The Teen Witch: Inferno

Rate this book
Emily is a teenage witch living in a beachside town supernaturals call home.

She spent all Summer practicing her self-control, and she’s finally confident that her magic won’t get away from her every time she becomes emotional.

When Emily meets Valentina a closed off and distant student, Emily knows what it means to be an outcast, and she’s sure she can help. Valentina is also a witch, and it’s good to have a friend who knows what she’s going through.

The local witch coven asks Emily to join them. At first, Emily is unsure. She accepted who she is, but she’s not ready to be a full-fledged witch.

Things start wronging in Safety Beach when something rips through the witches’ cloak that hides the magic from the tourists.

Emily's power grows wildly out of control, the coven might be exactly what Emily needs. But there's one caveat, Emily must choose between the Coven and her new friend Valentina.

Self-exiled from her friends, Emily needs to dig deep to find the truth in who she is to make everything right again. But will she be able to turn back from the lonely path she’s chosen?

This might be the perfect example of too little, too late.

Fans of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Vampire Diaries will love The Teen Witch Chronicles, a young adult urban fantasy series.

Emily thought she had her fire powers under control but things are starting to fall apart for her and if she doesn’t get her powers back in control then she is going to do something that she will regret for the rest of her life like hurt one of her mom or maybe even one of her friends.

After her an accident she has with her fire powers Emily’s mom wants her to join the local coven but Emily is not ready to have her life controlled like that. But eventually she gives in to her mom and goes for a visit with the coven to check things out. While she is visiting the coven Emily meets this hot dude, Calder who helps train Emily to control her fire.

In The Teen Witch: Inferno Emily meets a new friend Valentina. Emily tells Chloe and Reece about meeting Valentina and explains that she wants all of them to hang out together but Chloe and Reece do not want to hang out with Valentina and be her friend. Emily’s friendship with Valentina puts a stain on Emily and Chloe’s friendship.

Her powers are starting to spiral out of control. If she doesn’t get them under control it could put the whole town in peril. Emily is beginning to wonder if Valentina is the person she believed her to be and she is starting to wonder if she is not behind what is happening to all the magic.

The Teen Witch: Inferno has some secrets of its own which it doesn’t give up easily. It is filled with lots of magic and wonderful characters that will take you on a whirlwind of ride. The story flows along so well that it had me so engrossed that I totally forgot that there was a world going on around me I could see each and every scene playing out in my head like a movie. The Teen Witch: Inferno would definitely make for a great movie.

I would absolutely recommend The Teen Witch: Inferno to anyone who loves the paranormal world that is filled with more than one kind of paranormal person. And if you like shows like Sabrina the Teenage Witch or Charmed then this the story for you.

Fun read!

I'm really starting to love Emily. She's made herself at home in this new community made up primarily off supernaturals. Having gone her entire life not knowing she was a witch... At least until "the incident"... She's doing amazingly well with all these new changes. Learn you're a witch ✔. Move to a new town suddenly ✔. Try to make a few new friends ✔. Forced to join a coven you really don't trust ✔. So when Em sees a fellow loner at school, then learns Valentina herself is a witch?! Imagine her curiosity piqued. Little does she know everything is NOT always as it seems. Who can Emily trust? Her power seems to have a mind of its own these days, and for the first time in her life her own fire burns her. Something is off and she doesn't know what. Who can she trust? Will she ever learn how her powers really work? If only she it's more about her father. This series is filled with paranormal whiskey excitement and intrigue led by one brilliant, independent and fiercely protective young witch.

Catching up on reviews. Didn’t realize kindle wasn’t marking these completed.

Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...

1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.

2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.

3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.

4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.

5 stars... I loved this book! It has earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ASAP.

Absolutely loved this story about Emily, a teen witch, who has moved to a new town and is trying to fit in. It doesn’t help that she has recently discovered she has a supernatural power, fire, and the the town she’s living in is full of people with supernatural powers.
But things start to go wrong around town and Emily is still learning about her powers and how to control them. She wants to try and solve the mystery but finds herself with more questions and wondering exactly who she can trust.
Read the book to find out. Every teenager will definitely be able to relate. A fun, exciting book to curl up and read.
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest and voluntary review.

Live and Learn

Emily is coming to terms with being a witch, but doesn't really want to join the local coven. After a while she decides that she would, and did join. At school she meets another witch, Valentina, who is a loner and Emily wants to help by including Valentina with her other friends. This didn't go down well with her other friends, one of whom is a vampire and the other is a werewolf. Whilst at the mall, her and Valentina run into the head of the coven. Later Emily is told to stay away from Valentina. After a couple of incidents involving Valentina, Emily realises that the coven was right about Valentina. The showdown between Emily and Valentina had to happen, but at least she had the backing of yhe coven.

I enjoyed this book. I think Laura Marie has written a book that everyone can relate to when it comes to getting or receiving advice whether you are a paranormal or not. It shows people can get along with others if they set their differences aside and just relate on a friendship level and if you don’t then problems will and do ensue as a result.

I would urge everyone both old and young to check out this book for yourself and see if you can’t picture yourself or those you know in the characters you’ll read about.

Kudos to Laura Marie! I look forward to the next books in this series to see what will happen to these new found friends of mine.

Poor Emily, as if being a teenager isn't enough, she thinks she's losing her marbles and she can't confide in anyone. Now her mom is taking her away from everything she knows. As if things weren't bad enough. Poor girl, things are about to get worse! Should she join the local covan? Who can she trust? That boy is cute. Enjoyable book. Recommended read.🤓

Another pretty good entry in the Teen Witch series. Emily is a bit of a know-it-all, but the adults are equally frustrating by being secretive and not answering her questions until things come to a boil. It's really annoying when the adults are right but also strict and deliberately not forthcoming. Also, there are numerous typos.

Too much drama

A new witch to a coven she's not sure about. She doesn't want to join. She doesn't understand her magic. Teenager issues. Self destructive, doesn't listen, doesn't want advice, thinks she knows everything until she doesn't. Then she want help. Typical teenage stuff.

Great story

I started this out of order and was thrilled with the series but now that I’ve read from start I am really enjoying it. Characters are well developed and story flows smoothly.

Wow Jawdropping story

So what happened to your first full year at high school? Me a solar eclipse. The main character got nearly killed by an evil witch she thought was a lonely teen. She wins her fight against the witch and discovers wind power.

Set aside a day for this family-friendly tale of a teen of unusual ability. I read an ARC and this voluntary review is my own opinion.

Another great teen adventure with Em, Chloe and Reese. I love reading about their dangerous adventures and being able to “see” them grow and become more confident in themselves.
