The conclusion to Dylan and Audrey’s story begun in Sweet Liar.

Dylan Locke knows that pining over the young ingenue Audrey Lind is pointless. He can’t offer her what she wants. He definitely can’t give her what she needs. Thank goodness she’s half a world away, and he doesn’t have to deal with his attraction head on.

But fate has other plans for him, and when Audrey once again lands in his path, it’s only too easy to fall back into their easy rhythm. And then their easy banter. And of course, each other’s arms.

He tells himself nothing has changed. She still wants forever, and he still thinks tomorrow is long enough. But watching her search isn’t as easy as he thought it would be, and now Dylan must figure out if he’s really the love Scrooge he professes to be or if he’s been Fate’s willing victim all along.

I am in love with Dylan and Audrey's story! It's so rare for an author to have something I normally don't want in a book, and I didn't love it despite it, but because of it. So what is it? Call me old fashioned but I want the hero to chase the heroine. That's what I love but in this duet Audrey does the chasing. It not only worked, I'm actually glad she did it.

There were a few factors that made this work for me. The biggest is that this was done in Dylan's POV. I knew what he was thinking and I knew how badly he wanted Audrey. There is a huge age difference between these two. She is in her 20's and he is in his 40's. She is just starting out her life and he is already weighed down by life. He knew he wasn't what was best for her and he truly wanted her to have what she deserved. That right there won me over.

Audrey is 24, and she is a mature 24 year old. She is young and vivacious and exactly what Dylan needed to get him to believe in happily ever after again. It was a slow transformation and I loved seeing how she brought him to life.

If you aren't a fan of girl-chase-boy like me, give this one a try. It's so worth it!

I didn’t belong in her world. She didn’t belong in mine. Life after love was a desert. That was where I lived. That was my truth. Any vision I had of Audrey being there with me was a mirage.

The conclusion to the ”Dirty Sweet” duet started off a bit slow and I have to admit that it didn’t quite measure up to book one. It took me a while to figure out that the story was picking up two years after the last time Dylan and Audrey saw each other. I don’t know if it was the writing or possibly the recent time change that had my head in a fog. Eventually, though I was able to follow along.

This book is entirely told in Dylan’s POV. I was wondering where the sexy and dominant Brit had gone. He always seemed to talk and behave as if he were an eighty-year-old man. If I’m not mistaken, he was in his early forties, quite far from being an old man. That really bugged me a lot and his stubbornness about not wanting to be in a committed relationship was beyond irritating.

I don’t want this to sound like an entirely negative review. As I got further into the story, I did end up enjoying it. I loved how it ends. What can I say? I’m a sucker for an HEA!

Here are my overall ratings:

Hero: 3.5
Heroine: 3.5
Plot: 3.5
Angst: 4
Steam: 5
Chemistry Between Hero & Heroine: 5

I wish I loved it more 😕

Although in Sweet Liar, Dylan Locke was totally drool worthy with his British accent and his cool style and his “I am your daddy but I want to act as a sensible grown up" behaviour, in Sweet Fate I couldn't stand him.
He still wants Aubrey, but he feels that
everything is pointless,
he is too old,
Aubrey is too young and too romantic,
they have no future,
he is just her mentor and not her lover etc etc etc

This book is entirely told in Dylan’s POV, so we can read all his internal unbearable personal struggle.
Someone who is in his early forties is far from old for my personal standards. I couldn’t get all this pain and confusion and the fighting of his feelings.

Thank God fate and Aubrey were not paying attention to Dylan’s stupidity and the girl got her man in the end!

Dirty Sweet Duet is the series I fall for Miss Paige. Her romance story is dirty and steamy. I like the combination of both. I read many books of age gap and forbidden romance. I like Sweet Fate very very much. Miss Paige does not only focus on the sex, but also on the characters development.

Sweet Fate brings the final conclusion of Audrey and Dylan HEA romance. Miss Paige explore deeply into their fears, their age gap, how different they both are and their family. I love their banter, their chemistry. I also love how they grow up from their fear and be strong for their love. And the narrator, Shane East done a very good job bringing Dylan to live.

