Five women of “questionable professions” have been murdered, and that means Acadia Collins—according to her new alias—is heading to Denver. She tries to avoid mixed areas, but corporate also wants to expand into the area.
It seems a dangerous move to make when she has an ancient vampire interested in her and vowing not to let her go. And then there’s the fact ISLE wants her and the stern looking, dedicated agent she met seems unable to let her go either.
Add to that the club’s horrible, the owner’s a pig, the security’s dangerous, the dancers are jealous witches, and Denver PD is trying to force her to do their job, but she’s dealt with and survived worse.
The killer is moving fast, and she’s late to the party, which means there are a lot of balls in the air, and when a few more are thrown at her, it’s only a matter of time until something gets dropped, and hopefully that doesn’t land her with a bullet to the brain.
Untraceable Succubus is a murder mystery series where the sex is hot and often and the main character kicks some serious ass on the road to finding out if she can have real love in her life even if it comes from multiple men.
Erin is a born Chicagoan who decided to state hop a bit, given she works from home. She currently resides in Georgia with her pup, Lord Vader Flynn. With an eclectic and addictive personality, there isn’t much that doesn’t interest her or she won’t pour herself into if it catches her fancy. She has always been interested in the darker aspects of life and mythologies—especially vampires, shifters, the occult, and anything paranormal.
To date, she has published more paranormal books than she can keep up with the characters for, in different genres with dedicated readers who await each release to her numerous series under any of the three Flynn names she writes.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review: Untraceable Succubus Series by Erin R. Flynn
I absolutely loved Jasmine’s story (so far)! This series was such a fun, engaging read - it gave me the same addictive vibes as the Morrigan University series (seriously, read both if you haven’t already).
Between Sera and Jasmine, I’ve got to say, Jasmine wins hands down. She feels like a more well-rounded character, and her guys treat her so much better - plus, she doesn’t take crap from anyone. Total win. I just wish we got to see her badass side a little more often and maybe give the fellas some extra page time. Still, I adore her.
Now, can we talk about Mason, Evan, and Owen? Absolute favorites. Can we please have a series where the FMC actually gets treated right by at least a few of her men? Don’t make them all turn awful later - there are good men out there! These three even adopted a puppy together, and honestly, you can’t break up a happy puppy family, Erin. Mudbug deserves this. These three stay, or I ride at dawn.
Aiden - though… still on the fence. The tracker thing is a major red flag, and everything that went down at the Berlin club and with the Vampire Council just gives me the ick. Can we maybe swap his creepy ancient vampire energy for Tristan? He and Sera are done anyway, and he’s out traveling the world… just saying.
Dylan - I’d love to smack some sense into him (but keep the spicy scenes, those were chef’s kiss). He’s just too pushy. So much Lion-Tiger-Bear energy, oh my! Speaking of Lions… didn’t Phil have that special “reaction moment” with Jasmine? Hint hint, nudge nudge. I like Phil. Team Phil all the way.
Bain - He feels a bit too immature for Jasmine right now. Maybe with time he’ll grow into himself, but at the moment, he reads more like a friend than a romantic match.
And that connection with David? I need more! Maybe not instant baby-making levels, but something deeper - a dream sequence with the elves, perhaps? (That might be a safe way to avoid the instant baby situation, LMFAO.)
Lastly, Elijah - a.k.a. Demon Daddy - deserves a bonus scene. Maybe one where he, uh, “taps the bestie”? Who said that? Marlon Brando?
Bottom line: I need more Jasmine stories ASAP. She’s officially my second-favorite FMC in all of Flynn’s books. Also just saw that book 5 is about to drop for Morrigan university too this week - ahhh so excited!!
I’m seriously getting into this series, which is not unexpected with this author. Erin R Flynn knows how to write good stories.
Acadia is the succubus formerly known as Lola. It’s her new identity, and in this book we find out the name she uses as her main identity, though it still isn’t her real name. This time she’s only back home from her last assignment for three days before being sent out to Denver where 5 women thought to be either strippers or hookers have been killed in the last month.
Once again she is being sent into a real dive of a strip club where the owner treats the dancers like dirt and the security guys follow his lead. She also goes undercover as a hooker and ends up being arrested on her first job. When the police find out that she is a PI undercover they try to force her into helping them, not only with the murderer but also with vice arrests. At this point we learn all about the organisation she works for, and it’s illuminating!
Acadia meets some more interesting characters. Some that are interested in her heart as well as her succubus abilities. She also makes a lot of friends in Denver and it’s nice to see her let her hair down when she’s under so much pressure. We also meet big scary vampire Aidan again and cuddly bear shifter Dylan. They both seem reluctant to let her go
I really enjoyed finding out more about this world and the supernatural organisations that are part of it. There’s actually an awful lot of information included in the book and I found it fascinating reading.
I devoured this book in one sitting, and I’m off to download the next book in the series. I hope there are a few more, but I have a feeling that I’ll be left wanting, because though this author has an impressive output, she dots around the series leaving them open ended in case she wants to come back and add more. I’ll just have to keep going until I run out of series.
