The castle is dark and creepy. It’s almost certainly a trap.

But the magicians of the academy will risk everything to save one of their own.

When the head of the Magical Council betrays the magicians, the Sorcerers have more advantage than they deserve.

Isadora and her friends must ride to the rescue, even though they’ll have to face their worst fears. It’s what the good guys do.

Now all they have to do is survive a castle designed to keep everyone who enters… and never let them go.

A good continuation

This is the latest of a series of novellas of Isa and her companions. The short "episode" format of this series is refreshing and easy to finish in one sitting.

ONE INCREDIBLY DELIGHTFUL EXPERIENCE!!!
OMG! Wow! Talk about another amazing installment. No holds barred, no pulling punches, no turning back. If you're looking for an action packed, fast paced, hard hitting, nailbiting, heart pounding, pulse racing, page turning dynamo that's as riveting as it is captivating. Congrats my friends you've found it. All the drama, fear, mystery, danger and suspense increases steadily as the tension spirals while the plot thickens. With twists and turns, ups and downs, unexpected circumstances and unpredictable surprises around every corner make for one thrilling experience. The characters and scenes are written with such realism it's easy to picture each scenario as they play off one another in perfect balance. The characters are complex and believable with such depth and individuality it's easy to relate. The scenes are so graphically detailed and descriptive it really makes the storyline pop. This is one series you do not want to miss. Lucia did a phenomenal job bringing this read to life flawlessly. Fantastic job Lucia, thanks for sharing this little treasure with us.

I have been eagerly awaiting Lucia Ashta’s Magical Arts Academy 10: Spirited Escape and it’s finally here. Well, I’m happy to report that it was worth the wait. This is one heck of a fabulous book. A rescue? A castle “designed to keep everyone who enters… and never let them go”? Pshah. Nothing but a mere hassle for Isadora & Co! Ok, perhaps it’s a bit more of an, umm, problem but don’t lose faith in Isadora and do keep faith that you’ll have one grand time reading about what happens. Another superbly written story. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises - the book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, it is easy to highly recommend. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.

All the Magical Arts Academy group is caught in the dungeon of the castle in an effort to rescue Albacus with no hope of getting out before it’s too late. And each of them were experiencing negative effects from being there. During all the seriousness of their circumstances, Ms Ashta has a way of making it seem comical as she describes each character’s reactions. This was a wonderful read. One that fixed a smile on my face.

Once again Lucia delivers a book full of action and adventure. With the entirety of the Magical Arts Academy (teachers and students) trapped by the enemies spell while attempting a rescue of Albacus. Isa starts to listen to her 'inner voice' but finds herself more and more easily distracted due to the spell. Can they find Albacus and escape the spell before it is too late?

Read Spirited Escape to find out.

In this chapter of the Magical Arts Academy, everyone has been trapped in the dungeon.Hoping against hope, that there is a way out. Isa, Nando, Gertrude, Brave and Sir Lancelot all search the rest of the dungeon looking for Albacus. At first all they find are over a hundred ghost. Do they find him, and if they do, can they free him and themselves.

Depressing & not very hopeful.

The students charge in to save the day after waiting 2 hours with no word from the adults. Not my favorite in the series. Very depressing you'll find out why. SPOILER ALERT: The rescue is a trap. I still don't get why they took the entire school & all the creatures. It makes no sense. Now they are all trapped. And losing their magic plus their minds.

I voluntarily review an ARC.
This is the tenth part of the Magical Arts Academy series, the books should be read in order.
Another masterpiece by Miss Ashta, a fast paced story with lots of dire situations, drama, hopelessness, but also many funny dialogues and thoughts.
The trapped magicians get help from a very unexpected source. Will their efforts be enough? I can't wait for the next part.

Why did it have to end on such a cliffhanger???

I’m just glad I can dive right into the next book because I literally need to know what happens. This books was equal parts serious and hysterical. Isa confusion messed me up so badly that I kept mixing up my own words all while reading it! That’s good writing.

Everyone is stuck in the castle and things look bleak. Isa has to do things she hasn't done before and rely on her instincts in hopes of helping them all get out in this installment of her adventure.

These books where short and fast to read. I started them and couldn't put them down. I didn't get my reviews in because I didn't want to stop. So much goodness on these books. You are going to like every one of these characters.

This book is 9 - 13 of a 13 book series. I'm going to post this review to all 4 since it covers them all.

Well written books and a fun story ruined by being broken up into little pieces. Authors really need to stop wasting their time and our money trying to get us buy books that are not whole.
