Quinn Security: The Complete Series

Rate this book
Devil’s Fist, Wyoming might be nestled in the foothills of majestic and peaceful Yellowstone National Park, but this quaint, storybook town is far from peaceful, and the five men who run Quinn Security—brothers Troy, Kaleb, Shane, Conor, and Dean—know exactly why. Their town is under attack by a rogue shifter, and this time, their werewolf senses might not be enough to restore the peace.

TROY
The eldest Quinn might look thirty-five, but he’s walked the Tetons, Great Plains, and now Yellowstone for a century. Having served his country in three separate wars, shifting both aliases and appearances, alike—Troy can turn wolf by the light of a full moon and shift back in the blink of an eye—this towering and tatted alpha has inherited the Quinn throne, the clan of which has been operating hidden in Devil’s Fist since the first Native American took his last breath. But when a shy, bookish woman by the name of Reece Gladstone becomes a target after her co-worker is brutally murdered, Troy must untangle his complicated feelings for the librarian, feelings that have been percolating, unrepressed yet denied for years, and use every shifting trick in the book to keep her safe.

KALEB
Kaleb Quinn, the second eldest of the Quinn clan, likes his women like he likes his meat—raw and juicy. But recently, his playboy approach has been stilted and much to his chagrin, but not because the rumors have caught up to him. In his dreams, an ethereal woman with flowing blonde hair and a distinct darkness behind her twinkling eyes has been creeping in and overpowering his subconscious. Kaleb knows what it means, and who she is—his one true mate who he’s never met in the flesh. But as danger closes in, it seems that all of his dreams are quickly turning into a nightmare he can’t escape.

Lucy Cooper has a reputation, as well, but it’s far from flattering. The slender diner waitress has seen the dark, rogue shifter up close and personal, but the Sheriff’s take on the matter, which the residents have also adopted, is that she’s on drugs and not to be trusted. Nothing could be further from the truth, but when a body turns up dead in her apartment, there’s only one man in town who believes her innocence—Kaleb Quinn.

SHANE
The war might have ended overseas, but Shane Quinn never came back from it. Not mentally. A loner to the bone, with battle scars peppered across his ripped physique, Shane walks the streets like dry ice wafting over cold steel. A smile hasn’t cracked his hardened exterior in all the years his brothers have known him, the running joke being that he was born angry and ready to annihilate. But when the Sheriff’s daughter, Whitney Abernathy storms into his life, Shane finds himself disarmed by her fiery spirit. Given the bodyguard’s fighting nature, this poses a serious problem.

CONOR
Conor Quinn knows that everlasting immortality for any werewolf hinges upon their eternal union with their one true mate. Three of his four brothers have found safety in having bonded to their destined mates, now functioning with fearless presence and power. Conor finds himself compelled, on a mission to connect with his own. But just because the determined, former marine and secret werewolf has chosen Rachel Clancy to be his one true mate, doesn’t mean that’s their destiny. Or does it?

DEAN
The youngest of the Quinn clan, Dean puts his love of Devil’s Fist before all else. Rugged and handsome, the tall, brooding werewolf is heavily tatted and deeply scarred and there’s nothing he hates more than a spoiled rich girl.

Exciting, soul stirring, captivating

Really loved how this read captivated me. The longer I read the more exciting it got. You could really feel what the characters were feeling.

Did not finish this book

The only reason I'm giving this 3 stars instead of 2 is because all of these books had really good story lines.
I tried to finish- I really did. I reached 51%, but after so much repetition I couldn't take it anymore. They repeat what they're doing, where they're going; why they can, why they cant. Then the women were back and forth constantly. They liked the men, then they didnt.
I really think this story could have been much better if the inner monologues were shortened and the plot quickened a bit. I found myself skipping ahead a few pages every chapter just to skip the repetition.
Even the sexual chemistry was lacking with the main characters. Then the actual action was lacking any steam. Which was sad, because the women were sweet and the men even sweeter. This story could have been so good, but it wasn't, so sadly 3 stars it is.

Wow! Which book was the best? All of them! Everyone was a ten!!! I loved them all! Lots of twists and turns! Hot guys, meet beautiful, strong, courageous women! The men met their matches in their mates! Lots of excitement and action, adventures abound! All ended with a truly wonderful love story with everyone fighting a common emeny! Good overcomes eviel! In the end they all had happy everafters with a lot of surprises throw in, more than one couple found unexpected love, goes to show that one is never to old to find true love! Loved the many vastly different plots of each book! None disappoint, excellent storytelling, fantastic surprises, and wonderful characters to fall in love with! Read in order as they continue where the one before ends! Loved, loved them!!

Nice Read!

I enjoyed the story line of these 5 books, but I have a couple of questions that I want to ask the Author. Being at risk of spoiling the story for others, I won't ask here. I'm not used to authors using the term Werewolf. It's always been Wolf Shifter. That, took some getting used to. And some of these women in this series were made to look like they were air headed at times. It's one thing to be independent and another to just be plumb crazy putting yourself in harm's way. These books are interesting and I think others will enjoy reading them! With all of that being said, I still recommend these books!

Repetitive and boring

I read the Castle Investigations series and was excited to see another box set by the author. It was like night and day. This series was extremely repetitive and full of useless information and by book 3 i was only reading every other page and by book 5 maybe a few pages a chapter. The climax of the whole series ...catching the bad guy...was weak and disappointing as that was the whole reason I kept with the books. Do not recommend.

Quinn Security

I think next to the villain Dante, the sheriff was the most hated person for me. I couldn't stand him although I'm glad he is now on their side. Glad all the brothers got their happily ever after. Rachel was really annoying to me.

4.5 tars

Intriguing book series of wolf shifters. The brothers and their one true mates are likeable, intelligent, strong, and nearly immortal. The sex scenes are mild and only a few f bombs.

Quinn Security

Very good series except for one thing. A person who works with horses is called a wrangler. A corral is the enclosure you put horses in.

Good series until the end

This series of books all lead up to what should. Have been a grand finale, but instead, it fizzled out like a wet candle.
