As Reito continues to search for a cure for the Man-Killer virus, he uncovers something startling. Patient 3 is revived from cryosleep and his handler has something interesting in store for him. Also, lots of boobs...
World's End Harem continues. The plot is rolling right along. Reito continues holding out on all the women gunning for him. Doi, Patient Three, might have a similarly hard road in store for him since it looks like he's to be on a reality show as women look to catch his seed. And Kyoji, the other man, seems to be having no problem adjusting to the new status quo as he bangs everything that comes near him.
As with the previous book, it's a hybrid of science fiction and Skinemax. Honestly, there are dirtier Game of Thrones episodes. Still, lots of nudity and strong sexual content. It's a dirty fun read. I have a feeling Reito is going to wind up banging his sister at some point but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
As with the last volume, there were plenty of hooks for future stories. There were also fewer boobs than in the last book, although my memory might be failing me. It's good that the series has a definite end because the concept could easily get stale after a few volumes.

Some notable plot developments here: Reito learns from a clue left by Elisa that the MK Virus was man-made; Reito strikes a deal with the UW to present his existence in order to secure a research facility; Patient Three is awakened.
Not quite sure what's going on, but Chapter 12 starts an arc for Patient Three, Doi Shota, during which Reito or his buddies aren't seen at all. Are we led to believe a lot of Shota's story will take place disconnected from Reito's? I guess we'll see in Volume 3.
I feel like Neneko wasn't named at all last volume, so it's interesting her name pops up on the Characters pages at the start of this volume.
They just keep saying "Jizz-rod" all volume....

On continue toujours notre histoire avec ce second tome de la saga Word's End Harem. Je précise toujours, cette saga est pour un public averti.
Dans ce second tome, nous suivons toujours principalement le parcours de Reito, second jeune homme à avoir été réveillé au Japon. Pendant que le premier jeune homme « honore » ses promises en les enfantant, Reito lui veut à tout prix trouver un remède au virus MK. Pendant ce temps, la soeur de Reito tente de faire sa part et aide les plus démunies.
A un moment, Reito va entrer dans l'ancien laboratoire de son amie d'enfance, Erisa, et va y découvrir un bracelet enregistreur où la jeune femme va lui révéler une partie de l'origine du virus MK, ce qui le laisse perplexe ; d'autant plus qu'après une réunion avec les femmes de l'UW, la plus âgée de ces femmes semble cacher quelque chose elle aussi mais aucun indice n'est donné, c'est un peu frustrant. Pendant ce temps, les femmes tentent toujours de séduire Reito et ce dernier tente toujours de résister aux diverses avances. De plus, avec l'autorisation des ministres du Japon, il fait une déclaration internationale.
Même si l'histoire est concentrée sur Reito, voilà que le numéro trois est également réveillé ! Etrangement, ce jeune homme avait aussi la même maladie que Reito et, de plus, c'était un étudiant avant qu'il ne soit cryogénisé, il était solitaire et malmené à son école et d'après les informations que l'on voit, il va avoir droit à un traitement un peu différent des autres, au vu de son triste passé. Mais il est tout aussi étrange et que pourra-t-il apporter à toute cette situation ?
Bref, ce fut un autre tome qui amène quelques réponses mais encore plus de questions. On en apprend un peu sur les différentes femmes qui sont en gros les ministres du Japon ad interim vu que les hommes ont tous disparus ou sont décédés. Ce que j'aurai bien souhaité, même si la plupart des mangas sont en noir, gris et blanc, c'est que les tomes soient soit tous en couleurs ou tous en noir/gris/blanc car nous avons parfois des alternances entre différentes planches. C'est le seul point négatif que je trouve à cette saga jusqu'à maintenant. En conclusion, un très bon second tome qui amène tout de même quelques réponses, à voir ce que la suite donnera.

I really liked the artwork here. Very keen attention to details. Background artwork was done well at many places. Paneling is excellent. The story is still quite decent.

Ever read The Goslings? This is basically the manga version. With a side of hentai.
A few years back, I saw this manga and read the few chapters that were published and just forgot about it. Years later, I recognized it in the features popular manga section. Excited, I went to read thinking I had found something I had enjoyed but forgotten years ago. Now, I wish I had completely forgotten or never even read it in the first place.
The male population is nearly none existent due to a sickness only affecting the XY sex including stored semen (I don't even know how those ones contracted the disease but whatever). So a few select men were placed in hibernation including the protagonist of the series (although for him it was due to a fatal disease in which they could cure him in the future). If only the plot made a bit more sense but from the looks of it, people aren't reading this for the plot but for the bodacious curvy women with giant jello cups for breasts and sex crazed libidos borderline sexual rapy predators **cringe** I rather spare myself from writing more as it is truly cringe worthy and although I love fan service, this plain just **excuse me I must vomit a bit** me...
