Dnf
As the title says I didn’t finish this book. I did not like either character and the storyline was really rushed and full of holes.

The H, who is crippled due to an accident years ago with the h, takes his super serum he made in his lab and becomes hot and hulked out and no longer crippled. He stalks the object of his unrequited love into a club where she not only doesn’t recognize him, but she sleeps with him back in a broom closet after laying eyes on him. It was a very hot sex scene, but then after that things fell apart. He meets up with her for lunch the next day, pretending to still be crippled, saying he has to fake his limp, and she doesn’t recognize him, for the second time. Huh?
It’s stated that these two have known each other for YEARS. Have lunch almost every single day. And she doesn’t realize it’s him. Wants nothing to do with him when he’s a cripple but will bend over for a super hot stranger in a nightclub, no rubber. What??
She tells him she slept with someone in the club last night, and he gets pissed. What’s he pissed about you ask? He’s pissed she slept with someone at the club. Even though it was him. Then he’s pissed when she turns him down for a dinner date. Even though right after he banged her out in the nightclub, he told her he’d find her again the next night for another liaison.
So while pretending to be crippled again during lunch, he’s pissed that she won’t see him again as a cripple. Even though it’s him she actually has plans with. The crippled-now-not-crippled H who looks the same but she doesn’t recognize him. See where I’m going with this?
The h is a washed out 30ish year old who doesn’t have a job and is hitting up nightclubs looking for some d1ck but ignoring her “best friend” who is in love with her. She struck me as dumb and shallow and I did not enjoy reading about her. The H was literally one of those guys who, instead of realizing his worth as the person he truly is, despite his handicap, decides to change himself to get the h’s attention. He gets it, but now he’s upset. I hated this book and I didn’t even get halfway through.

Insatiable lived up to its title. Super sexy and HAWT read. I’m never disappointed in the author’s books. This storyline was so unique plus fast paced and action packed.

Almost like Jekyll and Hyde
This was an interesting story to say the least, this new to me author took me for a ride with this book, while Insatiable is labeled a dark Romance it didn't feel as such, more of an love drunk alpha on steroids.
I recommend this unique read, it's short and perfect for a book hangover. My only reason for a lack of star is the female MC shows a certain attitude I disliked however it didn't take from the story.

First off this is the first book I have read from this author and after this book, I will totally will start stalking her for other books. The story is about Daniel who was injured dying a car accident when he was a teenager, he’s been in love with Briarlee since he was a teenager. She was also in the car accident that left him severely damaged from his leg. We learned he is a scientist trying to find a new medication that will help him recover from his disability and become normal. This story is fast paced but so good I enjoyed it so much the sex scenes were super hot 🔥😏 I loved the flow of the story, I enjoyed how you got information about the characters back story, the writing is really good. Can’t wait to read more books from this author.

This is a tremendously inventive story, like very little I've read before and I read a lot of fairytale retellings. This story is unique. The author has clearly put a huge amount of research into the story and it shows in the complete confidence of Daniel's perspective as a biological researcher, without ever feeling intrusive or heavy-handed. Briarlee started as a somewhat unlikeable character: shallow and selfish. I loved that she grows in the course of the story to complement her soul-mate and find her HEA.
The ending I did not see coming, as a Jekyll and Hyde retelling morphed into urban legend. It was very clever and I laughed through the epilogue.
Very well done and highly recommended.

This is the story that Robert Louis Stevenson would never have written. But that doesn't stop Loki Renard. She will write all the filth and hottnes and keep you coming back for more.
Daniel and Briarlee have been best friends forever. Then there was an accident. Daniel was left with serious injuries and Briar was left with crippling guilt. When Daniel creates a treatment to help heal the damage leftover from his accident, it turns out he created a modern day Mr. Hyde formula.
Seriously, there is a lot of filthy sex going on in this, and in the best ways. There's also an interesting love story. It's not quite as dark as some of Loki Renard's other books, and it has a good dash of funny.

Insatiable, is one dark and weird story. With an unexpected plot, and a new one for me, it was an hot and enjoyable read.
Fast-paced romance story, filled with action and twists.

This book was weird. The heroine wasn’t likeable at all. The fact that she wasn’t interested in the hero until he took a drug that changed his body so much he was unrecognisable did not endear her to me either. Imagine if it was the other way around - heroine pining over the hero who pitied her for it, but she didn’t interest him until she took a drug that made her lose weight, change her facial features, give her huge boobs and long sexy legs. Then he couldn’t get enough of her. Yeah.
Suffice to say it wasn’t what I expected and wasn’t to my taste.

