Kenyon, Asloran Warrior, is just one of the few ships that cyborg boss Ethan has sent on a mission find a planet that is livable. Each ship is tasked with landing on different planets and running test to find the most livable planet for an influential client. When one of the other ships on the mission is not answering any communicates, Kenyon believes that have been they have been abducted. The ship is full of cyborgs that highly value on the slave market. Kenyon makes a deal to deliver a valuable unnamed cargo to an auction house owner for directions to pirates holding his cyborg friends.
Sharian is kidnapped from her home planet Borzan by a group of space pirates. Sharian is able to mate with any other species and is the most wanted on the mating market.
Kenyon is a non-overbearing hero, and Sharian is a strong heroine. There is no OW drama, but there is some OM drama. There only a slight amount of angst between Kenyon and Sharian. They have an instant attraction to each other. They don't really have instalove or at least it is not realized until it is too late. The story is a great way to travel away from the day's worries and fall into the alien romance world

(Review with spoilers - I haven't read the first book in the series)

Galactic romance. I loved it.

Kenyon, an Asloran warrior, rescued Sharian, a woman from Borzan who had been kidnapped to sell her, while on a mission. Her family rejected her, and he promised that he would always take care of her. He didn't expect to fall in love or find his mate.

I loved Kenyon, his sense of honor. He doesn't like that there are slaves, but he knows he can't free them all. He would do anything for his family, although it hurt him to be separated from Sharian, to whom he had been united since they met.

I loved Sharian. She is innocent, she believed that her family would accept her, despite what had happened. Their rejection hurt. She felt close to Kenyon, and it hurt that he didn't feel the same way she did. She believed that he had rejected her. But she would sacrifice herself for him to save his life.

I liked Kurbaz. He is a just man. He does not defend anyone because he is from his people. He defends justice.

I received an ARC from the author, and this is my honest review.

I loved this!

This can be read as a stand-alone with a HEA but after reading this, I need to back and read the first. I am torn between 4 and 5 stars, and have given 5 stars because I think this could be a great series that I need to follow.

Long live the revolution! and what the heck happened to Samantha?

No spoilers here but this is a well written book with characters which you root for, a plot that twists but is not so overloaded that it gets confusing, you just become very intrigued with what happens next. There are a few cheesy moments but they are easy to forgive.

This is a well written series. It is a fun, adventurous, emotional, some twists and turns and so much more. to have something bad happen and then to connect with someone and then all of a sudden he is gone because of something bad again. I recommend it. I received a review copy by booksprout and voluntarily review it.