I've read several of the author's series. I like most of them and would rate this one #3. The only one I didn't like is the Karma Bakery series. That one is just boring since about 85% is all about the details of opening then expanding a bakery business. The plot is very secondary to that. The one plus is that there is much less of the author's odd syntax. In this series as in her other series I've read it is often necessary to reread sentences one or more times to understand them which is annoying. Also I find I can't understand sometimes how the plot got somewhere as if the author forgot to put something in. Having said all that I would recommend all of the series I've read with the one exception.
It's a good book and I like the fact that the main character is an independent, smart and sexy woman that makes zero excuses for who she is. Similar plot as the first book because it covers her job. I like the characters but I feel like it's missing the romance and steam I expect out of this genre. Seeing as there are four guys, I would have expected frequent bouts of sex and a whole lot of romantic gestures. It was just lackluster. I am hoping book three has more of those things in it as I am headed there now!
I just love the MFC she is strong powerful sexy and owns her every need and desire, while juggling cover stories, handling the many criminals that cross her path and giving a helping hand to the people working hard and trying to survive in an unfair world where greed and violence too often wins out. She is slowly starting to trust and build a relationship with her males and discovering the perks of connecting beyond just the physical.
Ok, I’m officially hooked. The first book I was skeptical, but this one now, I feel like I have to go stalk the author and beg for more in the series.
The mystery and action is solid. It’s a fast pace, I don’t want to sleep til it’s finished kinda read. And now that we are learning even more about our main characters- who are all really complex and different, I’m all in on this series!
Awesome. She’s now known as Acadia Collins and finds more men that she has to deal with. It’s really cool that we get to know her better from the start of book 1. We also get to go on a ride of how she has to wrap her head around “boyfriends.” We now know her actual name, but it really only comes out to play when it’s needed. I just wonder how she’s able to keep all her glamours and names straight. Things I think about from reading this awesome series.
I much loved this second book. I feel like there is a lot of growth and trust building. I love the family she has and the friends she begins to make. I love love love the elf twins. They are the best. Fun and flirty with some mystery. Things heat up with the fellows and commitment may be on the horizon.
I think I might like this FMC over all the other FMC’s Flynn has gifted us with, and that is saying something. Not only is she strong and determined, she plays the game with a deftness that leaves me snickering and cheering. Owning her own self, her sexuality, needs, history and future - she’s there whole package, and leaves those wanting her wondering what to do.
There is so much going on. The guys have more to learn we saw that in the previous book. However I think she needs to learn that everyone is not perfect and previous hurts should not be put on someone else. I like Acadia and think she is independent and strong. She is so far a good MC throughout this series. I can’t wait for the next book to read.
Well this is awesome, Jasmine is certainly leading an entertaining life. She just keeps finding bad guys in ways most people wouldn’t think of. The good guys can be idiots but there is always hope that they can learn from their mistakes well at least I hope they can as I want to learn more about all of them.
Erin R Flynn has written another fun and exciting series. I love the Lola/Acadia character and her boyfriends. I love the way Erin writes her characters with attitude, kindness and fun. I look forward to reading more of these characters. Thank you Erin, you are a wonderful writer!
This is one of those books that makes me laugh at the twists and just how stupid people really can be even as I can see vampires making bad life choices or anything else that happened. The killer isn't who you expect and I was honestly super surprised about it. So this book is amazing and I will definitely be reading it again
I love this series! There’s less spice and more plot than I expected when I started the series, but both are wonderfully written. I’m curious about the long term story arc. The books don’t end in cliffhangers. They do end with some unanswered questions. I’m diving directly into book 3.
The devil is in the details, and boy does she go into great detail. There are some real shockers as well that will blindside you. Character development on the heroine is also very captivating. Hard to put down and get anything productive done.....just a warning.
Must read. Main character is my hero. I LOVE this story line and world Erin R Flynn created. Thank you for bringing some light in my life when I need to get out of my crazy world. Now I have a new world to explore because of you!!!
OMG I LOVE THIS SERIES. Okay I really wish there would be more but I have no idea if she is still writing this series. And it sucks because her website doesn't show this as a series she even has.
Great storyline and the writer never disappoints with character development.. Fun and flirty with yummy guys. Similar to her other writings but I liked those as well so..... Rnjoy!
I love the stories in this series. There is a lot to fit in with the detecting, her job and the developing romances. Sometimes it seems a bit rushed, but still very entertaining.
This series is addictive. I hope that all will work out for 'Jasmine' I like the way that the novel flows. Each chapter leads into the next bringing the whole book together.
The second book in the Untraceable Succubus series by Erin R Flynn was fantastic. Flynn’s imagination keeps me intrigued and hooked on her books. I’m starting the third book in the series immediately.
i didn’t like this one as much as the first one… but it’s still a fun read. would i recommend? not likely. would i talk about it fondly if someone asked me what i was reading? yes.
Continued setting the pace. Good character progression. Writer did not try to do too much in one book, knowing this is gonna be a series. Able to read it on its own pretty much without too much from the previous book. All in all good second book.
Wow I didn't think I could enjoy this book any more than I did the first one, but I did, thoroughly, I am falling in love with the main mc and fast falling in love with the male too.
