A down-on-her-luck single mom and the heir to an American political dynasty. A pregnant mom with no place to live and a child television star with a royal brother. A duchess trying to escape from under her father's tyranny and the Crown Prince who's loved her for years. Three women in the cottage yarn industry. Three men who don't understand their fascination, but love them anyway. Serenity Landing Second Chances Compilation Discovering Home Jonathan William Langley-Cranston IV has come to terms with the idea that he just might remain single and childless for the rest of his life. It’s not his first choice, but it seems to be what God has for him, at least for now. Until a chance encounter with a familiar face changes his outlook. MacKenzie Davidson has been a single mom since before her daughter was born. Just once, she’d love not to worry about losing her job or what will happen if her fledgling yarn dyeing business doesn’t take off. A stormy night and flooded road bring the straws that finally break the back of her independent streak. Her knight-in-shining-SUV comes in the form of American royalty. She’s read enough of the tabloids to know that’s how Jonathan’s family is seen and knows she can’t begin to measure up. But when he puts everything aside to help her, her daughter, and her now-floundering business, she begins to wonder. Jonathan quickly comes to believe he’s found everything he’s looking for. Will they find their way to each other or will they be ripped apart before discovering home? Glimpsing Hope Christopher Bayfield enjoys his single life. Unencumbered by relationships, he works and travels whenever he wants. He can even drop everything to do something he's been dreaming of for a while - return to acting in a Happily Ever After TV Network movie. But before he can leave a knock on the door changes his life. Julia Quisenberry never planned to have one child out of wedlock, much less be pregnant with number two, but this was what her life had become. Unemployed and barely making ends meet with her knitting patterns and teaching, she's almost desperate enough to take a handout from her best friend. A phone call from Christopher changes Julia's plans. He offers her a job and a lifeline, in more ways than one. So when the paparazzi threaten all he holds dear, she'll do anything to help him out - even marry him. Can they overcome the obstacles in their path to find a glimpse of hope for their own happily ever after? Reclaiming Hearts All of the next generation of royals from the Commonwealth of Belles Montagnes have found love. Except one. Crown Prince William of Mevendia has done an exceptional job of keeping his private life out of the public eye. It’s been half a decade since he was last romantically linked with anyone, and even then, no one actually knew who she was. Margaretha Delatreaux had once fancied herself in love with a prince. Maybe she still did. Promises broken still cause her heart to ache, and she longs to repair the damage the last words they’d flung at each other had done. After a chance encounter, a life or death situation, a foreign country, and unflattering press, just maybe they’ll have a second chance at reclaiming hearts.
When she's not writing about her imaginary friends, Carol Moncado is hanging out with her husband, four kids, and a dog who weighs less than most hard cover books. She prefers watching NCIS to just about anything, except maybe watching Castle. She believes peanut butter M&Ms are the perfect food and Dr. Pepper should come in an IV. When not watching her kids - and the dog - race around her big backyard in Southwest Missouri, she's teaching American Government at a local community college. She's a founding member and President of MozArks ACFW, category coordinator for First Impressions, blogger at InspyRomance, and represented by Tamela Hancock Murray of The Steve Laube Agency.
Discovering Home (Serenity Landing Second Chances #1) This One Captured My Heart! This book is one I've waited for, for a long time. If you've read any of Carol Moncado's Montevaro Monarchy series or the Brides of Belles Montagnes series then you'll be familiar with Jonathan. In those series a part of me was always wishing Jonathan would one day find his special someone and in this book he finally does. Yay! Unfortunately, it isn't easy. There are lots of issues that both Kenzie, and Jonathan have to overcome before their relationship can grow. Then it seems there's always something that pops up trying to make it even more difficult. Will these things drive them apart, or make them stronger?..........the ONLY way to know is if you buy the book and read it! This book had some bits of tough drama and tension then LOTS of tender romance. Carol also weaves into the story other characters from those other books in such a way it's like we get an update on their lives. I love how the author ties it all together. Finally, Jonathan's story has been told! I think you'll enjoy it!
