Total Recall meets Inception in this Science Fiction Romance where dreams and technology collide.

Damion Scole has an obsession and it's one that just might get him killed.

He spends his free time hooking into VRR's: Virtual Reality Reads which replaced e-readers almost thirty years ago.

When his connection sells him a new vid, Damion slips into the virtual world and watches a grim scene unfold. The main character is running for her life: a girl with bright blonde hair, deep amber eyes, and a mission to take down the biggest biotech company in the world.

After a fire in the book makes the news headlines the next morning, he realizes something is very wrong. Convinced what he's watching is in real time, and the mysterious girl is in real peril, he begins a desperate search through the city to find her.

What he discovers will force him to leave his virtual world of safety to save his real one.

mmmmmmm
besties ima be honest
This was very meh
I don’t know how else to describe it
The end was rushed and I think the plot should be elaborated on more
The romance…what da heck was that
I hate instalove but this was just…i was like are you kidding me rn
The connection between them was bland
He’s had three “serious” relationships in like 2 years…
Nah this book wasn’t for me
I think the plot was great it just could have been better…the idea was there it just….didnt deliver like I wanted it to
This should have been a series, not a standalone

This is just incredible and it grabbed me from the very start! It’s well written and I easily fell into this amazing VRR world that the author has built! There’s action, there’s drama, there’s excitement and there’s danger but oh what a read and I really cannot wait to read the next book!

I really liked the portrayal of how society might come to one day be and found the story very interesting. A few hints of the importance of balancing technological opportunity with what individuals really need while keeping in check the drive for profit to hurt individuals and society. I think more of that is focused on the individual recognizing that what is easier or desirable for them isn't really good for them long term. While that is the basis for the story plot elements and storyline roughly follow from that the way it is told makes that disappear into the background as you are drawn into the characters lives.

Damion Scole is obsessed with VRR's (Virtual Reality Reads) which replaced e-readers decades ago. While Damion is watching a new video he witnesses a scene where a blond girl with amber eyes named Ivy is running for her life. Damion is convinced what he is watching is for real and Damion is willing to rescue Ivy from the danger she faces. As Damion and his friend JIms digs deeper into the mystery, they discover that the virtual world they thought was safe is more intertwined with reality than they ever imagined. Damion must find out if Ivy is real or is she an image of the virtual world. I really enjoyed this fascinating young adult science fiction romance novel.

Book 1 in the Dreamscapes series

Reality vs Virtual Reality

This was a quick read, and I love the characters. It's based around Virtual Reality gaming. I'm not a gamer or a VR gamer, but I thoroughly enjoyed this book!

"An Escape"...Deep Connection...Protective Instinct...

"Anyone who helps me is putting their life at risk. I know it's too much to ask of anyone, but if I fail my mission, all of humanity will be in danger."
"I'm with you, today, and every day after."
"I'll always come for you."
"We're in this together."

The story of Damien and Ivy. The year is 2048 and the world is turn on to Virtual Reality Read (VRR). After Gia (girlfriend of Damien) die, Damien spend a lot of time meshing (VRR). He love buying illegal VRR. One he buy out him is the real world were he must save Ivy and the world. Can he do it? Great story start off slow but it pick up

I loved this new direction Eliza Tilton with this series. Very different from her other work but just as good. I found it easy to believe this futuristic setting could come true. Lots of action and excitement packed into the pages. Get ready for a whole new type of adventure!

It was a really nice and short reading. The story-telling is easy and pretty basic. Even though it shows the bad side of technology and how humanity could become one day, some parts of the story were pretty lame.

I really liked this book and it was a quick and easy read. It was very predictable though but i still loved it. You get very attached to the characters quickly and I think that’s what makes the book good !!

It was good world building not to complicated . I still feel like the sub plot love was a bit rushed. You couldn’t quite understand why they were made for each other etc. The writing was interesting and easy to read . 3.75 tho

Enjoyable

Not my usual genre and was surprised how much I enjoyed it. This was a quick and easy read.
Loved the characters, especially the main. I wish there was more to their story (why they were matched, etc)
I think I will be reading the next in series.

This was a book I was surprised I liked this book, I normally hate technological and dystopian fiction books but this wasn't so bad I probably wouldn't read again though

I really liked the premise of this book - real life intertwined with tech is my favorite form of science fiction - but the writing needs help. There were many proofreading and consistency errors that made it difficult to really sink into the story.
