Pretty standard legal thriller with some local color to make things more interesting for those of us in the Maine area. Lots of cliches and some stereotypes - all part of the genre I guess.
About a man who used to be a attorney but got in some trouble and went to jail. After he get out of jail he didnt want to be a attorney again. Things were changing and lots more corrupt officials and attorneys . His son get charged with murder after he got charged with the same murder. So he hunts info on these corrupt people as a way he might be able to fight these charges. Lots of fixing court cases and things going on. To what extent would you lie for your loved ones. You decide. He did.
Not your typical murder mystery. Very well written, with the exception of a few grammatical errors, and the story is fast-paced and exciting from the first to the last page.
