Varsel i mörkret
Sedan 1996 har svensken Hans-Åke Lilja drivit Lilja's Library - The World of Stephen King, en av världens största sajter med nyheter om Stephen Kings böcker och filmer. Utöver nyheter och recensioner har Lilja genom åren intervjuat inte bara King själv, utan även många i teamet kring författaren. En smått unik prestation. Vid sajtens 20-årsjubileum satte Lilja igång med att sammanställa en antologi med den sorts skräck han älskar och vuxit upp med. Resultatet blev boken SHINING IN THE DARK. Givetvis medverkar King själv med en novell som inte är lätt att få tag i och som inte finns med i några av hans novellsamlingar. Novellen The Blue Air Compressor har tidigare enbart publicerats i tidningarna Onan Magazine (1971) och Heavy Metal (1981). Boken innehåller sammanlagt tolv noveller, varav några specialskrivna.

Hans-Ake Lilja (so glad typing means I don't need to pronounce his name) has been running “Lilja's Library”, a website dedicated to Stephen King news, for more than twenty years now. This book of short stories honors that twenty year date, but instead of trying to capture only King stories, he (with the help of friends) decided on collection of horror shorts from a variety of authors, twelve in all. I didn't seek out this book, but when I happen to get it, I was a bit stoked to read the one King short story included within, titled “The Blue Air Compressor”. Supposedly it's a story that's never been collected. After reading it I think I understand just why that is. Well, shit.
To say I was worried about the remainder of this book is quite the understatement, but Ketchum saved the day with the turn of two pages. Did Jack Ketchum ever write a bad short story? True, I've read only one other anthology if his (my review of Gorilla in My Room), but so far the guy was golden. I'll be reading more. This particular short, called The Net, co-written with PD Cacek, follows the back-and-forth conversation between two strangers who've recently met in a chat room. One things lead to another...as so happens on the Net. In this case, the where and how that leads became at first heartening, then funny and then very very dark.
10 stories later, at the close of the back flap, I realized that I had really liked most of these - loved three of them. And although I'd heard of all these authors, five had just become first time reads. There's an interesting play at work while reading a mix of authors. No two write in the same style here. Each story has its own pacing, and places they take the reader. So, even if this isn't a perfect collection (and what is?), the experience was good, especially for those 3 or 4 gems inside. Speaking of...the final story, “The Keeper's Companion” by John Ajvide Lindqvist, rivals the Ketchum story and The Companion by Ramsey Campbell, for being among my favorites. Lindqvist's tells a tale of a too-smart, pompous adolescent boy who accidentally conjures up a Lovecraftian creature to use for his own bidding, or so it seems. Really good writing. Great ending, which was also what the Ketchum and Campbell stories had in common. Finally, I'd say the best moments within many of these stories came with the wondering of what's real vs what's real only in a character's mind, and my mind too. Only in a horror story.

Usually short story collections are hit or miss with me, I find they tend to contain one or two gems and the rest I could do without. This collection is the opposite of that. With each story I kept saying to myself this one is my favourite, the next one can’t possibly beat it. And I was proven wrong every single time, they just kept getting better and better. Each of these stories is PHENOMENAL and don’t make me pick a favourite or I’ll have a meltdown! There’s some big names in this collection, King, Barker, Campbell, but you shouldn’t read this for those stories alone. The stories by the slightly lesser known authors are just as good, if not better and you’d be missing out if you didn’t read them!

