Weaving tiny glass seed beads into jewelry is an ancient form of jewelry making dating back to early Native Americans and prehistoric African tribes. Today, "seed beading," also known as "bead weaving" is extremely popular. Very helpful and illuminating book on seed beading. The diagrams are great, the stitch discussions excellent. The photography is clear and the text easy to follow. I've been looking for a good earring wire tutorial and was delighted to find one here. The patterns look interesting, if you are the sort who uses other people's patterns.
