What a hoot! Rating: clean, short [3-chapters plus 3-short vignettes] that were such fun. Our author threw in a few twists and turns and created a whole ‘nother story. I certainly enjoyed this new twist that involved the family Bennet and their connections to Mrs. Gardiner. That was a complete surprise. OMG!! I so did not see that coming… nor did Caroline Bingley. LOL! Delightful and the three vignettes that followed were so cute.

I kinda loved this short story and three vignettes. The premise is so different. Often, I wish a short story was developed into a full-length novel. This is one of them. Alas, then it wouldn’t be a short story. I’m reminded of the following:
"I should like balls infinitely better," she replied, "if they were carried on in a different manner; but there is something insufferably tedious in the usual process of such a meeting. It would surely be much more rational if conversation instead of dancing were made the order of the day."
"Much more rational, my dear Caroline, I dare say, but it would not be near so much like a ball."—Pride and Prejudice, Jane Austen
This is a fun short 3 chapter Pride & Prejudice variation. One small change of family origin gives the canon story a much different spin. It certainly takes the standard story and turns it on its head! I can't say much more without spoiling the story :)