I want to start off by saying how lovely this book is! Yes, the cover is graced by Marv, and he isn't beautiful, but still, the composition of the dust jacket is nice, but remove that and underneath is perfection! It's a lovely, deep brown, gold foil type and the inside pages are a gorgeous mossy green. The hardbacks are very thick and textured. I just pet it for a while before digging in.
I will say that, despite the sincerity of his sentiments, Lilja was not edited in his foreword. I think most of the grammar issues are due to translation, but it was a little funny to find so many "typos" in such a lovely tome. I love Lilja, so I don't mean this as a bad thing, just a quirky thing. ;-)
The Blue Air Compressor *** This is far from King’s best, but it is a fun little tale that has a ridiculous ending. It’s pretty easy to see why he never included it in any of his personal anthologies, but it’s great to read something here that is hard to find elsewhere.
The Net ***** This was terrific! Not only was it cleverly framed in such a way that the tension built and built, but the ending was exactly the opposite of what I was expecting. Super clever!
The Novel of the Holocaust ** I just didn’t care for this. Not only because I didn’t quite understand it, but it was just dull, and at the risk of sounding like a jerk, I think sometimes writers think that just writing about the Holocaust, or including it in a title, ensures a successful tale. Not so.
Aeliana **** This was just odd enough that I couldn’t wait to find out what was going to happen next! The writing was lovely, but so was the tale.
Pidgen and Theresa *** I enjoyed the writing and the way the words were strewn together. The world-building with just crumbs dropped here and there was fantastic, but I didn’t understand the actual story. The secret language was entertaining, and exploring the relationship between twins was as well, and the way they became twins was fascinating, but I didn’t really know what happened in the end. I love iguanas, though. O_o
An End to All Things **** This was pure despair. It actually hurt my heart to read it. The story opens with a man donning a bathrobe and taking a walk, being careful not to drag his robe-tie in the goose shit. It just gets more desperate from there. I don't want to give anything away, but this was pure misery and beautifully written.
Cemetery Dance *** Weird, but I think I enjoyed it more because of the title than because of the story, although that last line… pretty darn good!
Drawn to the Flame ** I love Joe Hill, with the exception of NOS4R2. This was in that same vein. Just a bit too outlandish for me to suspend disbelief enough to enjoy the ride. The setup was terrifically atmospheric, but then the actual events fizzled out for me. Too, too much.
(since writing this review I have reread NOS4A2 and now love it, but still don't love this little tale)
The Companion ** Not a fan.
The Tell Tale Heart ***** Who doesn’t love Poe? I remember reading this in an illustrated version when I was about eight. The illustration at the end was of him ripping up the floorboards and the eye just crazy, wobbly staring at him! Poe was a master and endures for so many reasons!
A Mother’s Love ***** This was infinitely clever. Our family was in a bit of the same situation with our Father-in-Law, but thank goodness we didn’t resort to the solution found here. The very end was, like The Net, the opposite of what I thought was happening. A real “gothcha!” moment.
The Keeper’s Companion ***** His writing is sublime. Much like Murakami, you know the genius runs deep since it has to transcend the translation process. I grew up on D&D and my sons also loved it, so I understood the underlying language of this story better than most. This was the third, and best, example of the twist ending in the collection. Not only do I feel the satisfaction of the little asshole getting his comeuppance, but the twist made it all the sweeter!

Перфектно издание, перфектен превод, перфектна подборка! :) Линдквист маже, Кечъм&Кейсък радват (а има и котка!), Баркър и Чизмар малко са попретупали работата, разказът на Кинг все едно е бета-версия на нещо хубаво, но недозапочнато, недонаписано и недомислено... Но като цяло антологията се е получила. Е, не е с класата на „ВОЙ“ на LAZARUS, но да не бъдем максималисти :) :) :)

No geral, achei muito legal a experiência de leitura dessa antologia.
Uma mistura interessante de contos e, como acontece com todos os leitores em todos os livros com tantas histórias, algumas me agradaram muito mais que outras.
Os contos que chamaram mais a minha atenção (pela história e pela sensação que provocou em mim enquanto lia) foram:
- A rede (Jack Ketchum e P.D. Cacek)
- Atraídos para o fogo (Kevin Quigley)
- O coração delator (Edgar Allan Poe)
- O companheiro do guardião (John Ajvide Lindqvist)
No geral, achei muito legal a experiência de leitura dessa antologia.

