Firstly with a title like this who wouldn’t want to read it? And the cover just fabulous and Michelle Douglas has never disappointed me with one of her stories and this one has all the feels that belong in a true romance story, the setting well what can I say Corfu, the Greek Isles makes this one is a must read.

Audra Russel has escaped to her brother’s house on Corfu to try and get her life back on track after being coned badly by her last boyfriend, she works for the family company and is very close to her family, she lost her mother when she was just seventeen, Audra is the type of person who always thinks of everyone else before herself, but when she is rudely awakened by breaking glass in the early hours of the morning, and discovers close family friend Finn Sullivan in handcuffs, maybe things are about to change for Audra.

Finn is getting over a very bad skiing accident that nearly claimed his life, Finn has led a life filled with extreme sports following in his father’s footsteps, he was left orphaned young and sent to boarding school by his uncle this is where he met Rupert Russel and they became fast friends, he felt part of the family. When he ends up holidaying in Corfu at the same time as Audra, Rupert lets him know that he is not to break her heart in any way, but that might be tough on Finn as they get closer after a deal they make.

I fell into this story, MS Douglas bought the island and the characters to life, I felt like I was on Corfu with Finn and Audra as they awoke each other to feelings and experiences that neither had done before, this romantic journey is filled with emotion, witty banter and fun as two people who deserve love so much find it, I do highly recommend this story, I loved it I smiled, cheered them on, enjoyed the Greek food, the company of the people and the sights, MS Douglas you rock thank you.

This was a slow burn kinda book. Lovely dialogue and a believable romantic storyline trajectory. As with many closed-door/no-sex romances, the relationship build became intensely focused on how the h/h understand their own selves before they can even think about being in a relationship together. I really liked this deep exploration.

MISS PRIM’S GREEK ISLAND FLING by author Michelle Douglas is a May 2019 release by Harlequin Romance series.

Audra Russel made a spur of a moment decision to escape to her brother’s Greek Island villa to escape the media after her fiancé betrayed her. As she was alone in the villa, she surprises a would-be burglar by calling the cops on him. Little did she know that instead of a burglar it was her brother’s best friend, Finn Sullivan.

She had always stayed under the radar where Finn was concerned, so what would she do now? Staying in close proximity and sharing the villa showed both of them that they had scorching hot chemistry between them only waiting to be ignited.

It also showed Audra that Finn was not the person she always thought him to be. He was kind, generous and a hard-working person. Not the adventure loving playboy she thought he was. And he was oh, so sensitive, too. Would they give in to the attraction simmering beneath the surface?

MISS PRIM’S GREEK ISLAND FLING is a sweet and emotional romance. Author Michelle Douglas’ story telling brought the characters and the setting alive and drew me into the story as if I was really there. I caught myself smiling and tearing up! This story was full of funny dialogue and witty comebacks among all the emotional intensity.

Highly recommended for all readers of romance.

This book was a lot of fun (as Michelle Douglas's always are!), especially in the middle of a cold CNY Winter... a Greek fling was just the right thing to read. The setting is gorgeous, and the writing really captured it (I am so jealous of the shop in the book), and Finn is likely my favorite of this author's heroes to date. I also really enjoyed the emotional journey, which had its heavier moments, but that didn't detract from the "beach read" quality of the book. I liked the way the characters moved each other to grow, heal and realize new things that helped them move forward into a healthy relationship (dare I say there might be some fodder for readers to do their own reflection on some of the themes here?). All in all, another great book from Michelle Douglas. :)

I loved this book and read it in one go. I loved the characters, the building up of the story, love the way Finn treated Audra, loved how Audra cared for Finn, their interaction with each other and of course the setting of the story is sublime. Miss Prim is less and less Miss Prim at the end of the book, where she emerges as a fierce woman, not afraid to take on adversaries or to follow her dreams. While reading this book, I felt like being on holiday myself! Here’s what the book’s about:
After a devastating betrayal, Audra Russel escapes to her brother's Greek island to lick her wounds. Only she soon finds that her brother's best friend, Finn Sullivan, is vacationing there, too! He may be recovering from a near-fatal accident, but the irresistible daredevil is intent on showing buttoned-up Audra how to have a good time. And now that she's started, she doesn't ever want to stop!

