Oh how I loved this book , from the characters who are well developed and well written to the story that flows at a good pace keeping your interest firmly on the pages in front of you . This book ticked every single box for me .

Well damn, this book started off with a bang, literally. When Cole sets eyes on Rylee in the hottest club in the area, there's no doubt in his mind, he needs her. What he didn't expect upon approaching her was to be lead to a storage closet for a quick fuck, or for her to leave right after without bothering to exchange names. While Rylee tries her hardest to avoid Cole after their encounter, it doesn't help when they keep ending up at the same places together.
Cole is a hot, ex MMA Champion who has successfully opened up a MMA gym with his three, equally as hot best friends. He wants Rylee, and the sooner she realizes she wants him too, the better. Rylee is a gorgeous owner of said club that she fucked Cole in with some serious commitment issues. Having never been in a relationship previously, she can't help but keep denying she wants more with Cole. While Cole falls fast and hard for Rylee, slowly but surely, she falls for him too. There two together are everything.
I loved the sass that came out of Rylee's mouth and how Cole didn't give up on her until she was his. This was a fast paced read and I enjoyed every single minute of it. It had all the ingredients to a great romance. I can't wait to read the next book to this series.

This is a exciting story of a three time MMA champ and the one woman that makes his blood boil and he wants her to be his.When Cole and his friends from his MMA training center go to a club to blow off steam.The women are throwing themselves at him and his friends but he's really not in the mood.When he sees the Beautiful woman behind the bar he knows she's something special..When their eyes meet and he's gone .He makes the way to the bar he asks when she gets off work she says now.She takes his hand an leads him to the supply closet an they almost tear each other's clothes off.They have the best sex in their lives.He asks her name and she won't tell him .When they are done she tells him it was great but she's a once an done.But Cole isn't ready to let things end that way and he's planning on how to make her his.When her friend Dani comes to the office an asks if she's seen the hot guys at a table in her club she knows she's talking about the table with Cole and his friends even though she said she's a once an done she's getting a little jealous until Camo tells him that the guy she's wanting is a blond.This book has not hunks that are great fighters and beautiful women that find love they weren't looking for. The twists and turns to this story will keep you riveted until the very last page and leave you begging for more.I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.

Excellent characters with temper
Beautiful romance, in a context that might seem a little difficult, of a former military champion of combat sport who is finally almost a chamallow face to a woman who is very hard on herself (and what she gives herself as right to love = nothing.)
The characters are very powerful, very well described, with quite a temper, and all the work of the hero is to dismantle the bricks of the wall that the heroine has erected around her. The descriptions are as hot as they are tender.
I really liked this author that I didn't know and I really want to read the rest of this series.
Rylee is the owner of a bar. She has a one night stand with someone she never thinks to see again, but in the parking lot she is assaulted with her friend, and the next day they decide to take self defense classes. She discovers that her stranger is actually Cole, the co-owner of the high-level combat training room they are visiting. Cole knows very clearly what he wants (and it's Rylee), and Rylee knows very clearly what she does not want, that is, a relationship. Cole must therefore both remain the tough guy it seems, while insinuating himself into the life of Rylee.
The secondary characters are pretty good too.

