After reading Boyfriend for Hire, I was so ready for Case’s book. And knowing it was going to be a brother’s best friend book… I’m here for it! This was definitely a forbidden love story, but it still had Kendall Ryan’s sweet and sexy trademark.
Case Smith is the owner of a successful male escort agency and though he’s been one of the most popular escorts since he started it, his time taking clients is over. He’s fine with the management aspect and is now writing book, but the escorting just doesn’t feel right anymore. When fellow escort/best friend Ryder asks Case to hire his little sister Sienna who is fresh out of college, he hesitates. He does it though, as a favor to Ryder.
Sienna is a huge help to Case. She gets the office in top shape and keeps him on a writing schedule to finish his book. The sparks fly between them, but she is off limits to Case. Ryder is his best friend, so he won’t go there. Until their connection gets too much for either of them to resist. Then, all bets are off…
The Hookup Handbook is narrated by Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon. They do an amazing job narrating together. Kendall Ryan always gets fantastic narrators to read her books so I always go for the audio format.
If you’re looking for a book (or audiobook) that’s steamy, quick, and swoony, pick this one up. It's great for those who love brother’s best friend stories. I’m looking forward to more in this Escort series of hers!!

I don't know. I just wanted more. I was so intrigued by Case, but this just did not live up to what I thought it would be based on the last book. I think my favorite part of the last book in the series was the male escort trope, but this really wasn't present in this book. This book does the same thing as the last book where the author would say something like "the conversation flowed easily" and I still wanna know what they talked about. I just want more I don't know.

The Hookup Handbook was a terrifically fun and entertaining read. Combining my two favorite troupes, best friend’s sibling & workplace romance, this book hit all the marks that I was looking for and then some.
Told from dual points of view, The Hookup Handbook follows the story of Sienna and Case. From the moment I met these two, I just knew their story was going to be explosive and boy was I not disappointed. Their chemistry was instant and completely off the charts. Sienna is smarter than smart and knows her stuff. She is the biggest temptation that Case has ever encountered. You see, Case has been off his game. His body isn’t cooperating the way it used to. There’s only one woman he wants, and it’s the one he can’t have. So, to keep his thoughts clear of Sienna, he focuses on keeping his business going and working on his book. However, writing a book about sex and intimacy isn’t as easy as it seems. While the words are flowing, he can’t seem to get Sienna off his mind. She’s driving him wild. It’s only a matter of time before they both give in to the passion that burns deep inside them…

I'm in a buying books mood because I don't have any books left anymore (In my mind, my kobo says otherwise..) so when I saw one of my friends reviewed this one I knew I needed to have it.
Because let's be honest the blurb does sound intriguing and kind of hot?!
It was a fun and steamy book with a little side drama if you can really call it drama! I'm actually wondering if there is a guy out there that brought out a book like Case did? If so that would be exciting to read too!
I liked Sienna from the start she is a very easy girl to like! She's strong and sassy who isn't afraid to open her mouth and say what she thinks. Case is a bossy, moody but also fun guy. If that makes sense?

The Hookup Handbook is a charming, enticing tale that mixes the intelligent, hardworking Sienna who’s determined to help her new boss meet his deadlines this summer but not fall for him, and the cocky, successful Case who may just take the risk and act on his feelings for his best friend’s little sister who seems to be able to help him with more than just his career woes.
The prose is humorous and light. The characters, including all the supporting characters, are unique, friendly, and engaging. And the plot sweeps you away into a steamy storyline filled with snappy banter, shameless flirting, palpable chemistry, friendship, family, light drama, romance, and the ups and downs of life as an escort.

I liked this, but didn't love it. The romance didn't make a ton of sense to me, and I don't know why I continue to purchase and read workplace romances because all I can think of is how entirely inappropriate the whole situation is the whole time I'm reading. I also didn't love that Sienna is basically treated like her brother's property — he had no business reacting the way he did to seeing his adult sister on a date. Should they have mentioned it? Maybe, since they both knew him, and it might have been considerate, but they had no actual obligation to ask or tell him anything. Still, it was a decently enjoyable read.

