"I love you, and you love me too. You just don't remember"

This book is the conclusion of Jameson and Cass story. Separated again, Cass and Jameson have become prisoners and must overcome their horrors or are they doomed forever?

⤷ This book has been such a heartbreaking and beautiful journey! Cass and Jameson have been through so much pain and I'm glad they are finally getting the happiness they deserve!

⤷ The book was well-paced and really well written with action, adventure, humor and heartbreak!

⤷ I love how every character is flawed which is so real and appreciate that!

⤷ THAT ENDING OMG! I'M SO READY FOR MERCY GETTING HER OWN SERIES! I CAN'T WAIT!

"I'm not sure who you are, Cass. But.."
"But what"
"I think I want to know"

These books were a crazy and wild ride. You will not regret reading these books! Can't wait for more!

Thank you, Caroline Peckham, for providing a copy of this book for an honest review! :)

“They can't control our hearts.”

With how hard a certain odious villain tries to keep them forever apart, thank goodness the above quote is so wonderfully true. To say Jameson’s and Cass’s bond is tested quite a bit in this book, would be an understatement. This book runs the gamut of emotion from shock, sorrow, frustration to joy, as Jameson and Cass separately and together endure so much. The fab thing is neither give up and continue to fight both literally and figuratively to survive and truly live.

It’s a hard and turbulent road to Jameson and Cass’s HEA, I just hope the author doesn’t kill them off or have them in a pit somewhere in any book to come.

Selena and Varick make an appearance in this book, and the letter Mercy sends to Varick has further altered my perceptions of her – highlighting that I should never judge a book (a.k.a. Mercy) by its cover. The author is good at adding layers to the characters in this series. The interactions between Colt and Mercy promise some interesting things for her book, and I’m sure The Watchers will continue to cause problems.

I’m very much looking forward to the book about , but I’m guessing it will be a while before it’s out.

The author certainly hasn't lost steam yet, this book was well paced, engaging and had strong characters.

I frowned at myself, trying to work out what was wrong. And with a strange kind of clarity, I realized something was missing. Like a chunk had been carved out of my heart. A hole was left in its absence, crying out for the piece that had once fit into it. --thoughts from Jameson's broken heart

5+ stars!

Caroline never ceases to deliver a novel in which you will be kept on the edge of your seat in equal parts of anticipation, horror, hate, love, frustration and maybe...hopefully...satisfaction. She doesn't hold any punches and isn't afraid of putting our beloved characters through hell and continuous, torturous trials before giving us some reprieve. For a time.... ;)

I really loved this novel as I have come to absolutely adore Cass and Jameson (especially Jameson). They have been through so much together and apart, and their journey back to one another was so tumultuous and yet so satisfyingly beautiful. It was overflowing with Caroline's signature wit, humor, adventure, heartbreak, gory revenge, and ultimately a sense of family, and I loved every word of their adventure. There were so many great Jameson quips and other lovely quotes that I couldn't help highlighting the hell out of them. I am so pleased with the ending for certain members of our gang and anxious to see how others fare as Caroline prepares us for the next chapter centering around Mercy and Colt and the Watchers (which I am SUPER STOKED for!!).

And as sometimes happens while I read, I came across a song that really resonated with me and reminded me so much of Jameson and Cass and their continued heartbreak and never-ending optimism.
Do you feel the same when I'm away from you?
Do you know the line that I'd walk for you?
We could turn around, or we could give it up
But we'll take what comes, take what comes
Oh, the storm is raging against us now
If you're afraid of falling, then don't look down
But we took the step, and we took the leap
And we'll take what comes, take what comes

We're walking the wire, love
We're gonna be higher, up
We're walking the wire, wire, wire

"Walking the Wire" by Imagine Dragons

It is by one of my favorite bands and is an amazing song regardless of whether you read this series or not (which you totally should!!). Definitely recommend both, and I can't wait for more from Caroline <3

My Jameson Fairfax, the most optimistic and hilarious Werewolf :)

My Varick, the still brooding but now more modern Immortal..

My Colt, the hottest serial killer and brooding kidnapper you'll ever meet..