I loved this book. The beautiful beach and small village setting was amazing, I’m a sucker for any book with a beach and the description by Michelle of the beach and town made me wish to be transported there immediately 😊 I loved Audra and her relatable character of self doubt, I loved daredevil Finn who challenged Audra. They complimented each other and discovered each other and their self discovery was amazing to see unfold. Yet another book by the fabulous Michelle Douglas that I could not put down!! I highly recommend you get this when it hits the shelves in the coming months 😊

This is a wonderful warm, sunshiny book set on a fictional Greek island. Yes please, I can cope with that. Audra has retreated to her brother's luxury villa there, and Finn, her best friend's brother, also turns up, not knowing anyone is there. Audra is traumatised by something we don't know about as yet, and Finn has checked himself out of hospital after nearly killing himself in a mountain accident. Both are wounded, both are vulnerable. These two each have the key to healing each other, but they just don't know it yet. Finn and Audra are nice people, both worried about their past, present and futures... The romance is lovely, just charming. I really enjoyed reading this.

Audra has come to her brothers Greek island home to recoup after being used and abused by her Ex. When late at night she hears someone break in she calls the police. She finds out that her brothers friend Finn has also come there. His career is extreme sports and was seriously injured and needs time to heal . Audra's brother Rupert warned both to not get involved with each other. Should not be a problem ,except fate put these two wounded people one in spirit and one in body together and challenging each other to do all kinds of things like reading, running and of course falling in love. They find their dreams coming true on this little island and never realized that the life they were living was not the dream they wanted. Both make the other aware that something was truly missing in their life and what they thought would be their future was not the future they truly wanted. Ms. Douglas always delivers a lovely story that you will savor and she has added an Epilogue that will make you sigh. don't miss this one.

Aura and Finn both find themselves staying in the home of her older brother Rupert on the fictional Greek island of Kyranos. Both have reasons for needing to get away from their daily lives.
I enjoyed seeing the way that Audra and Finn challenged each other to step away from their own norm through the book even if I want to yell at them "communicate properly with each other already". Of course this is complicated by Finn being Rupert's best friend and Rupert warning both Audra and Finn away from each other.
Looking forward to finding out if Rupert, as well as Audra's other siblings get their own books.

Audra Russel goes to her brother ‘s Greek Island Home. She goes to get away from the media and the man she thought she loved. He breaks her heart because he used her to get to secrets from her family business. Finn Sullivan was in a near-fatal accident. He needs to heal. He doesn’t know that Audra is there. They decide to both stay there. They decide to help each other to move forward to heal. They push each other to enjoy life, push to get out of their comfort zone. Can they move forward and heal? They have chemistry. Finn doesn’t want to act upon it because he promised his best friend, Audra’s brother. What will happen? Will they fall in love? It’s a wonderful read. I truly loved it.

4 1/2 STARS!

An emotional journey of physical and mental healing! She's running away from an ugly time in her life, he's healing after an injury that almost killed him. He wants to help her get out of her head a little and she wants to make sure he doesn't mistreat his weary body. Together they set out to have a vacation to remember ... and when sparks fly and flames connect, it turns into a trip they will never forget! Great characters, a fun connection between them and a pleasure to read.

When Audra Russel faces a betrayal of the worst kind, she decides to go to her brother's vacation house on a Greek island to regroup for a little while. She never expects to be awoken in the middle of the night to someone entering the house!

Finn Sullivan knows his best friend Rupert won't mind him using his house for a little downtime, after all that's what he gave him a key for. He's not expecting to have Rup's little sister thinking he's an intruder though! He's just been through an injury that just about did him in, so he needs a little R & R ... he'll just have to see if he can get straight-laced Audra to join him on his adventure.

A lovely, fun story set on a gorgeous Greek island. Both Audra and Finn are in need of some R&R after some traumatic incidents and happen to both arrive at Audra's brother's - Finn's best friend's - Greek villa at the same time. Finn needs to relax and Audra's great at relaxing. Audra needs to let her hair down and Finn's a pro at having fun. Together, they help each other fight their demons and discover all they've ever wanted - with each other and in their lives. Definitely the perfect summer or beach read, or if you just want a pick me up.

This is the story of Audra and Finn who have both taken a break on a Greek Island. As luck would have it, they both decided to take advantage of the same home at the same time. It’s a very nice story of overcoming the past and finding yourself and, of course, of finding love. It’s very well written and has good descriptions of the location and the character studies are interesting.

Dull and unexciting. Characters were good but the story was too long winded. Basically too much of nothing.

Finn and Audra help each other heal from the scars others/world has left on them. Being with each other is breath of fresh air.
