Arnystal Kensington has never considered herself special or unique. She has never thought that there was more to life, other than surviving the normal everyday occurrences. Content in being alone, and devoted to her work, Arnystal is visibly rattled when her seemingly calm lifestyle begins to become plagued by horrific dreams which threaten to steal her sanity. Fearing that she is trapped in a downward spiral, that will lead to a padded room in a mental institution, she searches for outside explanations which could shed light on her slumbering torture. Arnystal could never have foreseen that she would have to solve a mystery which is hundreds of years old, while facing a formidable foe who threatens her life, and that of her friends. Conquering the fear of supernatural influences, or that she may be psychotic, is the least of her problems when she discovers the truth about the Water Skull.