I do not even know what to say anymore. I thought after V Games that this author set the bar so high she could never beat it. But she proved me wrong. I have been a fan of Cass and Jameson since V Games. But knowing this author , I knew if they did get together it will not be easy. I will not give any spoilers, or hints. This book has no need for them. This book is off the charts amazing it's a nail biting , breath holding, EPIC conclusion to a AWESOME series!!! Once you start this book there is no putting it down. It will make you cry, laugh, worry, wonder then your heart will melt. I do not know what more I can see except read this series. You will be reading a series that will stick in your mind and heart long after you close the book.

“Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same” When I was reading this novel, I kept thinking of this quote.

Cass and Jameson are amazing together, they are perfect for each other. I don't even know how to put into words how spectacular, gut-wrenching and heart-breaking their relationship is. Having this season be all about their journey was amazing to read. This novel sucked me in (as have all of Caroline's novels), and my thoughts are consumed with these characters and their fates.

The V-Games and now the Wolf-Games are intense reads. They capture your attention from the first sentence and leave you wanting more and more. I absolutely love these characters. I need more of them already and this season just finished.

This novel was heart-breaking, funny at moments, and as always I love that Caroline never takes the novel where you expect it to go. There are always surprises within the pages. Every character is flawed, everyone is going through something traumatic, but there is so much love and hope within these pages too.

As always I read this installment in one sitting. Once you read the first sentence you are enthralled and have to know what is going to happen next. These novels evoke such extreme emotions from the reader and it is such a pleasure to be on this journey with these characters.

Caroline is one hell of a writer. Her passion, creativity and hard-work is clearly displayed on every single page with every single word. I cannot wait for Season 3 of this series. Caroline is a phenomenal writer, read her novels; you will not regret it.

Every time I open a book I am afraid it will be let down, this goes for Caroline's books as well. But still hasn't happened. This book, like all the others before it, just seem to get better than the last one!

I don't have much to say because I really can't come up with anything else than praising words!

It was interesting to read from the first page till the last one. I love hearing all of their stories and can't wait to get on with Mercy's story, I have grown to love her just as I love Selena and Cass.

This books was captivating, fun and smart. Thank you Caroline for writing this scary and yet amazing world <3

Well I like the ending and how it worked out for most of them. I really thought that someone would die but only the baddies died thankfully. It seems like the world will change. The question is will the paranormal go unchecked? Will other hunters step up and work with the paranormal or against them?

Full Review on my blog!

Wow. I can't even right now. Every book in The Vampire Games is so well written, action packed and fast paced! I'm just blown away by this series; It just keeps getting better. I loved the first five books in the series, but this one just tied up  Season 2 perfectly. I'm soo excited for Season 3 (The Hunter Trials)!

Wolf Games: Severed Fates is the finale in the second season of The Vampire Games and continues the story of Cass and Jameson. It picks up immediately following the events of book 5, Wolf Games: Island of Shade.  I absolutely adore Cass and Jameson. They have been through so much together and apart, and their journey back to one another was a roller-coaster, and what a ride it was! Jameson is by far my favorite character

I love the characters and I love that every season is about different main characters. But I also love that we still get to read in Selena’s and Varick’s perspective because they are still present in the Wolf Games books.

It's going to be torture waiting for the next Season to start, but It'll be worth the wait. Caroline Peckham is brilliant. Such a well written and fast-paced series! I highly recommend it!

Caroline Peckham has done it again! This entire series is amazing, but this latest installment has to be the best yet. I laughed, I cried (more times than I’d like to admit), and I was on the edge of seat throughout the whole book.

It picks up immediately following the events of Island of Shade. Cass & Jameson’s story is completed in this book and what a ride it was! Jameson is by far my favorite character and any scene he is in just jumps right off the page.

Each character is fleshed out well though and have many layers. Those you think are beyond redemption may surprise you.
Baby H is my favorite example of this and I can’t wait to read the next book which tells her story.

This series is so unique. It’s different than any other fantasy series out there. It has romance, humor, action, horror. How could you not love it? I read this book in a little over a day because I simply could not put it down. Every time I thought I got to a good stopping point, something else unexpected happened! The twists and surprises that the author constantly comes up with amazes me. If you like fantasy, this one is a can’t miss!