Looking forward for other books by Miss Paige.

Dylan Locke and Audrey Lind’s story began in Sweet Liar where they met in New York and shared explosive passion together. Dylan couldn’t get over their age difference, and felt he wasn’t what she needed or deserved. He didn’t do committed relationships, and didn’t believe in forever or happy endings. He was a cynic who closed down his emotions long ago after a broken heart destroyed him. He’s accepted his bachelor status, and co-owns an advertising firm called Reach, Inc. He runs their offices in London. He hasn’t seen Audrey for several months, and after secretly pining for her was trying to move on. She had her entire future ahead of her, and they had different goals. Audrey believed in fate, and that the universe would bring her one true love into her life. She wanted the complete fairytale, and was holding out for her happily ever after.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Audrey was just a fantasy Dylan was determined to stop fixating over. He didn’t belong in her world, and it was time to let her go. Then when he least expects it their paths cross again, and he doesn’t have the will power to stay away anymore. She was still absolutely irresistible, and he wanted her, but should they complicate things again? She's still not looking for anything casual, and he still believes he has nothing to offer her. They try to be just friends, but the sexual tension is on fire. He learned the only way to survive is without unnecessary entanglements, but can he actually watch her date? Giving her up isn't as easy as he thought it would be, and soon they decide to try an arrangement they think might work. He just has to protect his heart by keeping her at arm's length. Easier said than done. Soon it's pure ecstacy when they touch, and he's developed feelings that he doesn't know what to do with. Suddenly he's attached to her, and very confused. Until Audrey he'd been numb inside. Is he prepared to let her go, or will he finally stand up to his fears and risk it all for love?

Sweet Fate: Dirty Sweet #2 is the conclusion of Dylan and Audrey's love story. I really enjoyed getting their HEA, and look forward to more in this series!

-My vision tunneled to only see her. Audrey Lind. The most beautiful woman in existence.

-I was a slave to her at this point. I would follow wherever she led as long as she let me.

-I loved how Audrey made me feel. I loved how she made me want to let loose and step out of my comfort zone and be engaged.

-If I kissed her again, I was certain I’d never be able to stop.

-Her touch sent warmth shooting through my limbs. And the feel of her, the weight of her in my arms, was like finding gravity. Like discovering the best ballast. Like being firmly anchored after too long adrift at sea.

Please read the first books in this series/duets first if you haven't yet! They all basically happen at the same time!

A little bit of time has gone by since Dylan and Audrey's short time in New York in book #1. He's been in London for a few months. She finished college. Then they met again for a minute at Donovan's wedding and then another while goes by after that until ....

Dylan suddenly finds Audrey in London.

Fate? ☺

Well, that was adorable and London-y and sweet and sexy and a little heartbreaking!

I still don't like huge age-gap romances. Eight years is kinda my limit. The Dylan-Audrey age gap is 19 years! That's really a lot.

But I really adore Dylan and he so deserves to find a forever love.
And Audrey is just the person for the job!

So cute those two. They both don't really want to start something. Dylan because he thinks he's way too old and he doesn't do love anymore and Audrey because she thinks Dylan doesn't want her. But of course they both want each other like crazy. Might take them a while to get to that happy end - but the reader enjoys every moment of that journey!

Great romance! I even shed some tears!!

I wouldn't have minded if the first book would've been added to the beginning of this one - like a part 1 and part 2 thingy maybe. I don't like two books if one is enough.
And I could've done without the creepy dirty talk. But I still loved the story!

SWEET FATE was a sexy and adorable age-gap romance! Hurry to your nearest amazon for your own Dylan - this one is MINE!

