I have been waiting forever for Law's book it seems, but man, what a disappointment...sigh. I didn't like the heroine. I was meant to believe this 23-year-old child was some super FBI agent?? She came across more like a little girl playing cops and robbers. I didn't like that they "saw" each other wanking off five years earlier, and nothing comes of it. I was disappointed that the "bad boy anti-hero" I loved getting glimpses of in previous books suddenly decided to go "straight." I mean...WTF?! He completely lost all his "bad boy" appeal!! Ugh...oh well. It is what it is I guess...

This book is steamy AF!!!!! Like damn..I need to cool off after that. This is Law and Taylor’s story. Taylor is a 23 year old FBI agent who’s looking into Law. This is an older man/younger woman type of romance. And it’s panty-melting hot. Although it’s a short book, it’s a great sexy read to destress after a long day. Oh and it’s best accompanied with a BOB😉...
Breaking his Law had little to no drama, it’s mainly about the sexy times. Had an alpha hero who just wanted to claim his woman. Law is packed with muscles and lets just say everything about him is huuuuge (sigh). Taylor is a strong heroine who has a mean punch and knows how to handle a gun even better. These two together will definitely light up your kindle.

This is fifth book in the sugar county boys books and cannot tell you how pleased I was when I saw that Law was getting his own book my curiosity grew about him throughout the books.

Taylor is an undercover FBI agent who is meant to be keeping a close watch on the infamous crime king Lawson, it’s her perfect job she now gets to watch her secret obsession but the time comes when she decides to make her move and bring him down and further her career but the best laid plans never work. After storming his bar alone he gets the upper hand she finds herself in his hands and trapped by a fire raging around them. She can’t deny her feelings for him any longer but when push comes to shove can she really trust trust Lawson or will he prove that’s he’s the devil incarnate?

Lawson will never forget the day he saw Taylor naked by the lake, he’s dreamed of her for the past five years. Knowing she’s half his age should make his feelings wrong in his eyes but now that’s she’s in his grasp there is no way he can ever let her walk away especially as now he’s had a taste of her forbidden fruit. But can he get her to trust him or will she always see him as the kingpin of sugar county? He’s claiming her as his forever and no one will stop him.

This was a hot and steamy read and I’m surprised my kindle didn’t melt. Both characters are fierce, determined and passionate. Highly recommend any of Madison Faye’s books.

Well if this book wasn't just steam and heat! I loved Lawson so very much. You really can't get better then a huge, rough and gruff man! The plot was nothing short if hot and there is enough heat within this story to melt any e-reader. If you have not read the other stories you will be just fine, as this is a standalone. We do get to visit past characters but nothing is reveled. I did not care for the female lead in this book very much, she was just too young compared to Lawson (through I imagine tgat is tge idea). She spent a lot of the story "gasping," and just didn't capture my attention. I received an ARC and I am leaving an honest review.

Breaking His Law is the fifth book in the Sugar County Boys series, and definitely my favorite. I was sooooo happy when I seen that Law would be getting his own book. He captivated me from the very first time we met him, in book one, Bucking Bronco.

Law is a rough around the edges, tough, gruff alpha, and oh so delicious!

This read is short, sweet and dirty. I was sad when I reached the end!

Faye amped up the heat and dirty talk in this novella, leaving me to hang on to every little word.

She's a temptation he should resist for many, many reasons (the biggest being he's sorta a criminal and she's definitely a loose cannon, fierce, independent fbi agent) but our guy can't help himself and she can't deny him. And once he gets a single taste and real, real good look, he's never ever turning back from her. She is... HIS, forever.

This book and these characters lit up my kindle the moment they stepped onto the page. And what a way to stay in the present while taking it back for a few for when their desire for each other really began. And you better believe, every moment between them I devoured.

You can't go wrong picking up a Madison Faye book, at all... naughty bedtime stories at their finest. They write with a ton of heart and enough heat to melt your panties completely off y'all.

This is one I highly recommend.

