I’ve met the boy of my dreams… and now someone wants me dead.

When something so wonderful as love at first sight happened, I had no idea how much would change overnight. I have a lot on my plate and turning eighteen was only the beginning. Ready to graduate high school, my mother getting remarried to a wonderful man who actually loves her makes for the kind of life I had always hoped for.

And then I met Devon.

Someone doesn’t want us together and is willing to go to extreme lengths to prove their point. When my friends start disappearing, I find myself in a cat and mouse game with someone willing to play for the ultimate sacrifice.
Devon’s dark past is a piece to the puzzle, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to dig deep enough before it’s too late.
I may just become another player in a game that has no ending except one.

This edge-of-your-seat Young Adult Suspense novel with realistic characters, simmering romance, and intriguing mystery will keep you hooked until the very end.

The concept for this book is exceptional, girl meets boy, falls in love, girl gets stalker, etc.. Now, theres a reason for my 3 stars.
At the beggining of the book I feel like F.A Witte, has just overloaded you with words, with information you sorta don't need, or information that can be spread over the book itself. Another reason is the fact that, this story seemed so fast paced and I feel like there was so much missing information about Pleshelle's relationship with Devon. On the other hand I actually enjoyed the suspense of this book, to be honest it was the only saving grace for this tale. When things start to get hairy Pleshelle does what any teenager would do and decides to develop an "attitude" but she also decides to fight back. With the help of ger best friend she seeks answers. The reveal of the stalker could be seen a mile away, HOWEVER, there were aspects that I definitely over looked when it came time for the final scene. I received a copy of this book from Voracious Readers for an honest review. 🙋‍♀️

Great Mystery!!!

Ms. Witte is phenomenal in her detail & her suspense. She is without a doubt right up there with the Nancy Drew & Hardy Boys mysteries. These books were my favorites as a youngster, & Ms. Witte is just as great! I could not put it down, eyes got sore. I look forward to her next one. She is fast on her way to a long career if her stories are driven with the same suspense & description as this one was. Great job Ms. Witte, you are phenomenal in your writing & see a bright future in it for you.