WOW. Throughout this entire series of the V Games starting with book 1 has so far been one of the best series I have ever read. Severed Fates did not disappoint the reader. The way the author is able to tell the story and follow the story line in amazing. This is by far one of most favorite so far. Caroline Peckham has a way of keeping her readers on the edge of their seat not wanting to put the book down until they are finished reading it. The way she leaves the ending is great because you know that she is going to continue writing. I am eagerly awaiting the next book already as I would love to see what happens to Mercy and Colt, their story should be just as great as Selenas/Varicks and Jameson/Cass. I love how the author relates all characters together. I would like to see where the Vampire Cure and Wolf Obedience Cure lead too as well as how the immortals are doing. If I could give this book 10 stars I would. I wonder whats going to happen to Rockely Jones and Silas. Keep up the AMAZING writing Caroline Peckham you definitely have a fan of your writing and I will always buy your books when they hit the shelves.

Original review

This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Caroline Peckham!

Wolf Games: Severed Fates
is the finale in the second season of The Vampire Games and continues the story of Cass and Jameson.

Wolf Games: Severed Fates was another amazing sequel and I cannot get enough of Caroline Peckham’s world and characters. Every book in The Vampire Games is so well written, action packed and fast paced!

It’s always so nice to come back to this world because I love the characters and I love that every season is about different main characters. The V Games books are about Selena and Varick and the Wolf Games are about Cass and Jameson. I also love that we still read in Selena’s and Varick’s perspective because they are still present in the Wolf Games books. I think that this is such an amazing idea of Caroline because it’s always sad to say goodbye to some of your favourite characters.

As I mentioned above, there are multiple perspectives which I really enjoy because you get to know the story even better than just from one perspective. You get to know everyone’s thoughts and feelings and because of that you can more easily relate to the characters or know why they did the things they have done.

Cass and Jameson are definitely one of my favourite bookish couples because they’re so hilarious and perfect. I really loved how Wolf Games: Severed Fates ended because Cass and Jameson deserve it!

I cannot wait for the third season of The Vampire Games: The Hunter Trials!

This was exactly what I needed in my life right now. I LOVED how this wrapped up The Wolf Games part of the series. All my favorite characters from both series were back, and it was epic. The ending of the previous book had me so stressed out--I just did not know how things could be made right. This book kept me on the edge of my seat, and I loved where it ended up. And I am so freaking excited to continue Mercy's story in the next part of the series. I just cannot get enough of this world.

“I frowned at myself, trying to work out what was wrong. And with a strange kind of clarity, I realised something was missing. Like a chunk had been carved out of my heart. A hole was left in its absence, crying out for the piece that had once fit into it.” - Jameson

Having had his memory wiped clean on the pretext that his time during the V Games on Raskdød was too traumatic, Jameson is blissfully unaware of the extent of Ulvic’s betrayal. Gone are his memories of Cass, his reunion with his old friend Varick as well as the death of half his pack.

Meanwhile Cass, trapped under the werewolf obedience curse and the knowledge that Silas intends to swap her baby for his own daughter, can only stare numbly ahead as she’s transferred to another Institute in England. On route, however, they are attacked by Rockley Jones and his men and Silas is forced to play along with Rockley’s sadistic plans for Cass in order to buy them time.

Not content with repeatedly torturing her, Rockley Jones forces Cass to participate in a new twisted version of the V Games. Fearful for the safety of her child, Cass bravely endures everything Rockley throws at her. Her courage and optimism fails her, however, when she sees Jameson after one of the Trials and realises he has no memory of her.

“I love you, and you love me too. You just don’t remember.” - Cass

Just as her situation seems hopeless, Silas tells Cass that he has been on her side all along and that using her baby to bring Emma back had simply been a ploy to buy them time with Rockley. He has sent word to Selena and Varick to procure the cure to the Werewolf Obedience curse at one of his other institutes and promises to reinstate Jamesons memories. The question is, can Silas be trusted or are Selena and Varick walking into a trap?

Severed Ties is the conclusion to Cass and Jameson’s story and what an epic journey it’s been! From the moment that Jameson uttered these words, no couple has belonged together more; “You look like a firefly, the first light I’ve seen in all this Godforsaken darkness.”