Както се спомена в друго ревю: доста читава селекция.
Рядко се случва един сборник да бъде харесан "в цялост" от читателя си и, уви, това се отнася и за моята връзка с този.
За мен голямото откровение на сборника беше "Ръководство за заклинания" на Линдквист. Уникално добър разказ, при това осезаемо вдъхновен от Стивън Кинг като стил и сюжет. Плътно по петите му в личната ми класация върви "Пиджин и Тереза" на Баркър, макар че е отишъл така далеч отвъд хоръра, че вече е просто гениална литература. "Привлечени от пламъка" също ме зарадва доста, обичам комбинацията от деца, затворени в страшна къща...
Като цяло - доволна съм, надявам се по-често да виждаме сборницип от този тип.

Ужасен ужас, уви не какъвто ми се искаше да бъде. Ей, голяма мъка. Единствено 2 разказа ми харесаха и то само на фона на останалите. Не знам дали аз съм изгубила вкуса си към жанра или просто тази антология се състоеше от основно посредствени и ужасно скучни разкази.

Me ha costado la vida terminarlo…no soy muy de relatos, pero es que a pesar del plantel de escritores que se nos presentaba, solo hay algunos relatos que me han gustado y hay otros bastante flojos. Los mejores según mis gustos:
-The Net. Me quedo con Ketchum sin lugar a dudas.
-Drawn to the flame. Kevin Quigley, me gustó mucho.
-A Tell Tale Heart de Poe, magnífico. Por cierto hay una peli en Netflix España con 4 historias en versión original francés de los años 50 (blanco y negro) y éste es uno de los que se contiene. Muy chula la peli.
-The Keeper’s companion de John Ajvide Lindqvist.
Y ya. Los otros se dejan leer sin más y no me han dejado poso.
He leído la versión original en inglés. De ahí que los títulos que os cuento no estén traducidos al castellano.
-The Net. Me quedo con Ketchum sin lugar a dudas.

UN RESPLANDOR EN LA OSCURIDAD ha sido mi primer acercamiento a la editorial DIMENSIONES OCULTAS y he quedado maravillado.
Una antología que incluye 12 relatos impregnados completamente de horror, claro, unos más que otros.
Y es que los talentos que desfilan por las 340 páginas de este libro son en su mayoría autores de alto calibre en el género:
STEPHEN KING, CLIVE BARKER, JACK KETCHUM, RAMSEY CAMPBELL, RICHARD CHIZMAR, JOHN AJVIDE LINDQVIST y hasta el icónico EDGAR ALLAN POE
(entre algunos otros)
Si tuviera que mencionar las historias que más me han gustado del libro, elegiría las siguientes:
-EL COMPRESOR DE AIRE AZUL (STEPHEN KING) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
-LA RED (JACK KETCHUM) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
-EL LIBRO DEL HOLOCAUSTO (STEWART O'NAN⭐⭐⭐⭐

Una antología que estoy seguro será del gusto de todos los amantes de las buenas historias de terror contemporáneo.

Samo 5 prica, od 12, su zapravo horor. I one su mi se najvise i dopale. Da su drugačije poređane u samoj zbirci utisak bi bio dosta bolji. Sam početak nije nudio mnogo i mnogi bi možda i odustali od daljeg čitanja. Priče su uglavnom o ljudskim slabostima, strahovima i zabludama. Poslednja je poentirala i nije mi žao što sam zbirku pročitala do kraja. Kupovina je već druga stvar. Nisam sigurna da li bih dala pare za nju.

