonstop. Brock couldn’t and didn’t want to get sucked in by her, but Jodi’s mystery was an alluring factor for Brock, but theirs more to Jodi than she’s letting on and when their office fling takes a different turn Jodi does everything she can to keep Brock out of a nightmare.

I’m a big fan of Mia Ford’s and her stories and this is the best one of hers that I’ve read by far and this is book 1 to The Vegas Men series and I can’t wait to see what she brings next. Brock owns a casino and he needs an assistant and when Jodie walks in for a Interview all bets are off and he wants to make her his, but Jodie has a secret and when Brock finds out what it is he leaves her. Jodie is left broken hearted with no job and now finding out that she is pregnant is only making things that much harder. I loved this story and I cried quite a few tears it was a very emotional story but I loved every page of it. A fantastic story a 5 plus +++++ ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

I have read several books by Mia Ford and this latest one did not disappoint! Burning with Lust was the perfect title for this book. Brock hires Jodi as his new assistant. He owns a casino in Vegas. Thanks to his cheating ex-wife, Brock has sworn off relationships. But he is blown away by Jodi. She is very attracted to her new boss but she has her own past that is holding her back. She moved to Vegas to get away from a dangerous stalker. Both try to resist but it becomes impossible to deny their attraction. But what happens when Jodi's past and Brock's insecurities threatens to tear them apart? And can Jodi forgive Brock assumes the worst and ends their relationship and ends all communication? Definitely recommend.

A great romantic well written and well paced wonderful steamy romance story with just enough drama. Jodi landing in Vegas interviewing for a job on her new start from a bad past. Brock is a casino owner in Vegas looking for a PA. They try to deny the hot connection and intense chemistry until they can't. Jodi kept secrets which broke them apart from their quickly moving romance. Brock misunderstood what the another man from her past was about when he starts causing problems. He misread the situation and wouldn''t talk to her leaving her without a job and soon finding out she was pregnant. An amazing story as you follow along to see if the can get to their HEA.

Start Mia Ford’s new series .. with Book One “Burning With Lust”and find out. Definitely a hot n bothered read...MUCH enjoyed and Highly Recommended.

Jodi and Brock are such intense characters. Their story dives right in, it's fast paced, and an emotional roller coaster. Once I picked this up I couldn't put it down. The chemistry is perfect with the right amount of angst and turmoil. The story line is not dragged out or overly done, it just has a perfect balance that keeps it going fluidly. Though, I especially loved how in the end it all comes together. Also, the secondary characters also have a significant role which would perfectly set them up to, hopefully, be the basis for the subsequent books in this series.

I love Mia Ford books, but I have to admit the last couple had left me wondering if she was really writing her own stories anymore or just having a ghost writer write them from story ideas or basic outlines. They didn't read like her and frankly were disappointing. I am happy to say this is a much better story and feels a lot more like Mia Ford than the past few have felt! I really enjoyed the banter of Brock and Jodi. I became invested in these characters and cared about the outcome. This was a fun and exciting beginning to a new series. I can't wait for the next one.

This is a cute story; however, don't get discourage at the beginning, as it starts off very typical but it gets better once you keep reading. Brock is a successful business man who owns his own casino and hires Jodi as his assistant. There is an attraction between the both, but both have a past that they are not fond of. Regardless they give it a go and it blossom until the past catches up. This book is different from Mia's previous book of One More Time, but overall she always knows how to capture you at the end.
