I'm a proud born-and-bred Jersey Girl with Brooklyn roots. And I still live where it all started - I married my very own alpha male many eons ago, and have an amazing and beautiful daughter, and a teenage hockey-playing son (who charms and frustrates me at every turn). Free time is always a luxury and I spend the bulk of what time I manage to scrounge up lost in the worlds of my own making. I love to read and write hot, sexy and emotional stories about people both glamorous and not-so-glamorous. Be warned - some of my characters can even be downright un-heroic at times, which is part of what makes them so interestingly sexy, in my opinion!

On the rare occasions I'm not taking advantage of that valuable free time by writing, you can catch me poking around in my other favorite twisted historical worlds of the History Channel's Vikings, Sleepy Hollow, Knightfall and even Reign, even though those are either already over, or coming to an end (Yay for DVD's and streaming!) I'm also a huge fan of Harry Potter, Highlander, Charmed (the original), and DragonBall Z! Yeah, a strange fandom medley, but each one features some of the sexiest villains ever. Did I mention I love villains? And of course, let's not forget my beloved NY Rangers.

Katrin is a pure young woman who has been told by her mistress, Gunilla, she will lose her gift as a Seeress if she lays with a man. Katrin has dutifully followed her mistress but is concerned that Gunilla is not being honest and is trying to take advantage of the villages they have been visiting. Then she meets the man of her dreams - Hradi. Hradi, son of the Jarl, is quite taken with the innocent Katrin. He makes a bargain to give Katrin his bed to sleep in alone with the condition she spends the rest of the nights with him. Katrin agrees to Hradi's proposal with the condition that she doesn't have to have carnal relations (yeah - a horny Viking is really going to just let you sleep).

Gianna Simone writes the way I wish more historical romance writers would. Sure most write a good story, but Simone puts the extra zing in there to be realistic to what romance really is. This is a very sexy story with a huge amount of detail of how Hradi give Katrin a taste of what she is missing while still keeping his promise. The love story is fun and the mystery behind Gunilla is quite delicious.

I always know when I read Gianna Simone it is going to be a great story, panty melting, and an overall good time. Norseman's Gift delivered in all the right ways!

I Enjoyed This Story!

Katrin and Hradi were an unusual pair. He was going to make her his slave. Good thing he didn’t with her brothers arriving. I didn’t expect that. It was sad that her parents were dead. I’m glad that Gunilla paid the price for all that she did. The storyline was very good. On to the last story Kori and Geira’s Daughter. Norseman’s Ordeal. 💜💜💜💜💜
