In this final installment, Jackson is fighting for his life. So many lies and secrets are revealed. Jackson seems to still be on the same path of destruction. Andre ends up being there for Summer when she goes through a traumatic experience. Lives are lost and death is in the air. Through all the drama and unexpected deaths, will Summer and Andre finally get the ultimate chance to really love each other? Or, will there be too much damage done to make amends?
I was so engrossed in this second installment. It literally had me cursing Jackson, Camille, Jonas, Jerrod and Lauren trifling behind out. Jackson created a mockery out of the Church and his wife as well as his daughter . He had to learn the hard way about playing with God. Karma came directly for him and sadly through those he claimed to love. Sheryl and Summer had suffered tremendously behind all the dirt Jackson had done. Jonas was just as evil and his hands was just as filthy as Jackson. Camille nasty behind was hiding a deadly secret, Lauren was scandalous and end up paying for it, Guilt ate at Jerrod which caused him to take the cowards way out. Andre was trying his best to let go and let God but as hard as it was. He knew in his heart he could not hurt Summer no more than she was already hurting.
THIS JUST GOES TO SHOW FOR EVERY ACTION WILL BE A REACTION .. EVERYTHING JACKSON DID CAUSED A BAD REACTION FOR EVERYBODY IN HIS LYFE I TRULY DISLIKE JONAS AND ALL THAT HE DID IT WAS SOOOOOOOO UNCALLED FOR... IT WAS AT MOMENTS I FOUND MYSELF NOT LIKING SUMMER ITS LIKE SHE STARTED TO ACT LIKE SHE WAS THE ONLY PERSON IN THIS WORLD WITH FEELINGS WHEN THINGS GOT TUFF SHE KEPT PUSHING DRE AWAY HE WAS TRULY THE ONE FOR HER HE NEVER LET HER PUSH HIM AWAY FOR GOOD... LAUREN, JERROD & CAMILLE I'VE NO COMMENT AT ALL....
Wolf in sheep clothing. This her is a real take of the church in most cases. Jackson definitely did a number on the community there is no way for it to said. Th devil has no respect of person this only what he can destroy. Stay true to the word Jesus never leads you wrong
Oh my God what a good read. Enjoy it. Fake Pastor Jackson loses every single thing., His church, wife and even his own life. His only daughter forsake him. Andre whom he hated become his son in law. Andre have help him save his daughter life. So much drama and suspense... Love it K Blaze
Pastor learned too late the error of his sinful ways. He caused so much pain and death to those around him. This book just didn't do it for me. The pastor hardly stepped foot inside of church or did any work pastors usually do so I don't know how he had a congregation. Just wasn't realistic to me.
There are so many wolves in sheep clothing. One must learn that you can’t play with God. Pastor Jackson was a hot mess, had people following him and doing crooked things. Jackson wanted so much power that he lost focus on God. I’m happy for Summer and Andre, even though Jackson did not want them together. A person can’t mess up God’s plan. Jackson got what he deserved.
Although this book was about a crooked preacher it was hard to read prayers, scriptures and hymns while also digesting murders DRUgs and sexual encounters. I'm ok with the predictAble ending but too wordy.
Great book!! This book had some many twist and turns. God is always the answer. Its nothing to big for God. Always keep God first and let him lead you..
3.5 (overall score for the series) The story of Paster Jackson Jones definitely lived up to the book's title. He was scandalous and held many secrets all while using the bible to keep his flock in line and blind to his unsavory dealings. The story flowed quickly and well. The characters were developed and the content dramatic with a jaw-dropping moment or two. Can we say the Pastor's wife and her final scene? Now what didn't work was the relationship between Summer and Andre. It didn't quite gel. It wasn't written as forbidden as I would have thought. We are told it is, but they spent quite a bit of time apart that I didn't see any grand love or chemistry. I recommend this anyone wanting a scandalous read.
This conclusion was everything. Unassigned when the people who do the dirt was gotten but I wish it would have been a different way. I cried laughed and yelled all while reading this book.