OH. MY. GOODNESS. I. LOVE. THIS. BOOK. Sweet Fate was everything I wanted and SO MUCH more! Dylan and Audrey are seriously one of my absolute favorite couples. I could not have been more addicted to their story. The Dirty Sweet Duet covered so many of my romance bases. Older man. Younger women. Age Gap. British Alpha. DILF. Kismet. It's a original, and engaging read. After this duet age gaps definitely made my list of favorite troupes. The chemistry this story packed was off the charts. I melted. Swooned. And melted again. The more I read, the more I wanted. I could NOT devour the pages quick enough. Every page only making me greedier than the last. This is one of those stories that stick with you. I feel a book hangover coming. I wanted more. I could have read about Dylan and Audrey for many more books. They was simply beautiful together. They were as complicated as they were magical. I never quit rooting for them. Their growth ans development over this duet brought fourth all the feels. Dylan and Aubrey are a emotional rollercoaster ride you are not ready to end.

"She was a cataract covering the lens of the eye— it was impossible to see the world without seeing her.

Audrey is seriously one of my favorite heroines. Everything about her lured you in. It was easy to see why so many characters loved her. Shes the heroine you want to make your bestfriend. She was sweet innocence, with a mix of carefree and young. I loved how Audrey's character knew what she wanted, and refused to settle for less. She was headstrong and wise beyond her years. Her witty, enthusiastic attitude was easy to admire. She brought a light this story desperately needed.

"And while I fell more and more in love with him, all I could do was hope beyond hope that the stars had something in store for us that I couldn’t begin to imagine."

Dylan Locke is mine. Seriously I call dibs. I have officially found my next book boyfriend. He is one of those damaged, stubborn, set in his ways alphas every women wants to change. He is the perfect contradiction. He is one of those alphas who keeps you on your toes. One minute he has you wanting to strangle him for being so stubborn. The next he has you melting in his charm. My heart broke for the vulnerable Dylan, haunted and drowning in his past. Even at his weakest, his character always remained strong.

"though I could never have her, though we were fated to be two ships that passed in the night, Audrey Lind was not a woman I was getting over anytime soon."

*5 STARS*
I honestly wish I could give this book more stars like it deserves. This was one explosive ending to a even more explosive duet. Sweet Fate is going straight into my best reads of 2019 folder. I can not recommend reading Dylan and Audrey's story enough.

AUDIO EDITION: 2.5 stars

Shane East and Carly Robins did a good job narrating. Shane East's voice/accent was so hypnotic that sometimes I had to rewind the audio because I was so in love with how he said things rather than what he said.

Overall it was an okay read but the story line was bland and I struggled to remain interested. Despite the great male narration, I had a difficult time liking Dylan. He is a male version of a "Debbie Downer" with his constant complaining and insecurities that dragged me right into boredom.

My rating was higher due to the fabulous male voice description"/

I am a little conflicted about this book and also in the minority. I love a point of view from the hero. They are really usually so insightful and real. But in this instance, I was just so frustrated about how much of a repetitive nature it was. For 3/4 of the book, it was a bit of a pity party.....I am too old for the heroine, I don’t want the same things, I can’t give her what she wants, I am divorced, I have a teenage who is closer in age to her than me.......it was always the glass half empty. Their “friends” relationship just didn’t have any spark for me because Dylan didn’t have any real courage in love. While I know that he felt things for her in his mind, it still created a flat enviroment fot me.

I did enjoy Audrey. She was what a 24 yr old would be in my mind. I will say that she was the one to always make the first move with Dylan so I give her credit for her tenasity. I understand that she believed in her kismet but getting Dylan to believe it was a bit of a sturggle while he waged his own war within his head.

I will say that I thoroughly enjoyed the last quarter of the book. There was drama that helped move their relationship forward finally. I would have enjoyed it more if they would have gotten together sooner and the reader would have gotten to enjoyed them being together as a couple for more time. The epilogue was lovely and it did help with my feelings for the book.

How do you review perfection? What the heck do you say about a book that was just absolutely perfect? Do you talk about the characters and how much you liked them? Do you say you couldn't put it down? Do you say that books like this are the reason the author is one of your favorites?

I guess you start with that, by saying it was exactly what you wanted it to be...for all of those reasons.

There were no parts of this I would change, there was nothing that seemed out of place or out of character. It flowed, I didn't want to put it down. I was up way too late reading, and finishing this book was the first thing I thought of when I woke up this morning.

