Two steps forward, a million steps back…

The city of Coldharbour has survived the damage caused by Lilisian, but the scars still run deep. I’m still no closer to breaking the curse on the city, always one step behind the enemy.

Where do you go when the road ahead is hidden?

At least the whole issue with Dean is sorted—the good kind of sorted. I’m now on a path of healing, helped by this new relationship. What now for me and my half-fae lover? Can I actually find myself some degree of happiness in a messed-up world?

Smooth sailing? No chance!

The white eye guy's intentions are no clearer, and the city is heading for destruction. The threat of Lilisian still grows every day. One defeat hasn’t stopped the beast Supreme, and I’m waiting for her next deadly move. It’s only a matter of time. She wants the city, and then the world beyond.

Change is coming…

Danger awaits, danger from within and without.

Everything I know is about to be turned upside down… again!

It all comes down to blood…

So have I mentioned that I absolutely LOVE this series? Each one is like, well, crack, I can't stop reading it until it's done and I'm left desperate for more.

In the fourth installment of this series our hero, Jake Winter, has finally given in to the attraction between him and Dean Tseng, his fey guardian. He carefully hopes that he's found a ray of happiness in the absolute cluster... ahem... that is Coldharbour, the city magically sealed away from the rest of the world and ground zero for the war with the Beast horde, with Dean. His heart may actually be healing, he may actually be getting over the murder of his husband. Jake may be the goddess's weapon but he's also human... kinda... if one discounts his lineage, but that's a whole different issue.

Unfortunately, the Supreme Beast Lolisian is still gunning for him and betrayal lurks around every corner, even amongst his guardians. The worst kind of betrayal, and one that might fracture Jake's team beyond repair.

I want to write more but this book NEEDS to be read. It was... mind blowing. Richard Amos's best book yet. This series seriously just keeps getting better and better.

So good

This keeps getting better and better. I did not expect that twist at the end, lol. Finally, the white eyed guy's identity is revealed and it was completely unexpected. Can't wait to read the last book!

Winter Blood is the fourth book in the Coldharbour Chronicles series, and so far it is my favorite book in this series. I enjoyed the first three books in this series a lot, and in my opinion each book gets better and better. I like Winter Blood a lot because as the series continues I get a deeper understanding of the characters and the story overall. I feel that in this book there was a lot that happened, and many of the questions were answered in this book. Also, I feel the writing gets better with each book. There was plenty of action, danger, and overall-development that occurred in this book. I was engrossed with Winter Blood from the first page, and I had a hard time putting the book down. Overall, I loved this book, and now I am eagerly waiting for the fifth book in this series to come out. I need to know what happens next!
I recommend this book for you to read. If you have not read the first three books in this series, then I recommend that you read those books first. Each book builds on each other, and in order to understand the background, and the growth that happens you need to start from the beginning. The first book in this series is called Winter Rising.

Wow! This is another amazing book in the Coldharbour Chronicles series and it is my favorite so far. I was riveted from the very first page and I could not put it down. It is well-written, gritty, intense, fast-paced, full of insane twists you don't see coming, the action never stops and the characters are pushed to their limits. Jake and his friends are blindsided when they discover they have been betrayed by someone they trust and they are facing unimaginable danger as Lilisian is stronger than ever. There are surprises around every corner and I love how intense this story is. I can't wait to read the next book in this incredible series.

Great series and lovely book cover😀

I received this book by the author and this is my honest opinion.
This series is bliming amazing and I'm so glad I started this series, the author writes a fantastic plot and the intrigue which grabs you by the short and curlies and just does not let you go. The journey of Jack discovering this world and all its creatures is so well portrayed and with all the twists and turns it keeps you on your toes. I like the relationship between Jack and Dean and even the white eyed man and his cat and mouse toying is good. Imaginative with all its creatures and Greek mythology throw in for good measure, a definite good read and I can't wait for the next book

After reading the fourth book in this series, I think it’s the best so far. Not only is the plot progressing nicely, the romance is pretty much hot and heavy. There was a sort of plot twist in this one I didn’t see coming which ramped up the tension to a high degree. I love Jake’s character especially how he deals with his addiction. The side characters, besides Dean, can get a little lost in the shuffle, but they are good, too. I love all the action this series has, and I can’t wait to see what the fifth book will bring. I highly recommend this! I was provided the e-book which I voluntarily reviewed.

This is the fourth book in The Coldharbour Chronicles Series. A sensational book the writing was good. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters captivating. The characters were developed and thought out. Jake and Dean are the MC’s of this book. There was humor, werewolves, beasts, a weapon, friends, a goddess, betrayal and so much more in this book. I can recommend this book as a good read. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

I’ve enjoyed every single book in this series and this latest book was no exception.

This was one gripping story and there were things even I didn’t see coming.

The slow burn romance between Dean and Jake was beautiful. These two get down and dirty in this latest instalment and about time too.

There were a few areas that crushed my heart - poor Jake can’t seem to catch a break.

Amazing series, can’t wait for the next book.

So Much Action

Richard Amos continues to thrill us with his Coldharbour Chronicles series! Jake is the key to saving the world, in this 4th installment, and his guardians, plus a few additions, take us on an epic journey in Winter Blood.

It is a given that Richard provides steam and sensational scenes in his writing AND we get surprises galore in this book. Sit back and enjoy the ride, but be prepared for anything to happen.

This storey just keeps getting better, plus just when you thought everything was going Jake's way unexpected twist and turns catch you out in this book. Some questions are answered such as who the white eyed guy is, some shocks as well. Full of Action but intertwined with some lighter moments and lots of sarcasm makes for a very enjoyable read

Outstanding read!!!

Woah! I can honestly say I never saw anything that happened in this book coming. Secrets, betrayal, and the unimaginable. I was blown away. This entire series is outstanding but this 3rd book with all of these twists and turns took the cake. Fantastic characters and plot. I'm so ready for the next book already. This is a must read series.

Oh-Em-Gee! The tension mounts in this book as betrayals are revealed at every turn, heroes are separated, Guardians are offed, and an ancient deity raises from the marshes of the Beastlands. Would give this book ten stars if I could.

3.25/5. Messy, messy, messy. The story is giving Zodiac Academy with all the bad shit piling up and angst out the ass. It’s definitely ready to pop off.