Breaking His Law by Madison Faye is book 5 in the Sugar County Boys. This is the story of Law and Taylor. Oh yes!!! Finally the readers get Law's story! Lawson is more than twice the age of Taylor, and he is considered a notorious criminal who admits to wrongdoing and Taylor is a FBI undercover agent sent in to bring him down.
Lawson is really an overbearing Alpha jerkness that was so mouthwatering yummy that every time he called Taylor babygirl- well, my kindle about went up in smoke. The storyline is spot on, the plotline is tight, the chemistry between Taylor and Law super steamy and the connection is extremely hot and electric between them. I dont want to give the story away , you know- spoilers. Just know that Ms. Faye has done it again with another red-hot, sexy read that will have you reaching for fans and an icy drink to cool down after being steamed up with this novella read.

God, I love this series. I couldn't wait to get Law's book and what a story it is. I didn't see Law getting a hot FBI agent as his Queen but if we know anything it is that Madison will give us what we need even if we don't know it.

This is a freaking hot story I almost thought my kindle was going to go up in flames. I loved this story and couldn't put it down. I think we all need a Law in our lives!

I like romances with an older man and younger woman, but I wanted Taylor's character to be a little bit more mature. She was accomplished, but I didn't think she acted smartly if all she was supposed to do was observe and report. But the attraction between Law and Taylor was red hot, and though there wasn't as much of a plot as the other books in the series, this was still an enjoyable read, with some of the other characters from the Sugar County books making appearances.

Breaking his law is book five in the sugar county boys. This story is short, fast paced and hot. I devoured this book within half an hour and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style for this book is easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. I really liked Law. He had the dangerous edge to him but he also had a slight softer side. He wanted Taylor but he tried to resist due to her being so much younger than him. That being said, when it came down to it, Law shown Taylor how much he wanted her. I liked Taylor but I didn’t like her as much as I liked Law. Taylor was so determined to prove that Law was doing something bad and wanted to arrest him. Even when she didn’t find anything on him and everyone told her he was an ok person she didn’t give up.
The chemistry between Law and Taylor was clear to see and I liked them as a couple. Their passion for one another was through the roof. Some of the scenes in this story are kindle melting hot!
I liked the ending to this book and the epilogue. I liked that Law finally got the woman he wanted. He gave up a lot for Taylor and her career in the FBI.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read.

Breaking His Law by Madison Faye is a HOT and STEAMY book! Breaking His Law is the 5th book in Sugar County Boys Series. I will definitely be going back to read the others in this series. This is the first book that I have read by her and it won’t be my last either! This book had me on the edge of my seat with the suspense and the hot sex scenes. I couldn’t put my kindle down while reading because I wanted to know what happened next.
Breaking His Law explores the romance between FBI agent Taylor Bronson and the alleged kingpin Lawson Banner. Taylor goes to Law’s bar to try and get the jump on him because the FBI thinks in into some illegal stuff. Taylor was told by her superiors not to confront him, just watch him. But Taylor paid no heed to that and went anyway. Law stops her and ties her up in a chair in the bar. Law has wanted Taylor in his bed and life since she was 18 years old and he saw her. But Taylor also had seen him as well 5 years ago. Sparks fly between Taylor and Law.
Do Taylor and Law give in to the sparks that are flying between them? Will they have their happily ever after? You will have to read Breaking His Law to find out! Breaking His Law has lots of steamy sex. This book is not for the faint at heart! When I tell you this book is HOT, it is HOT! Madison Faye shows in this book just because what you think you know about a person may not be who or what they are. She also shows that true love prevails even from that first initial meeting. Breaking His Law is the fifth book in the Sugar County Boys series, but can completely stand alone. Taylor is a young, undercover FBI agent and goes into Lawson’s bar to try to take him in custody. But between trying to prove herself and having a slight crush on the man, Taylor freezes. Law twists the tables and instead captures Taylor, and finally after five long years, he makes her his. There’s a lot that stands in their way, though, between their age difference, their stance of the law, fires, and his rivals, do Taylor and Law even stand a chance at finding happiness and love?

This book is full of surprises, taboo, passion, and vengeful competition! Taylor and Law are that couple that at first glance, may not have a whole lot in common, but when you get closer to them, you see how well they fit together! She’s with law and he used to break all the rules. She’s younger and sassy and he’s a little older and dominant. But they totally work together! Their passion for each other brought them together, but they shine when they’re able to work with one another! The plot in this book had me turning pages and I loved seeing what each of them was willing to do for the other! This book is a complete stand alone, but you did catch a glimpse of past characters. This was a fun and enjoyable book to read!