Dylan. I felt for him so completely. With his struggle, with the reasons for it, and with how heartfelt it was. A lot of times heroes in books have things that are keeping them from the relationship that is right in front of them, and often you find yourself annoyed that they are missing what is right in front of them. But Dylan and his story is different...you don't get annoyed, your heart breaks for him because he believes what he is saying, he believes that what he is doing is right, he believes that love isn't in the cards for him, that it won't work, and that Audrey is better off with someone else.

Imagine his surprise, and his angst (which the reader shares) when he realizes what we already know...that he is in love with Audrey. And, that he can't be with her because of those fears. he tries to ignore it, and then realizes that he really can't.

By that time, Audrey (and everyone else in his life, albeit in different ways) are calling him out on it, telling him that his fears are holding him back. But, and I won't spoil the "who" of it, he finally hears it from the person who actually gets through to him. And, isn't that just the way life works? You can be told the same thing 937 times, but there is always the one time, the one person, the one way of telling you, that you finally hear it. This scene is perfection...it's beautiful for it's raw emotional honestly and for how healing it is in a number of ways. This has to happen for them to get the HEA that we know is coming, but as is true about romance, since we know where it is going, it's all about the story and character development and the path the characters take to get to the HEA.

This book is told through Dylan's POV, and I think it is stronger for it. Audrey is fine with the age gap, with who Dylan is, with what he wants out of life, and the things he says he doesn't want in his future are things she is ok with compromising on (except loving him) so...the problem is Dylan, and it's really his book.

For someone who says she has a cold, back heart, Laurelin Paige sure knows how to write a compelling, angsty, beautiful romance...kind of makes me suspect she is secretly loving, kind, and a romantic. (Don't tell her I said that.)

I loved and recommend this book.

5 Kismet CROWNS

This book epitomizes what I love about a Laurelin Paige book. Dylan and Audrey just have that chemistry. It’s electric and HOT, and the connection follows them outside of the bedroom.

Dylan and Audrey do not change much from book one, but their is growth in their relationship, particularly Dylan’s viewpoint on love and relationships. In Sweet Lies, there was a heavy emphasis on these two getting down and dirty, and, yes, there were feelings under the surface but nothing of real substance. With this story, the substance comes. We see their feelings develop, we see Aubrey go after the future she wants, and we see Dyland grapple with his preconceived notions of romance and relationships.

What will really endear readers to this couple is the way Dylan loves Audrey. He cares for her and wants for her happiness. Even when you want to smack him in his head for his dumb decisions, readers can see that his feelings for her and his love for her drives it all.

The pacing and story telling was perfect for book two as well. Laurelin Paige takes her time developing a real connection between these two. We get to see them become friends and lovers over the course of this book. While the conflict is expected, I enjoyed the way it unfolded and was resolved by the characters. I liked Audrey’s part in it all. It brought the whole story full circle.

The conclusion to this duet makes this one of my very favorite Laurelin Paige stories. She consistently provides me with heat and heart, the perfect makeup for any romance!

P.S. I also listened to the audiobook, and I am in LOVEEEEEE! The narrators did an amazing job!

You need to have read Sweet Liar before diving into Sweet Fate.

Dylan and Audrey's story is all about fate, kismet, destiny - whatever you like to call it.

It took me a minute to remember how the first book ended, however once I remembered where I was at, it was a goer!

I didn't think I could like a book more than I did Sweet Liar, however Sweet Fate took things to a whole new level.

I was hooked on the story, just as Audrey and Dylan were hooked on each other. I couldn't put this book down once I had started it.

It didn't exactly go the route I thought it would go, and for that I am grateful. I like to be surprised by my stories.

Dylan and Audrey are just perfect for each other, and I wanted, no I needed them to make their HEA, no matter what trials and tribulations that had to endure.

Sweet Fate was the perfect end to our lovelies story, now I can't wait to see what Ms Paige brings us next.