Започвам с една звездичка предварение заради ентусиазма на Плеяда. Отдавна не съм виждал антология да се издаде толкова скорострелно на български и то антология на ужасите.
Лиля е прав, с изключение на „Сърцето издайник” не бях чел нито един от разказите, дори този на Кийн.
Сборникът е любопитна амалгама от отвърдени в жанра величия и по-неизвестни автори, но популярни с години работата за литературата на ужаса. Нужно е да се споменат и прекрасните илюстрации на Ерин Уелс преди всеки разказ, които допринасят много за атмосферата.
„Синият компресор : Да разкажеш ужаса” на Стивън Книг – Писан доста преди „Мизъри” разказът ни показва предварителни опити по темата, но се губи на фона на въпросния шедьовър. Може би за това Кралят го е разкрасил с есеистични вметки които, с типичният за него черен хумор, леко повдигат завесата към писането на качествен хорър.
Един писател полека изпада в зависимост от отвратителната си хазяйка, докато един ден не намира синия компресор.
„Мрежата” на Джак Кетчъм и П.Д. Кейсък – Типична за Кетчъм история в която бавно ни привързва към героите си, преди да ги споходи зловеща кулминация.
Един чат между две самотни души прераства в нещо по-голямо. Но дали са готови да се изправят пред реалността, много по-различна от виртуалните представи?
„Романа за Холокоста” на Стюард О’Нан – Доста известен американски писател, но непознат у нас. За съжаление не е жанров автор и това си личи и в този разказ.
Един писател пътува към представянето на големия си роман при Опра. Пътьом отбелязва разликите между действителността, прозата и настоящето.
„Ейлиана” на Бев Винсънт – Много по-известен с книгите си за творчеството на Кинг, от колкото с разказите си, Винсънт е участвал в редица фентъзи антологии и такива на ужаса. Този разказ е изпаднал от една споделена вселена и виси малко във въздуха, но е много приятен.

„Краят на всичко” на Брайън Кийн – Човекът заради когото исках книгата. Тук доста излиза от зоната си на комфорт, за да почете Стивън Кинг. Резултатът е мрачен и доста добър.
Краят на света настъпва всеки ден или поне така му се иска. Защо?
„Гробищен Танц” на Ричард Чизмар – Разказът на който е кръстено едно от любимите ми издателства, подало ръка на десетки емблеми в жанра. Естествено, написан от създателя му и както казва самият той – заглавието е по-добро от съдържанието.
Комбинацията от подтисната вина и посещение на гроба на любимата никога не води до добри последствия.
„Привлечени от пламъка” на Кевин Кюгли – Вдъхновен от Бредбъри разказ, който според мен авторът изтърва някъде по средата. Въпреки това е много атмосферен и плашещ.
Три хлапета решават да избягат от вкъщи, за да посетят панаира. От това се възползва странен субект, който ги вкарва в смъртоносна атракция.
„Спътникът” на Рамзи Кемпбел – Типичен Кемпбел – неясно зловещ, по-скоро загатващ от колкото разказващ и държащ те в напрежение не само докато четеш, а и след като приключиш.
Пътуваш търговец с нездраво влечение към лунапарокве ще попадне на много повече от колкото е очаквал от поредната атракция.
„Сърцето издайник” на Едгар Алан По – Тук нищо няма да кажа. Велик.
„Майчина обич” на Брайън Джеймс Фрийман – Друг от главните виновници за съществуването на “Cemetery dance”. Една история, много по-затрогваща, от колкото плашеща с добре поднесен неочакван край.
На какво сте готови, когато любимият човек бавно умира пред очите ви?
„Ръководство за заклинания” на Йон Айвиде Линдквист – Пропуснах „Покани ме да вляза”, заради отвратителния шум, който се вдигна около книгата. Никога не съм вярвал на платени глашатаи. Явно този път съм в грешка, която ще поправя. Друг от бисерите в антологията. Много кингов с намигане към Лъвкрафт.
Да водиш настолни игри е отговорност, а когато създаваш такава по Некрономикон, може да има неочаквани последствия, особено ако си задник по природа.
Лиля е прав, с изключение на „Сърцето издайник” не бях чел нито един от разказите, дори този на Кийн.
Сборникът е любопитна амалгама от отвърдени в жанра величия и по-неизвестни автори, но популярни с години работата за литературата на ужаса. Нужно е да се споменат и прекрасните илюстрации на Ерин Уелс преди всеки разказ, които допринасят много за атмосферата.
„Синият компресор : Да разкажеш ужаса” на Стивън Книг – Писан доста преди „Мизъри” разказът ни показва предварителни опити по темата, но се губи на фона на въпросния шедьовър. Може би за това Кралят го е разкрасил с есеистични вметки които, с типичният за него черен хумор, леко повдигат завесата към писането на качествен хорър.
Един писател полека изпада в зависимост от отвратителната си хазяйка, докато един ден не намира синия компресор.
„Мрежата” на Джак Кетчъм и П.Д. Кейсък – Типична за Кетчъм история в която бавно ни привързва към героите си, преди да ги споходи зловеща кулминация.
Един чат между две самотни души прераства в нещо по-голямо. Но дали са готови да се изправят пред реалността, много по-различна от виртуалните представи?
„Романа за Холокоста” на Стюард О’Нан – Доста известен американски писател, но непознат у нас. За съжаление не е жанров автор и това си личи и в този разказ.
Един писател пътува към представянето на големия си роман при Опра. Пътьом отбелязва разликите между действителността, прозата и настоящето.

