Simple but addictive
Once again, I really liked the style of this author who with a simple story managed to move me even when most events are predictable. She writes the story of people who are just human with their flaws, their doubts and their hopes. Even when they angry to the other, each member remains welded to others, like a family.
The characters discovered in "Cole" are still good, just like the little world that Sheridan Anne has created. Their only fault is to spend their time deciding what others should do instead of solving their own doubts.
This part is the story of Caden one of the owners of the fighting gym from the previous episode. He has been secretly sleeping for a year with the sister of the other co-owner, Cole, his best friend since childhood. But this one is very protective of his sister and Caden and Imogen do not want to disappoint him by admitting their relationship, not to mention that Imogen is in total denial of what binds them.

Caden has been sleeping with Cole’s little sister, Imogen, for over a year now and no one knows about it. Imogen is afraid of how her big over-protective brother, is going to react especially, because it has been going on for so long. Imogen has also convinced herself this is more of a physical thing, and nothing else is going on between her and Caden. Caden’s point of view on the entire situation is a little different – sure he loves the physical aspect of their relationship, but he realizes that there is more there and he’s more than ok with that and would love to see where it goes – if he survives Cole’s rage when he tells him what’s been going on.
I really loved Caden and Imogen and especially the way they have a little help from a boy they’re both trying to help. I loved the way the story ended and can’t wait to see what’s in store for Luke in the next book!

Well hot damn. Right off the start, there was a plot twist that I did not see coming, at all. For about a year, Caden has been sneaking around with his best friend, Cole's little sister, Imogen. While they both agreed in the beginning to a strictly friends with benefits relationship, there is no doubt in my mind, the two are absolutely in love with one another. Imogen can try and deny it all she wants, she has feelings for Caden on a more than physical level. In the end, after she finally stops denying it, they finally ended up together, and what a perfect ending to the book it was.
I absolutely adored this story and all the characters in it. I love how it was written in both POV's, it made it easier to connect to each character.

This is the second book about the Rebel's Advocate and as much as I enjoyed the first book, Cole, this one is even better. Caden and Imogen have been secretly dating but what will happen when Imogen's big brother and Caden's best friend find out the truth? Caden is filled with twists and turns and enough passion to have you panting. Enjoy it! Savor it!! Read it again!!! If you haven't already read Sheridan Anne's other book, in the Devil's Advocate or or the Kings of Denver series, give yourself an early Christmas gift and indulge in them all, you won't regret it.

This is an angsty, steamy, heartwarming read. Caden is part of the Rebels Advocate crew. He's Cole's best friend and he's known Cole's sister Imogen since he was 13 and she was 9. One year ago Caden and Imogen crossed the line from friends to sex partners. They keep it secret. Though Caden wants to tell Cole, Imogen knows that when they do things will end. Caden knows he loves Imogen, but she insists to keeping feelings out of their arrangement. It's a Fast-paced story, and book 2 of the series, though stand alone, it's best to read them in order, stories with the other characters are moving along throughout each book.

How the relationship got from point A to B was slow but nothing about the sex was slow-burn. Caden and Imogen has been dirtying the sheets for a year and they didn’t think they have a relationship? That’s Denial with an uppercase D! I was actually worried on how the author can tie it in all together in a way that’s not forced HEA but Ms. Anne wrote a satisfactory path to the ending. I also like the background story on Imogen’s profession. It definitely made the book interesting. [I received an advanced copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.]

Very well written story with likeable well described characters. They develop well through the story. I like it is written in dual POV which gives the reader more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters and brings the story closer. The story flows well of the pages and captivates the reader.

Another great book by Sheridan Anne. She once again brings strong characters in Caden and Imogen along with their steamy chemistry and fiery passion. She fills the story with lots of lovin' and tons of emotion as well as some twists along the way. It's an interesting and entertaining story and I enjoyed reading. Highly recommend this book.

Caden and Imogen bring a fun twist to the best friend sibling romance. Deny all they want but it don't change that even after a year these two are together.
The story flowed better than any river. I enjoyed that these two felt like they could be your friends. They are not perfect, but they are perfect for each other.

I wasn't expecting to love this 2nd book as much as the 1st because I adored that read , but oh boy I was in for a shock because if possible I loved this book as much , if not more . It flows well from the beginning and the characters draw you in to their lives and their quest for love . I can't wait to continue what's turning out to be a wonderful series .

Great series. This was a wonderful addition. Caden and Imogen were great characters. They were hot and good together. They hid their relationship, he was her brothers best friend. Will the truth come out? will they stop hiding? It is worth the read to find out. It is well written and smooth. I enjoyed this book and recommend it to all. I have really enjoyed reading this book, the author did such a great job developing the characters, that I feel like I really know them, and not just the major two characters, but the minor ones too.
Also, it caused me to lose quite a bit of sleep while I was reading it, because it was so hard to put down at night.
What you need to know: this book contains no cheating, no cliff-hangers and a HEA.

Brilliant book 📖 Caden is Coles best friend and partner in crime ....who loves 💗MMA🤼♂️🥊🥋 fighting and his gym which he owns with his 4 best mates ....he loved his life being a ladies man and getting into mischief, until one night with few to many drinks🥃 ends up with the one person he shouldn’t touch .......then boom 💥 after that it’s game on ..... awesome read , loved it and to find out you will just have to read it .... you want be disappointed ......5 🌟😍

Caden and Imogen practically grew up together their whole lives. Once their "benefits relationship" they decided to keep it a secret due to Imogen being afraid that Cole wouldn't understand. Lots of cute things happen and I loved how their story grew into becoming a family of their own. 👨👩👧👦

A great read with lots of giggle worthy parts alittle disappointed that there wasn't a lot of suspense to this book like the previous one definitely a book for anyone wanting the HEA this book has it in spades.

this was a great MMA fighter story that had great themes and an amazing cast of characters who pulled you in from the first page and kept you there long after and waiting for the next story in the series!

I enjoyed this new "Rebels Advocate" story! It's a fairly quick read that is well developed and well written. I really liked Caden and Imogen! Great characters with great passion. I liked how their relationship and this story developed. This is a 4.5* for me.
