Cómo esquivar a un dragón (How to Dodge a Dragon): Una lectura devocional de Apocalipsis

Rate this book

What were the needs of the Lord’s church when the apostle John wrote Revelation? Did John want to frighten the believers? Mark Moore underscores the consoling quality of the book, and the encouragement it gave to its first readers. He suggests that John’s Revelation should have the same effect on us, in our own tempestuous times.

Brother Moore does not give a calendar of the last days. He does not unravel every number and unlock every symbol in this Scripture from John. Instead, in nine brief lessons, he points to the context of the persecuted church when it was still very young, and how this book helped her to stay faithful. Then he focuses on the context of today’s believers, and how reading John’s Revelation still helps God’s children. As always, Mark Moore’s teaching includes practical application and the challenge to follow the Lord more faithfully.