Първото, което привлича е корицата, разбира се- Марв е страхотният Библиотечен полицай. Поздравления и за вътрешното оформление на разказите и илюстрациите, предхождащи всеки един. Интересното тук е вмъкването за "Началото" и "Идеята", с което авторите сами отговорят на така популярния въпрос: "А как се зароди идеята? ". Друг хубав бонус, предоставен от издателството, е представянето на писателите с няколко думи- някои от тях бяха непознати за мен, но след прочетеното бих ги добавила в списъка за бъдещи изследвания на жанра Ужаси. Отдавна не бях чела сборник (антология) от разкази не на един автор, като това направи оценяването малко по-трудно. Но погледнато цялостно, а и взета осреднено, оценката е 4&1/2. Разказите "Мрежата", "Ейлияна","Краят на всичко","Привлечени от пламъка","Сърцето издайник", "Майчина обич","Ръководство за заклинания" ми допаднаха повече, като това в никакъв случай не прави останалите по-слаби- може би аз не успях до край да се концентрирам върху идеята им. С други думи, какъв по-хубав начин да отпразнуваш юбилей от това да събереш на едно място качествени произведения от хора свързани малко или много с "патрона" на библиотеката.

Доста читава хохър-селекция, в която, уви, разказът на Краля беше един от най-слабите... За недоразумението "Романа за Холокоста" вече писах - тази, хм творба, няма място в антологията. Също така, ако бях съставител, не бих включил и разказа на Едгар Алан По - авторът е КОЛОС, произведението е емблематично, но просто стои като пришита кръпка сред съвременните творби. Разказите, които максимално ме изкефиха се оказаха и най-дългите - гот! "Привлечени от пламъка" на Кевин Кюгли, трибют към Рей Бредбъри и "Нещо зло се задава" и "Ръководство за заклинания" на Йон Айвиде Линдквист - прекрасна история от Ктхулу -Вселената.

