Great book to learn the basics of sewing. I’ll keep this one as part of my reference library.

Focused on sewing clothes, this is an excellent source if you are a novice to sewing. It gives information about machines, tools, and choosing and reading patterns. There are quite a few tables in the book that are easy to read.

Lots of great big color photographs in this book, and good basic instructions. Not as much material covered in some other home sewing books.

The first book of the Singer Reference Library I've ever read. An excellent book to get from the library, but not one that you should buy for your own reference library.
