A nice coffee table book with some interesting pictures but that is about all I can recommend this book for. I found the writing to be in a style that did not appeal to me, I felt the writing to be choppy and in a grammatical style that I found difficult to read, but that could just be me. At any rate, there is some good history and nice images from history. A good coffee table book but not scholarly.

Nothing like a bit of 'once more into the breach dear friends'. This book is part of the Kings and Queens of England series, which I only rate as a general intro level, or quick reference set.

An Interesting read into the short life of a warrior Prince and King and of the life of those closest to him, the decision and reason why he went into battles and how he won them
