Photographs interspersed with testimony from women in Georgia affected by the 2008 Russo-Georgian war - soldiers' widows and mothers, peasants, teachers, children, a nun, a military medic, IDPs, residents of areas bordering on the occupied zone, Georgians, Ossetians, mixed families. Very affecting document, sensitively and tactfully done. English translation is good, better than in most Georgian-English bilingual books produced here.
