Really beautiful illustrations by Carole Hènaff. The artwork alone is worth purchasing the book. The goddess information is nothing new, but is a good and brief overview for someone unfamiliar with them. It is a smaller book, so there aren’t many goddesses included, but there is a good representation of beliefs and cultures included. The rituals are simple and easy enough for beginners and include items most people would either already own, or have easy access to get, which is much appreciated!

The goddess summaries were nice, but sometimes a bit too concise to really understand why a certain ritual was associated with a certain goddess. The rituals themselves didn’t resonate with me, though that’s a personal preference. The illustrations were lovely.
