Er zaten mooie en interessante stukken in het boek, maar ik ben blij dat ik het uit heb. Ik geloof zeker dat er meer is dan onze wereld, dat de ziel/energie blijft bestaan en bepaalde dingen kunnen gebeuren om hier uit te leren. Ik vind het persoonlijk echter lastiger om voor te stellen dat de struggles/angsten waar je nu tegenaan loopt, voortkomen uit vorige levens die je hebt geleefd. Het grootste deel van het boek waren voorbeelden over dit thema, waardoor ik mijn interesse een beetje verloor.

My jury is definitely out on this one and hasn’t returned and probably won’t

This is one of those books that postulates a concept and experiences that cannot be proven or disproven. As I read it I encountered elements that I’ve run into before in books by authors such as Chopra, Tolle, Dyer, Coelho, Castaneda etc

In short there’s nothing earth shattering or revelatory in it and one is forced to question what the writer espouses and ask if there’s any truth or validity to it. If there was, why is he one of the very very very few who has the spiritual connections that he does. Or perhaps there are millions more who have just never thought of sharing it with anyone, far less for the world at large.

Short of the personal examples he describes, it almost seems like a book anyone who’s read the current top 50 list of top selling books on spirituality could have written by simply linking and extrapolating on the ideas and concepts already in them
That being said maybe this guy is the real deal the challenge is that there no sure fire way to know other than to engage his services.

I’m keeping an eye out however my jury still hasn’t returned. I think they may have left the building

This book is so helpful to better understand who you are, your soul level, how to diagnosis and work through your fears. I would suggest that anyone interested in this type of work, would read Mr. MacLeod's previous book "The Instruction" before reading this one. For me, with my discovery work, having the information from I gleaned from "The Instruction" made reading this book more helpful. It allowed me to go deeper into understanding my soul level, soul type and how I can move forward in this life.

There are exercises throughout this book that I will still work through but I found everything I read immensely helpful and satisfying.

During this chaotic pre-election time in the U.S., I picked up this book as much-needed respite from fear, war, and a disturbing newsfeed.

Interesting case studies, but I was a bit put off by his simplistic "10 soul types" that mimics elements of Enneagram, Myers Briggs, and other personality tests. A summary of his clients' medical and relationship issues that were tied to their previous lives, the book is a very readable primer on reincarnation. However, it doesn't touch on lives in other dimensions or on other planets, only on Earth. Reductive, but a good introduction to spiritual reading.

I enjoyed the writer's voice and humor and I'd like to believe his accounts of instantaneous healing. It's 3 stars plus an extra star for the powerfully motivating message in the last chapter, from which I took notes. I recommend it as a calming reminder to stay true to your soul's purpose amid the distractions and challenges Earth throws at you, and that love, kindness, and peace are the keys to a successful life.

Someone else on here wrote a review of this book that stated clearly and concisely what I thought too. If you have read other books on spirituality, there doesn't seem to be anything new here. It might be -- or it might not be -- primarily an overview with bits that are similar to other spirituality books. Or, it could be that this author does have a connection that is "higher" than most others (as he says) but just hasn't written the book in a way that duly conveys that. So, for me, I did not find anything new here, but if you are just beginning to read books on spirituality, then you might find more take-aways from this book.

This book was informative for most people and a reminder to those of us who "know." These subjects are always a fun read and the exercises in the book can help you uncover things.

My only issue with is with the limited view point that we always reincarnate on this Earth. The Universes are endless with perpetual planets and the possibly for a steady stream of various life forms. I have done past life regression sessions with clients that did not take place on this Earth. I also had a past live experience myself that did not take place on this Earth. Some of my clients experienced they were not human, but some other life form.

Some of the concepts were good, but I had read them all before. This book brings nothing different to the table than the multitudes of spiritual books already written. This is a personal thing, but I'm not a great fan of books whereby the author just speaks about the life stories of his clients and what he had done to help them. Don't get me wrong if you have not read this type of book before it will set out some interesting information. However, if you are a regular reader to esoteric/spiritual material then you will not benefit from this book.

Firstly I must admit to being a bit skeptical about these things anyway, so I'm sure that has influenced my feelings towards this book. I decided to give it a go after it was recommended to me by someone who felt I was an old soul. There is parts of it that resonated with me for sure, but I did feel as if a lot of it was just detailing his work, and almost selling himself and his services to the reader. That was further backed up when at the end of the book he mentioned his online services....which cost around $600 per year!

I was at Kripalu Center in Lenox, Mass to see Master Buddhist teacher Sharon Saltzberg & discovered that Mr MacLeod was there leading a separate workshop. I was so gratified to see past lives and metaphysics at such a wonderful place like Kripalu!

I didn't know who he is before seeing his name at Kripalu; & regrettably, did not get to attend his session; I did, however, buy & read his book. It was a delightful and helpful read. Next year, I hope to be in his class. ❤

Wow!
This book is the first book ever that made me understand why people say “that booked made such a huge difference in my life.” This book answered so many questions for me, helped me understand so much about this world and about me, and gave me a lot of peace. I learned so so much from this book and will keep referring to it as much as I can.
I love this book and I highly recommend reading this phenomenal book! It’s incredible!

Well written book on soul development

Why do we come here lifetime after lifetime and how do we get through them? The author discusses the reasons we reincarnated over and over and how we finally decide we have learned enough about the physical plane and decide to return to where we came from in the spiritual planes.

This is the best book about reincarnation and past lives that I have read. It is fascinating to read all of the stories about how the author has helped many people heal from present day traumas by psychically identifying the traumas they brought into the present incarnation.

Very good writing and flow in the writing, but I expected so much more from the book. This was almost more a book about past life and its influence on this life.
Which is very nice to read about.
