Determined to find a murderer, Abigail Collins must go deep undercover, cut off from all resources and communication the Paranormal Investigation Bureau provides. Under the guise of visiting an old friend, Abby must discover who is killing people and how they are tied to a local werewolf pack. With Simon by her side, enemies old and new appear, and Abigail must make a choice. In the witchy world, not everything is black or white, and sometimes life needs a bit of gray.
A.L. Kessler is an author of paranormal and urban fantasy books and is best known for her “Here Witchy Witchy” series. A self-proclaimed coffee addict, she resides in Colorado Springs with her family and menagerie of animals. When she’s not writing her next book, she loves to read and visit with friends and family.
Just finished book 7. I love the writing style, Abby, our main character is believable. I admire strong characters and she is that. The supporting cast i either love or dislike. A.L.Kessler leads you in a trip, jump in...go with us!
This series really does get better and better. Abby burns through allies and enemies like no business and we the readres are truly kept on our toes wondering who is up to what, are foes really allies and vice versa? Plots lie within plots and the secrets are plenty. All the more reason to keep reading. What I also like is that whilst the over reaching story arcs persist we are never left with a totally unfinished case, just the clues to the next. Abby's magic is strong but she faces up to ever increasingly stronger foes and her magic, sanity and health are all at very real risk. A fast paced story that kept me hooked to my kindle and on the edge of my seat. I highly recommend these books.
Outstanding read, Rachel Morgan scoot over Abby Collins is on the case!
If you enjoy Kim Harrison’s “The Hollows” series, you will love A.L. Kessler’s books. Abby Collins is a kick ass Special Agent of Paranormal Investigation Bureau that along with her Alpha boyfriend sets out to solve one of the worse Black Magic cases seen in Luna Grove. What are you waiting for? Brew a cup of your favorite and enter the world of Here, Witchy Witchy to be entranced by Abby and team.
I always look forward to another book with Abigail in it and this author never disappoints when it comes to the story, the action or the characters. Abby has her work cut out for her even more than normal this time so you know it’s bad! I loved how some of the characters had her back and she could trust them, loyalty is always a good star for me and they came through. I can’t wait to see what’s next for Abby.
I enjoyed this book. It had enough suspense to keep my attention (even with the typos) I am glad Abigail is with Simon that is one thing from prior books that felt unfinished
wow, an excellent story. Go Abbey. Abbey is, on a leave of absence from the PIB, going undercover and taking on a demon. With Simon by her side, her uncle and Merrick as back up, its up to Abbey to kill a demon. Not everything is black and white, those gray areas are where the answers are. Its just a matter of figuring out who she can trust and who she must leave in the dark.
The characters carried the series all the way through. Great storyline. It was a pleasant surprise not to have all the steamy sex crap so many authors rely on. Sad this was the last book.
Okay, finally s light at the end of a long, dark, terrifying tunnel and some hard-won answers for Abigail, as well as solidification of her circle of comrades.
Abby was indeed teetering on the line separating good from evil. All throughout the author had me wondering when, how and why, Abby would cross. This installment was definitely a page turner.
Another full on storyline with Agent Abigail Collins, no matter what happens she keeps taking a beating but keeps on moving. Interesting development between her and Simon, and her ability to inspire loyalty is no doubt in part due to her willingness to take said beatings and best the bad guys.
Love the storyline and the characters. We are slowly learning more about some other key characters, like the people in the Cult of Ra and some of the other agents Abby works with. I would like to know more about Abby's father who seems fascinating but has not had much of an active role in the series. I like Abby's werewolf boyfriend Simon. But they seem more like friends with benefits. There are no vibes of real passion between them. I am not looking for an erotic romance, I just don't get the feeling they are soul mates. So it will be fun to see where that relationship goes.
I am not able to stop reading this series. The big mystery with the little ones keeps me going. I think this book is the beginning of finding out who created Levi but why is he not king? More to read.