3.75 marts tars! (that will make more sense when you read it)

I was very excited to finally get to read the final book in this duet. I was a bit disappointed right off the bat because it seemed to be slow moving.

I felt like Dylan being the “older” man and all, he would have had it a little more together. He was a bit of a “Debbie Downer” for more than half the book. Audrey on the other hand really seemed to have it together and was beyond her age in maturity which I found to be a real bonus while reading this.

I’m going to say for about the last 25% of the book it was very good and I would have been much happier with it if the change/progression in their relationship would have happened earlier.

I’m not going to say I didn’t like it because I did end up liking the book but I was underwhelmed. Maybe because I had such high expectations is why I’m a little let down.

Sweet Fate was one of my most anticipated read this month after the way Sweet Liar ended.
I was wondering if Dylan Locke would finally let his walls crumble or if he’ll fight like a lion against his feelings. I wanted to see how kismet was going to interfere in both our characters’ lifes.

Well I wasn’t disappointed with how Dylan struggles during all the book. The resistance was STRONG on his part; maybe too much but it fits his characters like a glove. Brooding, reluctant in giving any chance to love, Dylan is a real broken record when he comes to find reasons why he should stay away. Thankfully there are some moments of respite where I could hope for the best.

I would have loved to have some insight from Audrey which would have given Sweet Fate some more light but being in Dylan’s head all the time was also something I enjoyed because you feel it all through him. Sometimes it's hell but the "reward" is all better at the end.

Now I know I’ll have to be patient to have Cade’s book but I’m so intrigued by him! We know practically nothing about him and why he stays away.

A sweet strong heroine who must be such fun to be around!
She doesn't rest on her laurels waiting for him to get with the program; she continues to date in her quest to find THE ONE. It doesn't pan out well, but at least she tries.
He takes forrrrevvvvverrrr to finally commit - the poor man tried really hard to stand firm but she's just too adorable.

This duet should have been 1 book, though.

Oh Lordy this was exactly what I needed and wanted. I’ve been waiting and wanting and Laurelin Paige delivered in spectacular fashion. Dylan and Audrey are my new favorite couple from this series. I will always love Donovan Kincaid with my whole heart, but this couple was so much fun!

Dylan tried so hard to fight it, but Audrey vibrant and vivacious personality proved too much for him. She’s one of my favorite characters ever! So much freaking fun!!

This is the 2nd book in this duet and i would highly recommend reading the first book Sweet Liar.
I LOVE Dylan and Audrey's story!! love it!!
What did i love? Everything!!
Having Hooked up with Audrey a few months previously, and not being able to shake her from his mind, things take an unexpected turn when he finds that she's now living in London and right on his doorstep.
Dylan is the older man, rich, successful, but jaded with life and love. He's like little debbie downer when it comes to romance and everlasting love !!! Having been cheated on and divorce from his ex wife he was definitely now in the land of No getting the heart involved and definitely No Lasting relationships. I loved that we got this story from his pov. I adored knowing what he was thinking.
His struggle with the age difference, his fight with his feelings and his growing and acceptance that he had no control over KISMET!!
What can i say about Audrey? oh my she was a breath of fresh air and sunshine combined. A girl truly romantic at heart and believed in finding the one, the fairy tale, the happily ever after! I loved her outlook and most of all i love that this book as different!! She never give up chasing her man!! I giggled and laughed my way through this couples adventures. Even though the chemistry between both was burning up my pages, i loved that neither give in to the other, Dylan most definitely met his match and this author took us on a steamy, lustful falling in love trip to swooning heaven. After reading the first book, my expectations for this next part were high and it exceeded all my hopes!! Can i say again... I LOVED IT !!! Kismet at its best and a couple who surely did deserve it!!

What a Fabulous ending to this Dirty Sweet Duet!!! Dylan and Audrey's story will have you falling in love with their characters. Dylan, a man who fights his attraction to a woman that turns his world upside down, and Audrey, a young woman who knows what she wants and isn't afraid to pursue it. Laurelin Paige has written another steamy duet that I could not put down.

