I very much enjoy this isekai comedy. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of watching the anime first. Usually, I like reading the novel before watching the movie or TV-show. The good news is that the fourth volume is the last one that was adapted into anime, so the story of the next book will be all new to me.

Now I just have to wait and see if Yen Press decides to release volume five or the Megumin spin-off first. Whichever it is I will defiantly be picking it up.

J’ai un tas de tomes qui traîne dans ma PAL, comme d’habitude je me suis dis qu’il était temps de les lire! Surtout que j’avais beaucoup aimé les trois premiers tomes. Et qu’est ce que ça fait du bien de se replonger dans cet univers. Ce quatrième tome était tout aussi plaisant que les tomes précédents. Cette histoire est tellement drôle que chaque lecture nous fait passer un excellent moment. L’univers, les personnages, l’intrigue, tout est fait pour que le lecture soit vraiment top.

Dans ce quatrième tome, on retrouve Kazuma et ses acolytes qui se sont enfin installés dans leur maison quand une quête très urgente est annoncée: un Destroyer mobile de défense, une arme de type Golem XXL créée dans le but de repousser l’armée du Roi Démon, s’apprête à attaquer Axel! Aqua réussità briser sa barrière de défense! Megumin et Wiz n’ont plus qu’à le détruire avec leur sort d’explosion! C’est le début de la plus grande stratégie de défense de toutes l’histoire afin de protéger leur ville favorite!

Encore une fois, j’ai beaucoup ris pendant ma lecture. Le groupe que Kazuma et les autres forment sont vraiment très drôle! Ce sont des personnages haut en couleurs, c’est un peu par moments un groupe de bras cassés, et c’est ce qui rend la chose plus que drôle au final. Dans ce tome, Kazuma va se retrouver dans une situation plus que délicate. Il se retrouve accusé et risque la peine de mort. Il va donc devoir se défendre sauf que ce n’est vraiment pas gagné pour lui. Les autres veulent l’aider mais en vérité, elles ne font qu’aggraver son cas.. La fin me donne vraiment envie de découvrir la suite. D’ailleurs je vais me jeter directement sur le prochain tome!

J’adore ce manga, ça réunit vraiment tout ce que j’aime. On a une histoire hyper intéressante, pleine de rebondissements, des personnages forts et haut en couleur, un univers plus que chouette. Mais surtout beaucoup d’humour dans toute cette histoire et pour moi c’est ça le point fort de l’histoire, tout cet humour. J’ai plus que hâte de découvrir la suite!

**Konosuba 4: or now it’s starting to get interesting** I was almost getting ready to give up on the series because of rather middling and an interesting directions it was going. But this for you manages to draw stuff together as a giant mechanical spider heads in the town a la wild wild West. The ultimate way that they beat it is interesting but makes me wonder if there will be consequences for their choices. Happily, there are. The book hints at changes for characters that don’t really come to pass but I do like the idea of explosion girl trying to make herself more useful even though it doesn’t pan out. The ending of the book unfairly goes after the main character as a double agent and considering his questionable behavior at points, there is something to be said for the accusations. I was a little annoyed that the book ended this interesting storyline on a cliffhanger but it did do the job of getting me to want to try the next volume. Four objections out of five.

Aqua Ace Defective

Konosuba volume 4 takes the beginning of the second season and 3rd volume of the light novel. It does it’s own thing for the most part. With one chapter being another manga exclusive with megumin being a temporary swordsmen err... women. The art is phenomenal as always and it’s just funny from start to finish whether you’re a gamer of the rpg it takes the foundation from or isekai trash that it makes fun of too. Konosuba has something for everyone.

This was an interesting volume, lots of trouble in it. I love how much of a failure the team is individually but how they are actually successful together. The plot and artwork were good.
I look forward to the next volume, but wish that there was a plot/character summary page at the beginning.