Despite Ulvic’s evil machinations and everything the Helsings and Rockley Jones have thrown at them, their love for each other gave them the strength to overcome every obstacles and adversaries who came their way.

“Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.” - Cass

As with the other books, Severed Ties was told by the perspectives of Cass, Jameson, Silas, Varick, Selena and Mercy. The book was fast paced, gripping with lots of twists and suspense that made it really hard to put down. Cass’ torture scenes were particularly hard to read.

Mercy’s letter to Varick was heartbreaking, in fact her whole journey throughout the series has been a revelation to read. We are given more insight into Colt’s past and coupled with the Oracle’s prophecy, I’m looking forward to reading their story in the Hunter Trials spin off.

The Watchers were an interesting addition to the series. Mortifer’s ominous prediction regarding Varian ensures that we probably haven’t heard the last from Cass and Jameson and I couldn’t be happier.

Caroline has really outdone herself with this trilogy and has been one of my favourite discoveries of 2018. I highly recommend this series for fans of paranormal/urban fantasy.

Note: I received a copy of this book from the author and I voluntarily give this review.

Caroline has done such a good job with this series and Jameson Fairfax is a character to be remembered and one of my favorite characters, he is the best.

Wolf Games: Severed Fates is the sixth book in the series but the concluding book in the Cassie and Jameson trilogy and it was excellent. Caroline destroyed me with Wolf Games: Island of Shade. I know that in this series things do not go right for the characters I love but things were really bad in Shade. I was on the edge all the time and bad things just kept happening, at the ending I saw no hope, there was no way Caroline could fix this situation then came Severed Fates.

Severed Fates is the book I needed after Island of Shade. While things were bad for Cassie and Jameson there was some hope there too and that's all I ask is for a little hope in a book. Jameson and Cass were in a whole lot of trouble and of course thing get really interesting when you through these couples together. Past secrets come to light, an evil plot is uncovered, torture, maiming, people die, shit gets blown-up, you know the good stuff. Severed Fates was never boring, I was kept on the edge of my seat with all the dastardly stuff going on and with the drama that is Cassie and Jameson.

As with the rest of the series Severed Fates is told from multiple perspectives. Of course Cassie and Jameson are the main povs but we get to hear from a lot of the other characters and that adds to the story. I got more insight into the story and the people. I manage to start caring for a character that I had conflicting feelings about who had appeared in the previous book. This series takes the stories about supernaturals and turn it on its head.

I enjoyed every moment of Wolf Games: Severed Fates. I was rapt with interest during the entire book. I rooted for James and Cass to have their happy ending and I have to say that I am happy with the ending. It was a wild and crazy ride that had a bit of a shocking ending. Since the V Games series is set up in a set of three, while all books are connected and under one series, every three books is specifically dedicated to a couple. The first trilogy in the series was defecated to Selena and Varick, this trilogy to Cassie and Jameson and the next trilogy will center on the hunters and I can't wait.

Wolf Games Severed Fates is the 6th book in the V Games series.
it contains Vampires, Werewolves, and a Hybrid (Werewolf/ Vampire) and a few other unknown creatures. It is full of action and plenty of survival skills that Cassie has acquired since her very first time in the beginning of the V Games...
An introduction to the Characters...
Cassie:.. once was a human then after the first V Game she was turned into a Vampire to save her life...
Jameson:.. once human and a Pirate.. Friend to Verick of who'm is a Vampire and was a Human and Pirate and Jameson Captain too..
Verick:.. the Vampire who helped Selina in the first V Games.. he also fell in love with Selina.. Verick was also human too he was a Captain of a Pirates ship... and best friend to Jameson..
Selena:.. was once human now Vampire but can walk in the light along with Verick.. from the help from her dad. Selina was also in the V Games along with Cassie and that is where they became the best of friends..
If you want to know more about this awesome epic book you first need to read it.. you will read about lots of action, revealed secrets, and about surprises .. I loved reading this book.. Mrs Peckham always has a way of surprising her readers.. I can't wait to see what happens in the next installment of the V Games book #7...

Okay, where to begin?! I received an advanced copy of this book. With that being said here we go.