4.5 Kismet Stars!!!

Sweet Fate is the conclusion of Audrey and Dylan love story. Audrey is a younger sister of Dylan’s subordinate. She is all rose, sunshine, and romance something that Dylan is not. Dylan is worn-out completely done with commitment and marriage. What Dylan can offer Audrey is a few lessons between the sheets. After one incredible hot night, they parted way. Dylan went back to England. In the meantime, Audrey finished school and she is ready for her quest to find happily ever after. Too bad it won’t be with the sexy, older Brit … or is it?
Well “Kismet” has it, Audrey ended up in England working entry level at the Museum of Art. Audrey and Dylan ran into each other at the park and old sparks reignited. Dylan knows pining over Audrey is fruitless because he still cannot offer her more, but he could not help gravitating toward Audrey. The chemistry is too magnetic. Will Dylan have a change of heart this time around?
I do love the angst, the chase, the push and pull – that is my thing!!! However, I feel that Dylan is too stubborn, even given his past experience. Audrey on the other hand, constantly offering herself and Dylan continue to reject. Not until the last 20% of the book where catastrophe happened in Dylan’s life that he finally woke up. From there on, the juicy conclusion was perfect (not to worry though there are lots of hotness in between). I still adore the characters. Dylan is a complex character – older, wiser, albeit jaded he has a good heart. He deserves to find his one true soulmate. Audrey is much younger, vibrant, sweet. You can’t help but rooting for them. I like that the background happens in picturesque London. The scenery was described beautifully. I enjoy the chemistry between these two – hand down sizzling, erotic, crazy hot – true to Laurelin’s style 😊 Over all, the duet was an awesome read. Compelling storyline, angsty (which I love), beautiful romance.

Oh the pining! The unbelievable pining coming from this stubborn, jaded man!

Her touch sent warmth shooting through my limbs. And the feel of her, the weight of her in my arms, was like finding gravity. Like discovering the best ballast. Like being firmly anchored after too long adrift at sea.

I was not expecting this entire second installment to be from Dylan's POV, but what a pleasant surprise it was. Here, we're given another one of my favorite tropes . . . "we're gonna be only friends while I help you find a boyfriend, meanwhile, I'm gonna be so jealous the whole time."

Yes, Dylan's stubborness got on my nerves after a while, but this was such an enjoyable read that I couldn't find myself caring too much. And if I haven't mentioned it before, I'll always be a sucker for a man who's pining.

I loved how Audrey made me feel. I loved how she made me want to let loose and step out of my comfort zone and be engaged. I loved how she didn't seem to see me as an aging wanker, but as someone interesting. Someone worth spending time with. Someone with something to offer the world. I loved all of it. I loved her.

Laurelin Paige never stops mesmerizing and surprising me. She stuns me in a different way with every new book. No two stories are same by her yet they are all alike in a way because they are mindblowing greatness. Sweet Fate was no exception. Dylan Locke. One name. Multiple talents. More layers than I can count. And another perfect alpha man created by Laurelin Paige. If I loved him in Sweet Liar, I love him even more in this book. If that is possible.

Dylan Locke is a full on cynic when it comes to love. He wants Audrey, the sweet young free soul who lights up his dull boring and lonely existence. But he is afraid of commitment as he doesn't want to get hurt again. His bitterness from old life is holding him back. He is sure he can't give Audrey what she wants from life. Relationship. Future. Kids. So he is denying the deep emotional bond and attraction between them. but fate has something else in store for them. So he meets Audrey again in London by accident as she is living in London working as intern in National Gallery. I love this girl so much. She may believe in Kismet. She may be waiting for the One. But that doesn't stop her from loving Dylan and putting her heart on the firing line. She knows all the risk and still this adorable compassionate loyal girl is ready to take a chance. Dylan's vulnerability made my heart ache so badly. He almost lost her due to his stupid hangover and inability to see the good in himself. But Audrey is breaking down his walls. She does not need a young sweet guy. She needs a bossy ultra protective caveman like Dylan. Dylan needs her sweetness. They complete each other.