4.5 STARS for Insatiable
Let’s start by saying that the tile of this book says it all! This story is INSATIABLE!
WOW!!!
So far with all of the books I’ve read by Loki Renard, I have come to the conclusion that it is best to go in blind. The story unfolds so naturally and intensely that you need to just experience it.
Briarlee takes everything in life for granted. Her health, her friendships, and her work (or lack there of). She’s bored, and is looking for something meaningful to fill the emptiness of her existence.
Daniel is sweet, caring and dutiful. Beyond all that he is brilliant. He has the power to make changes to the detriment of humankind and Daniel has his eye on the prize!
This story isn’t what I expected at all, and right from the beginning it is set up so that the reader experiences what Briarlee and Daniel feel and desire. They are on an unknown collision course and to say too much would reveal what this story is really about. So I won’t spoil it, but I will say the opening chapter is misleading in such a good way! I loved how the author sets the scene so that the reader gets a false sense of Briarlee and what is really happening in the story! It was so exciting to see how this story unfolded. While Briarlee is bratty, it works and she is actually an interesting character. Daniel’s motives are always clear and consistent and I love how persistent he is to get what he wants.
The writing is on fire, the chemistry between the characters is so hawt and intense and the story overall was such a satisfying read! The undertones of this story had the makings of Alphas and Omegas and I LOVED IT! It’s the type of story that I could envision a spin-off book! Whatever the case Renard knows how to write insatiably hawt Alphas!

While i enjoyed reading this newest novel by the author, i found it not to be the best of her work really. Nearer to the latter end of the book it became just a bit too funny/implausible for me and that just ruined it for me. It reminded me of one of her previous book so i kept comparing both male leads then too.
Gist of the story is that our MC Danny had an accident in his teens which leads him into becoming a research scientist, he develops a drug that when tested on as regain full mobility in limbs but also has a side effect that could be potentially dangerous. Unfortunately when his team is rejected from further development he goes the next step and tries it on himself, this pushes him into the Hyde character of himself. This Hyde side of himself is Uber masculine and sexual and he wants only one woman, the woman who caused him to be 'crippled ' in the first place..his friend and the main F character Briarlee.
Brairlee is really not the strongest of female character, she comes across as being wishy-washy until the very end. Her ability to literally be a club hopping female with no real ambition is staggering, however the H is over his head for her, and when his trial puts her front and center literally , she comes more time than rain.
All in all this was not a dark romance for me, highly erotic yes, but not dark. Fun and funny with a 3 star for me.

Briarlee and Daniel have been friends for 15yrs. Daniel is a brilliant scientist that believes he has the drug that will help those that are paralyzed or limp. The drug is working well on rats but the company is not willing to give it a try. So Daniel takes matters into his own hands. Briar is getting older but just wants to find a “hook up” for now. She isn’t looking for something permanent, till HIM. He is sexy and hot and dominate. But is that all she wants?
When I first read about what Daniel had I started to think, Jekyll and Hyde. BINGO! The formula he has created makes him a sex machine. That’s right! This man I Hot and Dominate and knows how to work what he has. I have to say I love the power that he exudes.

Unusual Interesting read, very original…
Briarlee and Daniel have been friends and known each other for over fifteen years and in that time, they had encountered more than many in a full lifetime. Daniel had been injured on a night when Briarlee had a night out drinking, whilst on the way home their car had been in an accident and Daniel had been badly injured.
Daniel is a scientist that has been developing a cure to enable him to overcome his physical disabilities however as soon as take it he realises that it’s side effect also effects his sexual urges as well. Then the military decide that they are going to control both the scientist and also control the cure which they believed would have military uses.
However, Briarlee was no shrinking violet and she was determined that she was going to make sure that both she and Daniel remained together until her very last breath and no-one not even the military would keep them apart.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

When Briarlee calls her friend for a ride because she was drunk, she started what will become a chemically adjusted whirlwind of sex and desire. Daniel, a scientist now, developes Regenermax, but cannot get it approved for human trial. Dan becomes his own test subject and nothing is the same after that. I enjoyed how overwhelmed Briar was when she meets and has quick, very hot sex with a stranger. This is unlike Briar, but her obsession with and instant surrender to this man has started a frequent coupling with this beastial sex fiend. As things get hotter and it doesn't look like the frequent sexual will end, Briarlee learns that she is never going to be parted from this man. Nothing about her life will ever be the same. I loved this story and all it's twists and turns. Sex was definitely hot and often, and like Briar, I hoped it would continue forlever too. I thought it was a unique story and I hope to see more of this type from Loki Renard. This is the type of story that I would look forward to reading more about. A quick but hot and twisted dark romance.

Insatiable follows the reluctant mad scientist super hero trope and lucky for Daniel Knight, our resident hero, one of the superpowers gained is mad sexual prowess and stamina. In order to truly enjoy this book, first, you’ll have to suspend disbelief and second, you’ll have to go along with the chance encounters that not even Briarlee, our main female character, seems to question. I had fun reading this and the characters were engaging. We follow a lab nerd with a disability turned sexual dynamo/hunk, thanks to a formula he created. The object of his desire is a woman who has lost her direction in life and is looking for the perfect guy but is always falling for the cad. When these two worlds collide outside of friendship, that’s when the fireworks explode. While Superman is mentioned as having possible similarities to Dr. Knight, I would say he is more along the lines of the Incredible Hulk. I was pleasantly surprised by the unexpected storyline and plot twists.

