The opening to this had me utterly hooked, a bride in the back of her wedding car wondering why her driver is going in totally the wrong direction, only to realise the driver is the one man she has ever been foolish enough to love. And now he is back, kidnapping her to save her from a marriage that she is entering into to save her family business.
I loved this whole setup. The heat between Gabe and Maddie sizzles off the pages, and even though he genuinely is rescuing her, Maddie never once comes off as weak. Beautiful, intelligent, creative, passionate, yes, her love for her father driving her into making an unwise decision, but she is always strong, a classic DARE heroine!
And Gabe, well he is hot, successful, caring (not that he'll acknowledge it) and damaged...he could kidnap me any day ;-)

What a hoot for an opening. I loved everything about this story, but the whole “kidnapped in your wedding dress” thing grabbed my immediate attention. This story is sensual, fraught with tension, and passionate. Really passionate. I loved the tug and pull as Gabe and Maddie navigate the issues between them, the outlying plot surrounding her father, everything. It all pulls together in a package I read in a day. I couldn’t put it down.

I loved everything about this book, it's brilliant. Yes, it's hot. Yes, it's steamy. Yes, it's erotic but fabulously written and has a great storyline with believable characters. Opening with a bride kidnapped on the way to her wedding, the pace doesn't stop. Absolute hoot of a read, I couldn't put it down.

It's not often I feel right after reading the back of the book that I won't like it. That was a big deal for me. It took me longer to read the book. I just didn't like the story.

Faye Avalon has hit another home run with Rescue Me. The story sizzles. Add a strong plot with a bit of mystery and strong characters and it’s a winner.
Gabe Harrington and Maddie Mallory have history and she doesn’t trust him. But when he rescues her, wedding dress and all, from a marriage contrived to save the family business she can’t deny her attraction to the gorgeous alpha male.
Gabe’s private jet whisks them away from the wedding to Monaco where he convinces Maddie to give him a week to sort through the tangled web of her family business. She’s been here before and lost precious stock in Mallory Hotels to Gabe.
Maddie insists she can protect the family business on her own, but with Gabe so close she gives in. All the way in. One week of sensual bliss then she will pick up the reins and do it her way.
The story has a strong ending. The kind I like.
