There's only so much dude bro culture and shitty writing that a person can take before they call it quits. I think I lasted until about the 20% mark - the guys were discussing reasons for breaking up with their high school girlfriends and it was a whole lotta 'nope'.

When will authors - both male AND female - realize that female readers (and I'd venture to say many male readers) don't appreciate misogyny in their books?!

Made it 2 pages in and the characters both say why they broke up with their high school gf.

One reason: “she didn’t even give blow jobs”

The others reason: “she was too much of a prude”

I don’t know what I was looking for when I started reading this novel but safe to say I was NOT surprised. The only part that I liked was how the author made the bros genuinely interested in each other’s male anatomy but it all went downhill when they suddenly started fucking? Like what in the fuck? I would have rated this higher if the author had stayed a little real in his writing and written just about a blowjob experience but with the kind of detail and intrigue that first timers deserve. But alas, another one lost to cater to the mainstream of tropes. Well, you better not think twice about not reading this. You won’t miss out on anything.
