Working undercover as a cybernetic prostitute on a Saturn mining colony to expose the intergalactic sex industry, reporter Sadie Thomas finds herself succumbing to out-of-this-world ecstasy at the hands of two vice detectives from Old Earth. Original.
Evangeline Anderson is a registered MRI tech who would rather be writing. And yes, she is nerdy enough to have a bumper sticker that says “I’d rather be writing.” Honk if you see her! She is thirty-something and lives in Florida with a husband, a son, and two cats. She had been writing erotic fiction for her own gratification for a number of years before it occurred to her to try and get paid for it. To her delight, she found that it was actually possible to get money for having a dirty mind and she has been writing paranormal and Sci-fi erotica steadily ever since.
I saw this book and realized I had read it YEARS ago!!! What I remember most about it was that I wanted the two guys to seriously go at it, but they never did. I think this book really pushed me into MM LAND because I craved what wasn’t in this book.
Other than that, it was a story that was hard to buy, but fun enough when not taken seriously!
If this had been strictly a sci-fi story without the erotic elements, it probably would have held up better as a whole. And as much as I liked the sex scenes between the three characters, I can’t help but think that the story could have done without the heroine. The two heroes, despite their somewhat stilted character development, seemed to be slightly more dynamic as a duo. It seemed that Sadie had been added to the story just to make up a threesome for two straight guys. I almost wish the whole thing could be rewritten, only the two mind-linked vice cops would be gay, hot for each other, and fighting big-bad crime in space. What’s wrong with that idea? Not a thing! I’d read it in a heartbeat!
It's hard to say how I really feel about this book... my actual rating is a 3.5 but I decided to round up since I like the author (probably not a very good reason but there it is). Anyways, my only objection to this book is that it took the heroine tooooo long to decide she loved Blake and Holt. Get over your issues already and just love them... thats all they want (and some hot menage sex but thats beside the point). If you like sci-fi romance with a lot of sexual tension and a bit of action then this might be the book for you. Happy Reading!
This dry sandwich needs some jalapenos & chilli pepper. Not toasty enuff. So weird that heroine cries out «Goddess» in the throes of passion. Bettah if «Sexual healing» is on while reading this. Apparently blow job & menage could pull hero back from the brink of expiration. Whodathunk ? Heroine gives undercover a whole new meaning. Her pie holes need some jammin... Journalism serves as camouflage when craving for creamy jism. Sign me up !
Só estava me estressando. E também não gostei de como eles ficaram juntos no final, porque foi mais por necessidade do que por vontade.
I read this just for fun while I was waiting to get a book I needed for a monthly challenge. I almost gave this book 4 stars. If there were 3.5 it'd get that for sure. I hate the cover. Sadie is brunette and the cops have black and blonde hair. The cover makes it look like some 70's porn, lmao.
I liked the book. I especially liked Blake. I had a really hard time liking Sadie. I can't put my finger on why exactly. The world building was great although there were so many things that I would have to re-read sentences to figure out what they were by the context. This is usually the way with any sci-fi so I'm not complaining. I wouldn't mind seeing more from this world she put so much into. Like New Earth 2 or something? Just a thought.
This is more a comment than a review. I would suggest this book only if your a fairly rabid Anderson fan :) that said this was a wonderfully written sci/fi themed menage erotica novel. The right amount of sex and plot. I did like the heroine Sadie and her virgin complex which made her ever wavery descision to sleep with heroes Holt and Blake. A nail biter (lol, not really).
Enjoyed the Sci-fi aspect. The boys "secret" seemed to be not that big of a deal all though it continued to be through out the book. Sadie's repeating "I'm not that kind of girl" was silly and annoying.
A read once. Ignore the cover, it looks more like a strip club performance than the futuristic cop style story it tries to be. It contains m/f/m menage sex.