The Hookup Handbook was such a fun and light, yet utterly steamy read! I took a bit of a break from indulging in Kendall Ryan’s books, but this only reminded me why I enjoyed her swoony, toe-curling romances.
Case Smith might be the undeniably scrumptious owner of a highly successful escort agency, but he’s one with the biggest and kindest of hearts. He’ll bring you to your knees when you find out the reason why he was working his ass off—quite literally—as much as he was. And when you witness just how far gone he was for his newest assistant—who also happened to be his best friend’s younger sister—you’ll only melt even further for the guy. Although as much as I loved Case, I also adored Sienna. She was a smart and sexy spitfire who’s so driven and passionate. When she sets her sights on something, she gives it her all—just like with helping Case out with his book and her dancing. She didn’t back down from him and his surly, standoffish attitude in the beginning either, and that only made her so much more perfect for him.
Case and Sienna’s relationship might’ve started off as a fling, a way to get Case’s man meat to wake up and get going again, but neither of them expected to get to know each other more and fall hard in the process. The interaction between them was as easy and natural as a breeze, but the quick progression of their relationship was nothing short of wild and explosive. When it comes to the ins and outs of sex and intimacy, Case Smith is a pro, and I mean that in every sense of the word; because for the past 8 years, he’s been a male escort, sleeping his way through a never-ending list of clients, but even though he’s damn good at his job and keeps his female clientele more than satisfied, the stress of running a business, managing his employees and their schedules as well as an upcoming book deadline that he’s barely started and it makes sense that his sex drive has taken a hit, but interestingly enough, it’s not that he can’t perform, it’s that there only seems to be one woman who gets him hard - too bad she’s his newest employee, his best friend’s little sister, and completely off-limits!
Boy could Case use a handbook in order to maneuver around his current attraction, or maybe…he just throws his rulebook out and sees what he could have with a certain curvy and sassy part-time employee who makes him look as his profession with fresh eyes.
I love the fact that Sienna busts Case’s balls on day 1. She doesn’t hold back when she questions him about his 8 year career of sleeping with women and she asks the tough questions, even if he refuses to answer them or even consider them while she’s in his presence. Case needs a woman who will challenge him, not the typical women who fawn all over him and his gorgeous self.
The push and pull between Sienna and Case had to happen, even if it was frustrating. There’s a lot on the line for both of them that has nothing to do with his business or her job, which means if they’re going to give into their feelings and desire for one another, they need to know what they’re risking and be okay with the fallout if things end badly.
I do have to mention Case’s word choice when it comes to a particular part of his anatomy. I should have ran a tally of the number of words and descriptions Case used to describe his penis - I truly didn’t know there were that many colorful variations, and while some were completely absurd, I anxiously anticipated what would come out of Case’s mouth next to label his favorite appendage.
The Hookup Handbook has heat, heart, and hilarity; it’s a brother’s best friend, office romance that proves that a ‘cocky manwhore playboy’ can be a one-woman man if the right girl comes along and knocks him on his ass.

He noticed that he was having more and more trouble "performing", but he couldn't figure out why. Throw in that he has a book to write with the deadline fast approaching and he's a little stressed out.
Sienna is the sister of Case's best friend Ryder. Ryder has asked Case if he could give his sister a job organizing the office for the summer while she figures out what she's going to do with her life. Sienna is happy for something to do, but she's not all that thrilled when she meets Case who Ryder has repeatedly told her is "awesome" when he treats her as more of a hassle than a help.
As Sienna and Case begin spending more time together, it's increasingly difficult for them to deny that there is a strong attraction between them. The opening line of the description was the hook...well, partially the hook since I’d already met Case in Boyfriend for Hire and really wanted to know more about him, but if I hadn’t already been curious, then that linke “My love wand is on a strike” would have been all that I needed. But I have to say, this was a fun, cute, quick and smexy read that was low on angst but high in sexual chemistry that only got stronger as the book progressed.
I really liked Case and Sienna. Case is charming, intelligent and observant and I couldn’t help but admire him for building the business up the way he did. It may not be what some would deem acceptable, but his reasons behind were legit. Sienna is fiesty. She is that weird mix of sassy and awkward all rolled up into a cute little package. Their journey was a fun one to experience. Though it felt like things happened quickly, it was understandable considering the amount of time they spent in each other’s company and I really like how they grew on each other and found that their assumptions were, most of the time, unfounded. The roadblock in their journey wasn’t unexpected at all, but the blowout from it kind of was. But in the end, things work out exactly as they were supposed to Case and Sienna and I loved where they ended up.
If you haven’t read Boyfriend for Hire, you’ll be perfectly fine, this one can be read as a complete standalone, but Nic and Elle are mentioned and it’s always fun to start at the beginning and meet all the players and see how the evolve. With that being said, I’m hoping that Ryder is next because I personally cannot wait to see that man be brought to his knees!

The Hookup Handbook by Kendall Ryan is a charming, sweet, sexy ,funny and entertaining read. Case and Sienna’s love story was exploding with passion, heat and feels. The chemistry between Case and Sienna was super intense and fabulous. I always love reading a best friend's sibling romance and this was a really great one. This had a twist on the BFF sibling romance and I loved the characters in this read. Really liked the epilogue in this story and can't wait to read more from Ms. Ryan because she has become a one click author for me. This book is a fantastic story with great characters and a really good storyline that keeps you interested from start to finish.

Case met his match!!!! Who would’ve thought that his best friend little sister would be the one to make the biggest escort think about changing profession. Sienna wasn’t intimidated by Case and that just attracted him to her even more. She was attracted to him from day one but never put up with his bs. This was a quick but spicy office romance/vest friend little sister story with no drama and hot scenes.
It was nice catching up with Nic and Elle but mis it’s time for Ryder to settle down, 😊.