Interessanter Mix
Stephen King-Fans dürfte Hans-Åke Lilja, der Herausgeber dieser Anthologie, sicher ein Begriff sein. Er schuf www.liljas-library.com, die größte Stephen-King-Newseite im Web. Und eben diese Side feierte 2018 ihr 20-jähriges Jubiläum. Anlass genug für Lilja, eine wirklich bunte Anthologie mit Storys namenhafter Autoren zusammenzustellen. Der Festa Verlag holte diese in Form einer limitierten und handsignierten Sammlerausgabe nach Deutschland. Darin enthalten zahlreiche deutsche Erstveröffentlichungen, unter anderem auch Stephen Kings Kurzgeschichte »Der blaue Kompressor«, die erstmals 1971 in einer kleinen Uni-Zeitschrift erschienen ist, in deutscher Übersetzung allerdings wie gesagt hier Premiere feiert. »Shining in the Dark – The World of Stephen King« ist schon lange ausverkauft und wenn überhaupt, nur noch gebraucht erhältlich.
12 Geschichten sowie Vor- und Nachwort bilden eine abwechslungsreiche und interessante Lektüre, die mich aber nicht komplett überzeugen konnte. Wie so oft bei Anthologien gefällt einem natürlich meist nicht jede Story und auch hier gab es in meinen Augen einige echte Perlen, aber eben auch Ausreißer nach unten. Leider gehörte Stephen Kings Erzählung zu Letzteren. Dafür konnten mich »Internet«, »Aeliana«, »Das Ende aller Dinge«, »Die Verlockung der Flamme« und »Das Handbuch des Hüters« absolut begeistern. Besonders Quigleys »Die Verlockung der Flamme« hat mich in seinen Bann geschlagen, eine tolle Mischung aus Coming of Age und Jahrmarkthorror, die mich stark an Bradburys »Das Böse kommt auf leisen Sohlen« erinnert hat. Faszinierend und gelungen.

Fazit
Eine lesenswerte Anthologie, die mit Vielfältigkeit punktet und natürlich auch durch ihre Aufmachung und Einzigartigkeit glänzt. Ein Schmuckstück, das einige wahrhaftige Perlen bietet und sich hervorragend im Bücherregal eines jeden Sammlers und Liebhabers macht.

„Сияние в мрака“ е антология, побрала в себе си имената на Стивън Кинг, Клайв Баркър, Едгар Алън По, Йон Айвиде Линдквист и още много неизвестни за мен таланти. Изданието е оформено интересно – преди всяка творба има кратък текст от автора, който разказва откъде е тръгнала идеята му. Споделянето на вдъхновението определено прави книгата по-близка и лична за читателя. Подобен подход съм срещала при Стивън Кинг и Нийл Геймън.
Важно уточнение: не си представяйте, че всички разкази са свързани с ужасите. Не са и точно това прави сборника още по-хубав. Съдържа дванайсет различни истории, които ще ви впечатлят със своята стегнатост и ясно изразена индивидуалност. Ще срещнете непредвидени убийства, интернет чатове с невъобразими последствия, ужасни и отвратителни хора, много смърт, пеперуди и едно заклинание, което ще поведе след себе си немислимото.

I am a long time follower of Hans-Åke Liljas website since the early days of the "web", so this book was a no brainer for me.
A very interesting collection of stories here, some certainly better than others but all of them had something to enjoy.
Surprisingly - Kings story is one of my least favourite here - but interesting as being a very early example of his work.
Stand outs include Clive Barker's "Pidgin & Theresa" - a very rare story which is CLASSIC Barker - putting me in mind of the best of the Books of Blood, and John Ajvide Lindqvist's lovecraftian tale, "The Keepers Companion" either of which alone are worth the price of the book.
Add to that a great story from Ramsey Campbell, Englands greatest living horror writer, and a chilling short from Brian James Freeman, this collection is well worth your time.

All the stories contained in this collection are pretty unique and well told. The stand out for me is "Drawn to the Flame" by Kevin Quigley, who doesnt love a good deranged carnival story.. right!?! This is a short one with a little something for everyone who enjoys the creepy and freaky.

Изобщо последните три разказа изкачиха “Сияние в мрака” в моите очи, определено не са достатъчни страхотии и кървища, за да определя един разказ за добър – нужни са перо, сюжет, идея, завръзка, изненада, смисъл, все неща, които да уплътнят литературно една творба, независимо дали тя си играе или не със страховете на хората. Не знам доколко Лиля наистина е имал право да пробира, напълно разбирам, че веднъж свързал се с популярен автор за подобен проект, нямаш много опции да влияеш на това, което ще получиш. От друга страна, той е избрал достатъчно широк спектър от разкази, които покриват повечето от базисните сюжети в жанровата литература, така че сборникът да е представителен за тематиката на сайта.