Madison Faye means you always get insta-lust and insta-love, and a very BIG helping of both. Breaking His Law is a fast read, pretty short, as is typical with this author. But, really, she gives you all you need in the pages that are there! Lots of steamy and sizzling encounters, and enough of a story (usually a good one) to orchestrate all that heat. Law is a tough and gruff Alpha, a bar-owner, and is considered a "Crime Boss," allegedly connected to illegal activities. Taylor is so sweet, but is also tough on her own as an FBI agent. She seems to have an inflated sense of her own abilities, otherwise she would have thought twice before confronting all that Alpha-ness without back-up. Oops! The "babygirl brat" in her ran away with her common sense. Another reviewer noted that the story wasn't realistic and, as an example, complained that Taylor was like a child playing cop/robber games. Of course it isn't realistic! My thought is that this book and books just like it are in a category of their own: Fantasyland-Romance. You must regularly exercise your ability to suspend your disbelief so that it is up to the task when reading such books--LOL! I enjoyed this one: quick, fun story with a ton of smutty-sexiness! One other reviewer suggested having your B.O.B. handy and I concur!

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we get Lawson "Law" Banner's story and we are introduced to Taylor Bronson (Colton & Shepherd's sister and Silas's cousin). Taylor is an FBI agent and walked into a bar that Law was drinking in to tell him he was under arrest. That didn't work so well for her what it got her was tied to a chair. Taylor may have thought she was going to bring him in but Law has bigger plans for his little firecracker. Can these two find their fire will burn them to the ground or give them the HEA they both are craving?

This is another amazing hit from this author. There is so much I want to tell you about this book. This book can be read as a stand alone. But I do recommend reading the others in this series just so you don't reveal any secrets. It does have its ups and downs. However those will have you up all night can't put the book down oh my wowza from beginning to end. I would highly recommend this to anyone and everyone.

I added my man Lawson to the spanking-freak shelf as he did take her in hand that first time. She was so caught off guard and didn't know her own likes, wants, and pleasures that it was quite refreshing to have them both share that moment and it did bring them closer together (imho). That said, I love that they both have been thinking of each other for 5 years...I wish that he wasn't so old tho...I wish is was 44 now (not 5 years ago when they first saw each other)...23 and 49 is a really big gap. He is gonna a tired, grumpy dad...that was my first feeling. LOL. I'm too practical some times. as it was, as a mom at 27, 32, and 36...I know that I was a better mom at 27 than 36, but I have more $ and time now for my teenager than I did for the first teen...weird...but those were the thoughts that kept going in my head on this age gap. I guess I'm okay with 20vs40, but in the late 40's something happens and the focus in life shifts. Maybe men are different tho??? Who am I kidding...men are a foreign landscape of which I don't travel.

WE FINALLY GET LAWSON BOOK AND TAYLOR!!!

We met Taylor in the last book visiting her cousin a small glimpse of her, and now she's tied up in the bar. She's alittle hot headed and went kinda rogue to catch kingpin Lawson but it didn't work out, before things get hot and heavy we have a small flashback 5 years ago Taylor and Lawson met just not seen both caught each other touching themself and fantasizing about the other.

Lawson has been wanting her since then and now he shall have her.. the hot dirty sex is hawt!!!! But their are some tension Lawson doesn't believe Taylor believes him.. and Taylor  feels abit heartbroken when she leaves Lawson. With the help of her sister-in-law she goes back and things get even more heavy between them.. this time Lawson is never going to let her go..

I've read a few books by Madison Faye but something about this series has had me hooked. I haven't missed a single one in this series and I have been hoping to get Law's story next. The hint we had in the previous book had me intrigued and eager for more.

Be prepared for these Sugar County Boys they will become your next guilty pleasure and you will be hooked. These two came across each other in a unorthodox way and have been wanting each other since.

Taylor is set out to capture a kingpin and he is determined to make her his now that she has come into his business. Taylor may not know everything about Law as thinks. He has secrets and he is about to show her who he is and that she will be his!