Glimpsing Hope (Serenity Landing Second Chances #2) Each time I pick up a Carol Moncado book I know I'll be entertained. This one fits that bill perfectly! It was so fun to read about Christopher and Julia's story! It isn't easy to rise above heavy circumstances, but these two do. One thing this book is full of is fun moments with all the kids. Parenting isn't easy and it has it's ups and down. I received this book from the author and all opinions are my own. I highly recommend you pick it up.
Reclaiming Hearts (Serenity Landing Second Chances #3) Carol Moncado has done it again and brought us into the world of royals. This is a story about a young crown prince whose life is turned upside down when he is reunited with someone from his past and her deep secret. This book deals with secrets and how they can impact a life in many ways. It’s a story of finding one’s worth as well as a story of healing and love that is everlasting. I admire how Carol constantly weaves Biblical truths and examples of how these characters struggle to live a life that is pleasing to God. I highly recommend reading this book. It’s full of emotions, struggles and a bit of romance.
This whole collection is a wonderful addition to anyone’s library. I highly recommend you pick it up!
Very unlikely and unrealistic, even considering make-believe kingdoms etc. , and some events seem to have been made to fit what the author needed at that time, although that was even more in contradiction with what happened before, or even just common sense, but! still entertaining and captivating me enough so that I continued reading, and actually did want to know how it ended (yes, that was predictable, but the convoluted way to the ending wasn not). Three books in one compilation, some stories more likely than others, none of them really realistic, and some of the protagonists made me either want to roll my eyes or give them a good kick in the back side. All in all though, if you don't mind the occasional exercise for your eyes, the books, i.e. the stories are still interesting enough to want to finish them, so definitely not a waste of time.
I'm glad this book was free! I had a hard time putting the fairy tale royalty aspect together with the christian fiction aspect of these books. All the women were poor and all the men were rich and they didn't blink about taking care of them and the coincidences were too unbelievable. These felt like Young Adult books rather than adult fiction. There were also superficial references to various jobs and the "interviews" with the press were equally unbelievable. Nothing tied together well for me in this series and I won't be reading anything else from this author. Not my cup of tea.
I read these books quite some time ago. At that time I posted individual reviews for each book on Amazon. What can I say?!? I love Carol Moncado's books and I had read every single one with my Kindle Unlimited subscription. They have characters that grip your psyche, whoever they may be, and hold your heart until you finish a series. Solidly grounded with a subtle touch of the Lord. I am a solid fan of her work. What a wonderful book! It takes you rom beautiful young love, to evil intentioned separation, to refound love and the adjustment to the changes in one another, and so many other things. Carol Moncado's books have one thing in common--the ability to take you from reality and whisk you away to places and people you feel you've always known. Highly recommended!
Just enjoyed these stories of Royalty. Who wouldn't when they are filled with love, romance, mystery, and second chances. Each one is unique and the characters show up in all three books. The individuals are bright and talented. Pick up the book and sit back relax and enjoy. MK

This was a very interesting group of stories. Some rags to riches stories that were very good leading into rubbing elbows with royalty. My first time to read books from this author and I really enjoyed the book.
I really enjoyed these books. Carol has a way of bringing out the characters in her books so that you feel like you’re right there. These have mention of characters in the other books to keep you interested and each leaves you wanting more.
I loved these three stories. They were about rich or famous people and how they dealt with the press, love, society, and things we don't have to deal with day in and day out. Stories were so moving ! I could hardly put the book down.
Overall, this is a fun, clean, fairytale, Christian story. It’s a bit confusing in the transitions in between the stories. They back up a bit into the book before, but you don’t really understand how they are overlapped for awhile. I like the characters and how their relationships grow.
This series is so down to earth and easy to connect with. The characters are down to earth and make you want to keep reading. I struggled to put down the book and sleep many times.
Jonathan finally found love!!! I was rooting for him through the other books and was thrilled to read his! I enjoyed this set of books! I need a Crown Prince William to call me love!!
I love short noveletes! These stories take you to another land with royalty inviting your imagination. In Serenity Landing we all have a chance to become he princess.
It was fun to learn about yarn making, royal customs and other things. I throughly enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone who loves a good love story.
