The Dreaming has a new master.

As its rightful steward, Lucien, wrestles with the slow decay of his mind, the realm of wonders slips into totalitarianism beneath the thunderous gavel of Judge Ezekiel Gallows.

But as the gates are fortified and the citizens terrorized by a foul new form of execution, something far greater and more terrifying slouches toward the Dreaming to be born.

i just love the art in this series, also feeling sorry for lucien. as he was always the sound of reason in the absence of dream, but now he's not like he used to be!

The best issue of the series so far... the art is top notch, very very psychedelic and trippy and so is the story.. the plot goes forward, there’s a few lines of the script which I’ll cherish for a very long time (the LUXURY of DISSENT, goldarnit). I’m glad I stuck with this series after the first two so-and-so issues. It’s gold now.

This is the first issue that really grabbed me. I'm finally starting to get invested in the story.

Escape

Judge Gallows's grasp on the dream realm grows tighter as Lucien and Matthew attempt an escape.

Fun but quick read.

Puh, the politics stuff really felt like a close shave. What I always liked about these comics was that it was really not black and white and the motivations of things played a big role. I thing this series will surprise us with the next issues