Laurelin Paige pulled all stops in this story. This is a slow burn romance where the relationship is built slowly to a blazing inferno. A teasing sensual dance to bring us to the grand finale when Dylan and Audrey could no longer stay away from each other. Hell I was desperate as a reader to get them together. I wanted to get inside the pages and make something happen. And that is what Laurelin Paige's magic writing does to you. She made my heart go so deep in the story that the boundary between friction and reality gets blurred. The friendship between two odd souls slowly but surely became the all encompassing earth- shattering love. And a special mention for the sex scenes. This story has some of the dirtiest and kinkiest sex scenes you have ever rerad from Laurelin Paige. EVER. I was so turned on that it was embarrassing.

In Sweet Fate, Laurelin Paige has created a colorful collage of every emotion possible. Love. Companionship. Despair. Heartbreak. Hope. Regret. Second chance. Passion.Absolution. Happily Ever After. Everything passed in front of my mind's eyes in full high definition glory. This was a divine reading experience for me.

Gahh I so love this series.

ARC received in exchange for an honest review

Ever since I did I shed reading the first book in this series I’ve been desperate for the second book, this book. I absolutely adored Dylan and Audrey.

Their story started in New York in the first book Sweet Liar and continues in Sweet Fate which is set in London. The amount of passion between them both is insane but the age gap is a huge road block for Dylan to get over, he’s so hung up on the gap he can’t let himself have what he really wants and it’s so sad to see it happening because lord knows this man deserves a happy ending after the things he’s had to deal with. Audrey knows she wants him, she’s knows since she’s met him but she also wants to settle down and have kids and that’s exactly what he doesn’t want.

Watching these two try out a friendship is fun, it’s not a normal friendship, far from it to be honest but I loved every single second of it. It was frustrating and hot and all I ever wanted to do was smack Dylan round the head and tell him to get the damn woman lol.

Laurelin Paige writes incredible books and this series is most definitely my favourite, it’s so good to hear from these two again and I can’t wait to see what other future books this amazing author cracks out for us.

What a tremendously happy ending for Dylan and Audrey. I LOVED that this was all from Dylan’s POV. He was most reluctant when it came to his affection and chemistry with Audrey and seeing him go through all those fears of potential heartbreak was quite endearing.

He was so hung up on their age gap, and used his past hurts as solid reasons for not pursuing more while also coming to terms that Audrey was the one person to bring color back into his life. Her youth and exuberance for living was something he couldn’t ignore. She brightened his day and her strength and bravery for facing fears and life’s hurdles made it that much harder.

I couldn’t be more happy at how things turned out for them. They were the epitome of “opposites attract” and Kismet was the exact word to describe the force behind their meeting. These characters were truly fated to be together and had it not been for Audrey’s tenacity at proving it to Dylan, he would have missed out on the best life that was in store for him.

This was a magnificent conclusion to their story!!!

Oh My Dylan! Sweet Fate was the absolute best wrap up to Dylan and Audrey. After the cliffhanger we got in Sweet Liar, I was so nervous to see where Laurelin would take them. She. Did. Not. Disappoint!! In true Laurelin fashion, she had me falling for yet another Reach man. (Why does Reach not really exist, and why can't I find a company ran by extremely sexy, wealthy alpha men to work for?!?)

I adore Audrey. Her personality and take on life is everything I wish I could be. She loves fiercely and goes for what she wants... and sometimes has to take it however she can have it. Audrey was such a refreshing leading woman. Just her spirit was infectious reading about her.

Dylan has easily slid into a top spot out of the Dirty Universe men. The older, broody, hot older man that swears away love. But Audrey crept in and took down his walls, not without a fight of course. After a scary incident, he finally knew he had to claim her before she slipped away. Hearing him confess what we all knew was fantastic.

This duet won me over from the very first page. The electricity between these characters was brought to life, like only Laurelin can do.

This conclusion of Dylan and Audrey’s story was so good. I love Dylan, he’s sweet in his own way and even though he was reluctant to admit it, he loved her from the beginning. Audrey is such a vibrant person and brought out the best in him. I loved this book!