Briarlee is a brat who never respected rules or authority and she strung Daniel along all the years they had been friends always taking him for granted..but when Daniel starts taking his own treatment because he is determined to prove to his idiot boss that it works he starts to turn into something more primal but that's just what Briarlee needs...she ends up finally realizing just how bad she had been taking Daniel for granted and when he gets taken away from her she is willing to tear the world apart to get him back..

Daniel and Briarlee
This was cool because it was different. Daniel is the brilliant scientist who is secretly in love with his best friend Briarlee. They have been friends since they were kids. She keeps him in the friend zone though knowing how he feels. So how does this change? Well he is developing a serum designed to repair and heal damage to the body. It also enhances the human body too. Oh I forgot to mention he has an injury from long ago that has affected his life. So this scientific work is personal for him as well. Does he become a “lab rat” for his own experiments? Yes. Will he make Briarlee fall for him? Definitely. Read through until the conclusion, and you will feel the way I do, “it’s cool because it’s different.”

A great story that will keep your focus! What a great combination of literary elements and detailed story points! I loved the obvious homage to Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde almost as much as I loved Daniel's underdog love story. Briarlee was a great character, beautiful and broken on the inside, where Daniel was her opposite. The story is wicked hot, super sexy and all those scenes are descriptively detailed, but none of them seemed forced...like in a literary sense anyway, lol. I just loved this book, from the crazy smart scientist to the government conspiracy to the twist at the end that kind of calls to mind some kind of primitive X-Men scenario. Great job, I couldn't put it down!

I just loved this story! For me I found many elements that reminded me of some of the darker/monster classics, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Frankenstien, King Kong and Faye Wray and Beauty and the Beast, just in a much hotter sexier version! HOT! We meet two pleasantly appealing people, find out a little bit about their history and their current lives, and then, WOW, things get HOT – seductively, salaciously sizzling. I also found this book fascinatingly enticing and deliciously dirty. All this torridness is wrapped around an exciting story filled with love, a scientific discovery, mystery, and government intervention.
I truly think this book is worth more than the 5 stars I was able to give it, so read it for yourself and enjoy.

I no idea what to expect reading this book. It’s a book by Loki Renard which means it’s guaranteed to generate interest! Well what a treat! Could not put this book down, not even to eat my dinner! So many unexpected twists and turns it will make you dizzy with need to carry on, much like the main character!! I really hope there is a second book! Need to know what else happens with Daniel and Briar!

Just WOW!!! I loved it , it was so different and not what you expect Daniel is one fierce possessive Dominant beast and do you run or stay and he wants Briarlee with everything he has and their is no stopping him turning her life into a complete whirl wing and it was so deliciously hot, read the title yes exactly.
This was fast paced action packed and and I loved the whole plot of the story and the characters, you get it all passion, control, humor and it was very addicting.

Wow! This is my first book by this author, but it definitely won’t be my last.
I’m not gonna give away any detail, because I think this was amazing as a completely blind read.
I really didn’t know what to expect, and I was pleasantly surprised. It’s hot, fast-paced, and it’s one of those books that makes you wonder: what if? It might seem implausible to some, but in the world we live in, you really never know.

Holy S**T! It was HAWT!!! First and foremost, I am a Loki Renard virgin. Yep! She popped that cherry with this book. She has been on my radar, but I am glad I pulled the trigger with this. Holy Smokes! I was in deep just from the first chapter. Loki, you are naughty! I stayed up well past my bedtime reading this gem. Will definitely be following and catching up on my TBR with Ms. Renard. Bravo!!!

Daniel developed a serium the military wants. He decided that he was going to run. Brairlee goes with him to the woods. She didn't believe him until. This isn't a usual Loki Regard story, but a very loving tale of longing for each other above all else. It is for adults only, but it is something more than just sex. It is for the ❤. Excellent story. This story...it starts out very promising and with a title like that...it sets the bar high. Even though I liked the way it starts, I just couldn't get into the whole nerd turning alpha thing. The story centers around a couple who are friends but the H (a nerdy scientist) has been in love with the h for years. She just sees him as a friend. Due to experimenting on himself, he turns into a Jason Momoa type guy. He seeks out the h while she is out with friends and has hot sex with her while she doesn't recognize him. So I can still go with the flow but the story evolves to a standard military conspiracy plot line which is where you loose me.
If you don't mind this type of plot, it's short, hot and well written.

This is a rather unusual fast paced, hot and heavy romance.
I love the unusual nature of the storyline and how dark it gets at times.
I wasnt keen on Briarlee as a person to start off with but she grew on me but Daniel was an awesome character!!!
