Women today are more stressed out, burned out, and defeated than ever before. The more they seek to better themselves, the farther they fall toward despair. The key according to Tammy Maltby is to become less self-centered and more other-centered. Tammy encourages the reader to be the one who gives life to others! In Lifegiving, she provides sound biblical teaching on what it means to be a lifegiver and how this flows out of a rich inner relationship with God.
I thank God I got this book when I did. Of all the books I have, this is my favorite! The gentleness with which the author crafted every page to portray the world of the life-giver is phenomenal. If you read this book, I can assure you of one thing, you will aspire to be more and do more without a sense of guilt. Lifegiving is a powerful book that emphasizes who you are in Christ and how to tap into, and unleash the reservoir of love within you as a woman, to be a blessing to everyone you come across... at home and abroad! I give it five star :)
The first time I ever heard the phrase “life-giver” Was when I heard Tammy use it.
Tammy encourages the reader to be less self-centered and to be more Other- centered.
Having a rich personal relationship with God allows us to to give life to others! In Lifegiving, Tammy defines the use of this term.
This book...lifegiving..... reminded me how Erma Bombeck would say we don’t have to save the good candles or china etc for that special Guest or occasion because if waiting for that - they may go unused. We should make the most of every day Our good Lord gives us.
