Oh I just love visiting the Sumner family! I love the tight bond all the brothers have! Jake was absolutely amazing! I love getting to know him better! I love the way he step up and was their for his daughter Becca! I love the connection he and his daughter had to Lina! They had some ups and downs but they made it worked! So happy they all had their happily ever after! 🥰💙

I absolutely enjoyed this story! This is one series that is at the top of my list of favorites. The four previous books have been excellent in their storylines with a great hero and heroine in each as well as secondary characters with the mother, and other family members and friends. With each new book I have to say I loved this one the best but I have to say this one really is my favorite. Any book that can make me laugh and cry during the course of reading it has my vote for favorite. Our hero in I’ll Be There For You is Jake Sumner who is at a crossroad regarding his career. While in the middle of all things crazy surrounding his boss, Jake gets an unexpected surprise that turns his world upside down. He does the only thing he can do; he goes home to Canyon Creek and to his family.
Lina Bianchi has made a career of bouncing from odd job to odd job and has worked for Jake’s family several times so she knows who he is. As they get to know each other with no strings attached, things get a little more tangled than either of them anticipated.
This story has such heart, love, laughter, heartache and humor that are definitely Ms. Ryan’s trademark. You will laugh one minute and cry the next but you will absolutely love watching these two navigate falling in love. Jake was so torn up not knowing what the right thing to do was and Lina was trying so hard to not do anything that would upset her family. I love the Sumner family and all the craziness between the siblings and the love and respect each has for their mother. There is nothing like strength and support from a loving family and this one has it in spades!

Once again, these authors give us a wonderful story in this series.
This one belongs to Jake Sumner and Lina Bianchi. Jake is one of the Sumner siblings, and a very successful political strategist who is currently living in California. Lina is the go to gal when business in Canyon Creek need help. Some might say she can’t commit.

But then she meets precocious Becca and her handsome father, Jake.
This is a story about family unity and their values, as well as a story about discovering who you really are and what is your passion. This is a story of changing truths & new beginnings. Jake learns he has a daughter he never knew about & has to figure out his new reality. He also has to deal with changing priorities & views. Life is full of changes & how you deal with them.
Lina has jumped from job to job. She says she gets bored too easily to settle for one job & her part time jobs make it easier to switch. No one is relying on her & left in the lurch when she’s bored. When she finally finds something she cares about, will she stick with it?
I really enjoyed the story in this one. Jake had to change his priorities & it really illustrated how burnt out he was with his old life. Lina stepped up in ways she never expected & learned something about herself too. The characters from the other books in the series visit & the interactions with them provide color & depth to the story. Even though this book is one in a series, each story is self contained & the characters are what makes it a series.

This is a series that gets better with each book. In this particular story our political adviser Jake gets the shock of his life when he finds a grandmother at his door with his daughter! A daughter he didn't know existed. One who pretty much loves all things Disney and gives him a mini education on their princesses. He's handled all kinds of tough situations for his politician boss, but handling a five year old girl with smarts and an attitude may just be beyond him.
When Jake brings Becca home to Canyon Creek to meet his family, the last thing he's looking for is a romantic entanglement with Lina. This is one hot Italian babe who knows just how to handle little girls. She's been looking after her brood of baby sisters long enough to know what's what! Becca is easy to love, and so is her father, but Lina doesn't want anything permanent. She doesn't do relationships and Jake is as complicated as it can get!

ONE HEARTWARMING TALE!!!
Ahhh. This is such a cute, heartwarming read with all the drama a sane person can handle. Good thing I'm not sane. LOL. This dynamic duo really pulled out all the stops on this little baby right. The characters are well developed and believable. Their personalities are unique with vast and varied traits that play off one another in perfect balance. The scenes are so graphic and detailed it paints an amazing backdrop that really makes the storyline pop. Lori and Kay really show how talented and imaginative they are with this page turning dynamo. The twists and turns are exciting and keeps your attention on the pages as the story unfolds. You can feel all the emotions the characters feel flowing through the entire tale. Lori and Kay did an excellent job bringing this read toget her beautifully. Great job guys, thanks for sharing this awesome read us.