Oh, I enjoyed this one a lot more than the first book in this series. Case was a sweet, thoughtful hero with just the right amount of cocky. Sienna was smart, outspoken and suffered from a serious case of no brain-to-mouth filter, which I loved. The romance was definitely on the instalust/instalove side a bit but it didn't really bothered me that much in this story.
It was fun, cute and sexy. There were some moments/scenes that I didn't particularly care for but overall it was a nice enjoyable read!

By now y'all know that best friend's sibling/sibling's best friend books are my kryptonite and Kendall Ryan does such a great job with them! Add to that the whole escort angle and this was just a fun, HAWT time from beginning to end. Case and Sienna are so stinking adorable together (just like the cover) and whenever they were on the page together it just sizzled. The Hookup Handbook is the perfect quick and breezy pick-me-up I needed and one I'll definitely be reading again! It's another great example as to why Kendall Ryan is one of the author's whose books I automatically preorder, blurb unread! 3 out of 5 wine glasses.

We met Case in the previous book Boyfriend for hire, as the owner of the escort agency. Case has been running his business and escorting for years until recently when he notices that he's not enjoying his job anymore. Something was missing and he was having a bit of trouble in the bedroom as well and he was too busy writing his book!
Enter Ryder's sister Sienna. Sienna needed a job for the summer to keep her busy until she figures out what to do with her life. Meeting her brother's best friend was not what she expected. For someone who is supposedly so 'awesome' he is being kind of a douche.
But the more time he spends with Sienna the more Case notices that his issues aren't there when he is spending time with Sienna. The way he feels around her is messing with his head. But he can't help his feelings, can't help feeling that maybe he has met the one for him. Someone that will be by his side, encouraging and maybe just as stubborn as him. And Sienna notices that maybe she might have a bit hasty in her assessment of him. Now all she want to do is be there for him, encouraging him to go after his dreams and helping him finish his book.
This book will make you feel swoony and have you smiling and laughing with their stubbornness, their back and forth banter and the sweet romantic moments will have you jumping up and down for them to find their HEA...You could pick up right from the start that they had a connection and some strong chemistry and some HOT steamy moments... I love that these books doesn't have that OTT drama and even though they have their issues, its something that is sorted quick and easy and not this long drawn out fights, lol... I need more of this series....

However, Case encounters a small problem in the professional sphere - not only that he’s completely lacking in writing, but also his 'equipment' has stopped working as it should... Until the moment when comes the support in the form of the younger sister of one of his employees. Sienna is fresh after graduation and needs a job that she’ll be able to add in her resume before she takes her career direction. Not only that this beautiful girl helps him to manage the office and motivates him to write, she brings back to life the most important 'tool' of Case's work ;) However, his profession is an obstacle in creating a relationship with a woman. There was a lot of this story in the setting, in who they were to one another before they even meet, and it gave it depth. I think we have all had that job that talking about is a little awkward, although I think for most of us, it's in a pie shop or wearing an awful uniform while selling hot dogs in a mall.
Sienna and Case are coworkers...well, he's her boss. Who just happens to be a male escort writing a book about sex who needs some additional help in the office, and with organizing his book.
It's a fabulous and fun set up. And, for me it mostly worked...although there definitely were some times when I felt the chemistry wasn't as strong between them as other parts in the book, I definitely felt the connection overall and I enjoyed this title.

I'm a fan of Kendall Ryan and love her stuff but for some reason this book wasn't what I thought it was going to be. As far as a review the blurb sums this book up perfectly. Case runs a high profile escort service and he is in high demand. He is hot, rich and living his best life. Sienna is his best friend's little sister and has come to work for him as his assistant/office manager. Since she has come to work for him, he can't help but to be drawn to her or keep his eyes off of her. Normally that wouldn't be a problem but it's turned into a huge one for him, especially with him being the top male escort around. He doesn't seem to "want" anyone but her and now its affecting his business.
Does he act on his feelings and risk his friendship with his best friend? Does he know how to have a normal relationship? Is he ready? While we find the answers to all of these questions, it was fun to watch Case and Sienna's personal and working relationship grow. Some of the things that happened were a little unbelievable for me. This book had all the right pieces but for me, they didn't fit together quite as well as I was hoping for.

I'm a fan of Kendall Ryan and love her stuff but for some reason this book wasn't what I thought it was going to be. As far as a review the blurb sums this book up perfectly. Case runs a high profile escort service and he is in high demand. He is hot, rich and living his best life. Sienna is his best friend's little sister and has come to work for him as his assistant/office manager. Since she has come to work for him, he can't help but to be drawn to her or keep his eyes off of her. Normally that wouldn't be a problem but it's turned into a huge one for him, especially with him being the top male escort around. He doesn't seem to "want" anyone but her and now its affecting his business.
Does he act on his feelings and risk his friendship with his best friend? Does he know how to have a normal relationship? Is he ready? While we find the answers to all of these questions, it was fun to watch Case and Sienna's personal and working relationship grow. Some of the things that happened were a little unbelievable for me. This book had all the right pieces but for me, they didn't fit together quite as well as I was hoping for.
