This is an interesting biography of a little-known General who was sent to the west after his failure to perform during the Seven Days Battle. The start of the book was interesting and during the Battle of the Seven Days, Huger fought with General Longstreet over who had seniority and who had preference on the road during the battle.
Overall the book is very dry, but informative. This is the only biography of General Huger that I could find.