This book took me a tad longer to read but only because of the holidays coming up. This story is the conclusion of Cass and Jameson. And let me start out by saying WOW!! Caroline has absolutely done it again! This story made you feel just about every emotion you could possibly feel. It had me happy, teary eyes, had me laughing out loud, gasping at the twists and turns they faced. Absolutely loved it. From page one I was just sucked right into the story. Picturing myself right there along the way. Absolutely love these two together. As this season comes to a close it opens up many more possibilities and I can’t wait to read the next books to come.

I have found myself getting bored of the supernatural world. Most books are all the same. But Caroline Peckham has a way of writing that just completely sucks you in. She is an incredible author and I will read her books as long as she keeps writing. With that being said I definitely recommend this novel as well as the ones before it and the ones that will come after it because there will be many many more novels from her.

5 🌟’s all the way!!

Wolf Games: Severed Fates (The Vampire Games Book 6)

OMG 😮!!!! This was my favorite book with Cass and James, it kept me on my toes, I had to read it twice because I read it so fast the 1st time and I wanted to savor it the 2nd time!!!!!
I don’t want to give to much information away, but I am so happy that the gang got back together in the end and I especially loved ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ the ending!!!!!

I cannot wait for the Hunter trials to come out!!!

“ I received an advanced copy of this book and VOLUNTARILY decided to review it” normally I am the 1st to read and review the book, but I had surgery last week and it kept me from being able to read anything... but yesterday when I was able to read I bought the book and read it and just finished rereading it!!!! Absolutely perfection!!!!!

I have purchased every one of Caroline Peckham‘ ebooks even though I get her books, I love 💕 her books that much!!

This is my honest opinion and I hope you will enjoy and love this book as much as I have...

I definitely recommend this series!!!

Judgement Day

A fitting conclusion to a great trilogy and parts of the story were a surprise as I thought Mercy would find salvation but maybe it is still coming. Some of the evil men escape justice, like cock roaches they survive anything but others finally get what they deserve. Alliances are formed and together they rise up to fight for their pack. Your friends are the family you choose for yourself, not blood by birth but those who have your back and never give upon you. Thus series is about love, survival, resilience and finding friendship through adversity and tragedy. Redemption is possible if you choose to leave the past behind and fught for what's right and one person can make all the difference in a world where loyalty and freedom are taken away. The ending tied up all the loose threads nicely and I want to read the next series as this one has been so captivating.

I received an ARC and here is my honest review.

AWESOME!!!

As usual Caroline didn't disappoint. This book is the conclusion of Jameson and Cass story. These two have gone through some trying times and still found the strength and courage to keep going, not accepting anything less that what their hearts' desire. At times I wanted to come through the pages of this book and do some major damage to a couple of the characters (I'm not a violent person, but they tried my patience). Conversely, I was pleasantly surprised with the courage and humanity of others. That's a testament of how great Caroline Peckham writing really is and how one can get completely immersed in the story line and momentarily forget where fiction and reality lies.
I am glad there is more to come and I'm sure I won't be disappointed. This book and all of the other five in the series are unbelievably awesome!!

Talk about an overhaul of emotions!!!! This book was the perfect finale. Caroline has created a world where readers, like my self are in immediately sucked in. I love all the new characters/creatures she has brought in. It has made the book so much more enticing. The attention to detail has made me feel like I was there. Cass and Jameson’s story is such an explosion(literally ;) ) and I love how there is so much more room for growth with new/old characters. This means more books and I am 100% ok with with that! Though I wouldn’t mind more Jameson. Hats off to another great book! I can’t wait for more!!!

What an awesome ending to The Wolf Games trilogy! It was everything I was expecting, and more. I love the fact Selena and Varick made an appearance. Silas really freaking surprised me. Jameson and Cass got the ending the ending they deserved, but I have a feeling we aren't done seeing them yet. There is so much going on, and I cannot wait for Ms.Peckham to share everything with us. I am more than ready for Mercy's story. She was a character I really hated in the beginning, but I love how she has grown. I know her story is going to kick butt. So, don't wait, get Severed Fates and start reading. I know you'll love it as much as I did. The hard part will be waiting for book 7!
