The fifth of May is the single date that could change the course of one man’s life.
Mason Ritter does not want to go to Puebla, Mexico, with his long-time boyfriend, Miguel. He claims he does not want to deal with the hassle of traveling from San Antonio to Puebla. He doesn’t like the way Miguel pretends Mason is just his good friend when they’re around Miguel’s father. He doesn’t want to take the time off work...
But in reality, Mason has only one reason to avoid the Cinco de Mayo fiesta in Puebla—Anton Rocha.
Anton Rocha is engaged to Miguel’s sister, Pedra. Anton Rocha is off-limits. Anton Rocha is also the most desirable, intoxicating man Mason has ever met. And before the end of the fiesta, Mason is in serious danger of losing his heart...

I don't like liar, cheater and hypocrite and it's exactly what the two main character are. I stop at page 49/147 when Mason received a blowjob by his boyfriend while looking and mouthing 'I want you' to Anton. Even if you try to justified yourself by saying that Miguel's not a good boyfriend and that it's not cheating since they didn't have real sex...Nah! I don't buy it!

I liked the setting and the varied cast of characters. But for me the fact that these guys are both in supposedly committed relationships yet are kissing each other (and later on more), having sex with their partners while thinking/fantasizing about each other just didn't work for me as cheating/lying isn't something I like. Also, the name Anton made me think of an Anglo/European man not a Mexican which kept bugging me each and every time I saw the name. This one just didn't work for me. 2 stars since I finished it and the ending was kind of sweet.
Total cheater, cheater assface book but seeing as that doesn't bother me overly much, I liked this one. Didn't see how it could possibly work but of course it did.