Another win for the Canyon Creek saga. Jake Sumner, Political Strategist is faced with the news that he has a five yr old daughter he never knew about, is stunned and totally out of his realm. He returns to Canyon Creek for the help and support of his family on what to do with this precocious little girl.
Lina Bianchi is a helper. She helps anyone who needs her in her in Canyon Creek. She's trying to atone for her wayward high school years. She finally finds something that means something to her and her environment. He needs her, she needs him.
The attraction is immediate. The feelings are all there. They both fight it.
Another well-scripted love story from Lori Ryan and Kay Manis. A great addition to a sprawling family saga. Totally worth the read.

Another fantastic book in the Canyon Creek, CO series. This is Jake's story and it will grab your heartstrings right from the beginning when Jake finds out he's a father to a precocious 5 year old little girl he knew nothing about. With her in his life, Jake's well ordered life is turned upside down and he knows he needs all the help he can get. So he takes Becca home to Canyon Creek were the family will circle around him. That's when he meets Lina Bianchi. She's a powerhouse of a woman who helps anyone who needs it and fights for everything she's passionate about. It doesn't take long for Lina to get under his skin and have him questioning many of his life choices.
I absolutely loved this book and I'm sure you will too. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

I really enjoyed this book. Although it was Jake and Lina's story, Becca was the star of the story.
This was a sweet sexy romance that had moments of angst in a couple of different areas with a couple of different people. I love the small town feel, the sense of community and family, along with the love and support people show each other.
I also hope Lina's roommates Devlin and Can get their own stories. I laughed, smiled, was a little melancholy, and a bit sad a moments, but overall, this was absolutely a feel good book. Not to mention, you get an epilogue and a HEA!

So Good! Canyon Creek is the place to be. In this story, Lori Ryan and Kay Manis write about finding your passion. This really hit home for me, because time passes so quickly. The high-powered job doesn’t mean much if you don’t have a passion for it. Jake discovers this when his priorities change. Line discovers this when she perceives a threat to the community she loves. And then there’s Becca, who changes everything! Small-town romance, family, and swear jars all play here. And those Sumner brothers are hot. Get this one, and if you enjoy this trip to Canyon Creek, go back for more with the other books in this series. I can’t wait for the next one!

An enjoyable 5th installment! I really liked Jake, and it was clear that he was trying to do his best for Becca. Suddenly learning that you have a 5 year old child from a one night stand is definitely jarring, and his reaction seemed realistic. I loved how the family pitched in and it was fun to see them all build a relationship. Lina and Jake made a nice couple, and I adored how she handled Becca. Overall a nice story and looking forward to more!

I loved the story line. But there were some misspelled words throughout the book. There was also a point in chapter 3 where, pulling their bags out of his car, Jake doesn’t know any of the Disney characters on Becca’s bag. Then in chapter 4, going into the house, he magically knows every Disney character by heart. So a couple of inconsistencies. I felt like Lina’s history was just barely covered. But overall, the story line was OK, and the characters were extremely likable. Another good addition to the Canyon Creek series.

I adored this book!! This story really pulled all my heartstrings. It is a well-written book that has beautifully developed characters.
The emotions, the humor & their chemistry pulled me in, & kept me hooked. I laughed,

I really liked this entertaining and sweet read. Jake learns he has a 5-year-old daughter he never knew about so he decides to go home to his family. There is meets Lina and sparks fly. Drama, chemistry and lots of emotion. An enjoyable read.

I loved Jake and Lina's sweet, emotional love story, and Becca was adorable! This is a great series, and I always look forward to returning to Canyon Creek and catching up with the Sumner family. I can't wait to read Grant's story, and I really hope that Dak and Cam get their own stories too!!
