When Karen Harris, commander of Unit T, a European force formed to combat human trafficking, comes up against one of the most dangerous criminal groups in the world, covert operators are sent in. These operators are about to face dangers even they could not envisage. Added to this, Karen has very real problems of her own, forcing her to stand away and unable to give support to her covert operators when it is most needed. Her option is to bring in a contract killer to protect the covert operators as every day the investigation into this group is clouded by more and more twist and turns, leaving Karen reeling. She's risking lives and even her own, in a desperate attempt to bring the situation back under control.
Compared to previous efforts which showed the nasty side of the trafficking business this book is censored and resorts to a did this, b did the other and feels like it was written by a different author rathe4 like Wilbur Smith is now. Lost its punch and very put down able. Poor and dull.
