Alex grew up in Michigan and lives in the middle of the ‘mitten.’ He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business degree from Detroit College of Business, before starting his professional career. He has worked in the areas of Education and Business; currently, he is a self-employed, independent contractor.
Alex has engaged in many activities in his lifetime, including baseball, basketball, golf, hockey, downhill skiing, and wood working. Most recently, he began playing the harmonica. As a devoted fan of the Detroit Lions, he never misses a game and, more importantly, never gives up on the team during a difficult season.
Alex’s creative nature led him to begin a career writing shorter novels in the thriller genre. He enjoys the writing process; creating characters that connect with readers. He envisions his readers becoming personally vested in the characters, eager to learn more about them.
The premise of this story reminded me of the American tv show called Person of Interest with that vigilante justice theme. However, it didn't feel as heavy as the show because the main character in this story has a sense of humor despite his heartbreaking loss. He also drives an AWESOME muscle car!
An easy book to read but so very predictable. S this is his first book I might have overlooked the simplicity of it, but since I haven’t read any of his other books I can’t be sure if they are better or not. Give it a try.
The main hero of the story is a guy like all the other heroes. Big and muscular and every woman is attracted to him. For us guys, who cares. I just want a good action story with a good plot and less of the woman wanting the guy or the guy wanting the girl.
Imagine this -- an action book without foul language or sex or innuendos. A clean book with a good storyline. I liked this book and will be reading more by this author. I am pleased to find such a quick and good read.
