I was at a book sale at the White Rock Museum scanning spines. This book caught my eye. Where have I been? I did not know she had died. She was on the radio while I was growing up and she's still there on the radio at my parents' house. It's amazing to me how much legal power spouses have. After her 5 trips to the altar, i add an exclamation point to a question I've asked for years -- Why marry?!

Good book that was hard to put down. Wynette's daughter Jackie recalls the life and times of her mother Tammy Wynette. The ups and downs and the mysterious circumstances surrounding her sudden death. Definitely does not paint a pretty picture of Tammy's current husband George Richey!

Absolutely loved this book!! So interesting and heartbreaking all at the same time. I did not know much about her except for her music before I read this.
