Moonstuck: Trilogy

Rate this book
For the first time, all three books in the Moonstruck Trilogy are available in one book. The Beginning - Bk 1 What do you do when everything is taken from you, all that you own, all that you are? Do you roll over and play dead? Or do you fight? I have no memory of my life before, no childhood or family. I woke in pain and it forged me into what I am now. But I managed to escape and have found people to help me. Can I trust them or is it too good to be true. Can I really believe the fantastical things they say are true? Do I really have the power now to take revenge on the people that took everything from me? Awakening - Bk 2 So turns out I'm a little different. It's not just the memory loss that's created the new me. There are some physical changes as well. Now I'm a freak among freaks. What the hell am I gonna do next? Emma doesn’t remember who she was. Only what came after she woke up in some hell-hole where they conducted experiments on her. She managed to escape and found Gabe and his family. They helped her, took her in, did way more for her than anyone could expect. But they were hiding something from her and now she knows. Emma has been changed. Now, she's not part of the shifter world, but not human either. With no memory of what she was before, there's no option but to go forward, learn about her new body and deal with the unhappy locals along the way. With Gabe's support, Emma is determined to find some answers and reclaim herself, by tooth and nail if necessary… Reckoning - Bk 3 It's time for a reckoning. Emma has almost settled into life with her new friends. She has a man who means more to her than she cares to admit, friends that support and encourage her, and strange new abilities to master. But she still has to deal with the blood on her hands and the missing part of herself. She'd been changed, now it was up to her to place in the pack. Would they accept her after what she'd done? Desperate for answers, Emma will have to decide what's more important to her; the memories from her past, or the promise of her future.

Could not put it down.

This trilogy sucked me in from the very beginning. in turns horrifying, exciting, engaging, frustrating, captivating, intriguing, irritating, heartwarming and heartbreaking. The writing is solid, the world building is believable and the characters so "human". In fact I want more of them - warts and all. This stands alone, but leaves reader wanting more from this author and the moonstruck universe.

I stumbled upon this trilogy and I have to be honest I was very pleasantly surprised. I couldn’t seem to be able to put it down. It’s a story with the right amount of compelling characters, mystery and action. Can’t wait to see if the story continues through the other characters. I truly recommend it if you like paranormal mystery stories

The third installment is by far my favourite. After all the buildup of 1 and 2 it came as a nice payoff.