The queen of smut has done it again!!! Definitely won't be missing anymore books by Madison Faye if I can help it.

I was a tad disappointed in Law and Taylor's story. I love a good OTT instalove romance, but **SPOILER** the literal river of fire surrounding the Law's bar with the couple inside didn't do it for me.
With the mystery behind Law and his history, I was hoping for one last stand/battle before leaving the underworld and his enemies behind and claiming his queen. What we got was Mikey Sims. Poor thing gave it his all, but it wasn't much.
Taylor is 23 and graduated top of her class at the academy, breaking several records along the way. You wouldn't think her to be so impulsive and reckless with accomplishments like that. Sadly, she is and surely was trying to make her way into dumb heroine territory.
Breaking His Law is a fun, sexy read. I was just hoping for more for the couple and the ending of the series.

Well, Taylor does break the Law, but it's Lawson, the Kingpin, crime boss of Sugar County. Taylor goes into Lawson's Black Lung Bar to take him down in her fbi sting, but that isn't how it goes down. Lawson is a much bigger and stronger foe and Taylor fails to make the arrest. What does happen is, both Law and Taylor find that they each have their own private history with each other and passion ignites between them. The story is very hot, very hot indeed, for a few reasons. Although Law is twice Taylor's age, that doesn't make their attraction cool one bit. The sex is off the charts hot and they can't seem to be seperated by age or outside circumstances. I enjoyed this fifth installment of the Sugar County Boys series and was happy to see some of the characters from previous books in the end. A great, hot, sexy read about the very sexy men of Sugar County is over, I will miss them.

I was hooked from the beginning...

I loved this story... I mean who doesn’t love a bad boy...and they don’t come much badder than this kingpin, crime boss...and the heroine she’s smart and strong and has no place as an FBI agent getting caught up on the wrong side of the law...

But there are great twist and turns in this short story not to mention a steamy encounter or two...and I loved that everything is not quite as straightforwards for either character as it would first seem..

From the moment I started this novella I was hooked on the plot and desperate to know how these two protagonists, from totally different and conflicting worlds, could ever find a HEA....I received an advanced copy of this book from the author

This novella involves a much older man and younger woman. No daddy play or anything like that just an age gap. Just figured some might want a heads up.

As always, this novella was extremely hot over the charts smutty. This is one thing I love about reading novellas by Madison. Getting to read pure romance with a decent plot is awesome. I love getting hot and bothered occasionally.

Taylor and Law are a perfect complement for each other. FBI and Crime King of Sugar County makes for an interesting couple and plot.

Wow! Wow!! Wow!!!
This was a great addition to the Sugar County Boys series where Taylor who is a know it all FBI officer that has a cheeky manner and her attention is set on a man with a huge reputation. Lawson is no spring chicken at almost twice her age and is a known to have connections with criminals but even these factors do no dissuade them and the attraction they have in each other.
Read about their interaction and the way in which they allow their attraction for each other to take over these two strong minded individuals, they come together in a hot, steamy, sexy interaction that once you start reading you will not be able to put the book down until you reach the end.
I enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

Hot and steamy. Intense and over-the-top. Sinful wrong but deliciously right. Law and Taylor's book really hit the ground running as the tension and sizzle between these two is already thick and out of control. This older man/younger woman, bad man and the FBI agent story delivered everything that I'd hoped it would. An engaging and entertaining plot captured and held my interest. The story was very easy to read and was well paced. The chemistry between these characters was scorching and explosive. With drama, danger, splashes of humor and a heavy dose of sweetness, this quick read was fun and enjoyable. I am posting a frank review of my own accord.

This book will have you rooting for the Big Bad Guy. I Loved this read it had my Heart beat racing, just the entire interaction between Lawson Banner and Taylor was absolutely some of the hottest foreplay I have ever read. Lawson is more than twice the age of Taylor, and He is a notorious crime Man who admits to doing wrong, and Taylor is a FBI undercover agent.
Lawson was just such an overbearing Alpha A Hole that was mouthwatering, every time he called her baby girl, sheesh sign me up. This is probably one of my favorite reads from this author and I have read a ton of her work, I think it was just the intensity of chemistry between the characters that made this so HOT.