Rylee owns The Dark Room, the number one nightclub in Denver. To her it is all about her girls and her club. She doesn't do commitment or go back for seconds with guys, she just has a good time by screwing whoever she likes in her supply closet and ditching them. Cole owns Rebels Advocate along with his three best friends and they train serious fighters for the MMA. You'll also get to hear a bit about Charli and Xander's lives which is a couple we were first introduced to in the Kings of Denver series book three. Cole is a bit of a playboy himself and when he sees Rylee behind the bar he knows he wants her. After a hot and sexy encounter in the supply closet, Cole wants more and Rylee is running for the hills. She is totally afraid of commitment and Cole scares her to desth, I mean she won't even kiss on the lips with a guy...lol. I have read Xander, the book that ties the characters in the Rebel’s Advocate books and the previous Kings of Denver series, and honestly, I had thought about what Xander’s life was outside of the hockey rink and these books finally give me the chance. Cole is Xander’s MMA trainer at his Rebel’s advocate gym and was MMA Champion himself. He hasn’t settled down yet, but then again, he hasn’t found the right girl yet either. Rylee owns and runs one of the hottest clubs in the area and has never really been a woman for just one man. She would find herself a man for the night, when she needed an itch scratched and then she’d move on. Cole falls fast for Rylee, she falls too, but is a lot less willing to admit the fact. Rylee is afraid of getting her heart broken. Can Cole convince her that he won’t break her heart? Can Rylee finally trust someone enough to let them in for more that a one-night stand? I really enjoy the romances from Sheridan Anne; the characters are loveable and even though the book is based around the world of Mixed Martial Arts, that only plays a small role in the love story of Rylee and Cole

Rylee is the commitment-phobe in this sweet contemporary MMA romance. Cole is used to women falling at his feet, and he never goes after women. He thought Rylee was playing games when she refused to be one of his hookup “call” girls. Interested in just one furious steamy session in the supply closet of her bar, Rylee knows that relationships are not in her future.
It takes a bit of back and forth encounters before they really start to connect and admit to themselves that this thing they have is something special. I liked that the author kept them true to each other during this time as their MO was to hook up often with random partners. Nice to see some emotional growth in this couple who couldn’t keep their hands to themselves with each other, and stopped activities with outside their relationship.

Rylee has issues though, she refuses to give her heart to anyone but Cole is a man on a mission, he refuses to let her go. Will Cole be able to knock down Rylee's walls and will Rylee finally open her heart? This is an amazing book. I do suggest though if you haven't already had a chance to read the Kings of Denver series to read that first, especially Xander, as he makes a big appearance in this book. Grab a glass of wine....or the bottle, and settle in for the ride of your life with Cole.

An amazing light, funny and very steamy read about an MMA fighter who owns a club with his 3 friends. On a night out at the darkest room club, Cole spots Rylee behind the bar. They have a supply closet encounter... But she won't give him her name or number. Rylee is a tough ass girl but her parents divorce has left her shying away from all emotional entanglements. Cole has his work cut out for him. I loved the camaraderie between Cole and his friends, which will be featured in other books. Great read.

Cole and Rylee’s story has the right amount of drama, action, and hot sex. The story is not eclipsed by their attraction. There is character development even for some of the supporting characters in the book. The plot flowed smoothly from one conflict to the next and the conflicts are not forced or stupid. I really liked reading this book. It was hard to put down. Cost me some sleep. [I received an advanced copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.]

This is the first book I've read by this author and it won't be the last. I absolutely loved this book. It is wellwritten and fastpaced with a great storyline and filled with a lot of wonderful characters. I loved the chemistry between Rylee and Cole. I can't wait to see what else the Rebels Advocates can do because book 1 was on fire. I thought I'd have to call 911 after reading Rylee and Cole story.

Great start to this series. It is well written, interesting, fast paced and a hot read. The storyline and characters were wonderful. The side characters added greatly to the story. I hope the series continues with their stories. Rylee and Cole are entertaining, Rylee is a total comment afobe and Cole is strong and determined. This was a smooth read and well worth the read. I have really enjoyed reading this book, the author did such a great job developing the characters, that I feel like I really know them, and not just the major two characters, but the minor ones too.
Also, it caused me to lose quite a bit of sleep while I was reading it, because it was so hard to put down at night.

I absolutely loved this book. It is well written with a great storyline and filled with wonderful characters. I loved the chemistry between Rylee and Cole and how the story line is flipped from the typlical guy doing the one night stand and not going back for seconds, to the woman being that way. They're both stubborn and its just a matter of who's gonna win. The author did a marvelous job with the characters and the plot, also the secondary characters are really good.