"Сияние в мрака" - сборник с хорър (и не само) разкази със съставител Ханс-Оке Лиля. Хубаво издание е, с рисунка към всеки разказ и представяне от автора какво е вдъхновило написването му. Накрая имаше и кратки биографични данни за тях. Това са страхотни идеи за един такъв сборник и ми се иска всяка книга с разкази да е оформена по този начин. А това е жанр, който обичам, заради краткостта и шокиращият край, особено в областта на фантастиката и хоръра. Не се плашете от този сборник, а илюстрацията на корицата радва много почитатели. Разнообразни по жанр бяха произведенията. Имаше по-интересни, имаше такива, които те замислят или натъжават, според настроението в момента. Който обича такъв тип книги, тази определено ще му допадне

I had not heard of this and had no expectations going in. I loved it. My favourite is The Keeper’s Companion by John Ajvide Lindqvist. It’s a story about some kids who make up a game based on Call of Cthulhu and accidentally summon a creature. I’ve been reading Lovecraft this month and that’s probably why it was my favourite of them all. This is a great collection with great authors. I’m glad I stumbled upon it.

Un libro con una colección de relatos interesantes pero que quizá me ha dejado con ganas de más. Al leer nombres de autores tan importantes quizá esperaba historias más elaboradas.
Sin duda mi favorita ha sido “El Corazón Delator” que aunque ya la conocía, ha sido un placer leerla en español gracias a la maravillosa traducción que ha hecho Javier Martos.
Muchos de los relatos se leían de manera ágil y te mantenían enganchado, pero algunos finales se me quedaban algo predecibles o flojillos. Aunque en general como digo, me han gustado bastante.
Te recomiendo este libro si te gustan los relatos cortitos y no tan cortitos. En general la he disfrutado, pero no es mi colección de relatos favorita.

От една страна издаването на сборник разкази в наши дни е смело начинание - cudos и на Лиля че го е направил, и на ИК Плеяда че го преведоха на български
От друга страна, нека сме честни - Ханс-Аке Лиля не е нищо повече от фенбой на Стивън Кинг, който от 20 години ръководи един от фенсайтовета за Краля. За да отпразнува този юбилей, фенчето е започнало да мрънка на шепа известни и не толкова хорър автори, включително мистър Кинг да му подарят по един разказ за колекцията. Историята мълчи колко от тях са си изкарали ограничителна заповед срещу Лиля, но някой са склонили.
Резултатът е мъчителна за четене колекция от най-слабото което тези автори са писали - като част от тях дори си приз��ават в коментарите "това го написах за еди кой си сборник/конкурс, ама не го одобриха и се чудех какво да го правя". Повечето от разказите (с две изключения) са толкова слаби, че този на Йон Линдквист (да, не вярвам че пиша и това) всъщност блести над останалите. Другият добър, от общо 12, разказ е на Клайв Баркър, но хей - той винаги рулира.
Втората звезда я давам само защото закупих сборника от разпродажба и ми излезе почти без пари.

Историята мълчи колко от тях са си изкарали ограничителна заповед срещу Лиля, но някой са склонили.
Резултатът е мъчителна за четене колекция от най-слабото което тези автори са писали - като част от тях дори си приз��ават в коментарите "това го написах за еди кой си сборник/конкурс, ама не го одобриха и се чудех какво да го правя". Повечето от разказите (с две изключения) са толкова слаби, че този на Йон Линдквист (да, не вярвам че пиша и това) всъщност блести над останалите. Другият добър, от общо 12, разказ е на Клайв Баркър, но хей - той винаги рулира.
Втората звезда я давам само защото закупих сборника от разпродажба и ми излезе почти без пари.
