Dutch VanEss is conflicted. Having traded the frozen city of Chicago for the paradise island of St. Martin, he is prevented from having a perfect existence there by memories of an event from his past. Those memories finally start fading when he is confronted by the truth, up close and personal, right there on his turf. Dutch steps up to the plate to gain closure and perhaps a little revenge and finds himself on yet another adventure.
This book was an absolute page turner, as in forget what time it is and never put the book down kind of page turner. I loved the main character Dutch for his quirkiness and the villian was incredibly hateable. What an amazing book!
