Well, I’m sad and happy because my three-part series has officially come to an end. But baby… the Forest family from 1-800-Killer? I LOVE them down! This series was SO good.
One thing I loved most was how the author made you change your feelings about the characters. You’ll start off not liking somebody, then you learn their story, get to know them, and before you know it… you love them. That’s real character building.
Now Killa? I always loved him. And Shyne? That’s my girl! Every time she starts that humping action, I scream laughing. 😂 And sweet little Sun? Such a sweetheart. That whole family had me crying, laughing, stressed, shocked — all of it.
And listen… I really appreciated how much I learned while reading these books. I honestly didn’t know much about the Muslim faith before this series, but the way the author explained their beliefs, values, structure, protection of family, and devotion gave me such a deeper respect and appreciation. I even caught myself Googling “1-800-Killer” because I was so invested. That’s how good the writing was.
The author did a phenomenal job weaving these stories together. It was a whole journey — roller coaster, Ferris wheel, emotional whiplash… EVERYTHING. And whew, I’ll never look at a zoo the same again. That’s all I’m saying. 😭 And don’t even get me started on them multi-contraptions we got introduced to. Lord have mercy. 😂
Thank you for the free book because trust me… it’s about to go down with this next read too.
What a treat, re-reading one of my favorite series about the first family of Murder. Loved having the entire series in 3 books. The storyline is still relevant if not more so today!! Loved the bad guys getting the just desserts in so many different ways!! Action packed and interesting from page 1 until the end of confessions. Not a better love than Killa and Yolo, despite how they started out!! Shyne is just Shyne!!
All I can say is this author writing is so amazing that he along with the author Kwan and T Styles is the ones where I can along reread their novels more than once their words are like a movie you need to watch again and again
This is differently a page turner, I love me some Killa. It had my attention from the beginning to the end..Good read plus it had me laughing a little as well.
