I’d never had a reaction like this to a woman, let alone from a damn picture at a time like this.
It was incredible feeling how his world shifted and Hadley became the very center of it, without even meeting her. All his possessive and protective instincts took over.
Hadley was living a normal college student live, until one day she was kidnapped by her father's enemies. After being held captive for two weeks, she was starting to lose hope that rescue is coming. But it came, in the delicious shape of her very own white knight, Brecken.
Hadley's immediate attraction to him was just as strong as his to her, even considering the awful circumstances of their encounter, and with one look, one touch, Brecken confirmed his feelings that she was the one for him.
I wanted to be her rock. The person she turned to for comfort. The one who made her feel safe. And the man who kept her out of harm’s way.
Even with the pressure and difficult of the escape they can't resist the incredible chemistry between them, and they end up giving in to their impulses, in some HOT, steamy, sex scenes. Boy oh boy, did they burn those sheets (ok, waterfall's cave floor, LOL), and Brecken's dirty talk was the perfect touch...
I loved Hadley's inner strength and willpower, even given her innocence, she never hesitated and always took what she wanted. And gave Brecken, just as much.
It was true, I’d surrendered more than my virginity to him under this water. Somehow, I’d managed to give him my heart too.
Brecken was an incredible hero, and the biggest reason for my love of this book. He had absolutely all the qualities I want in my romance's H, the perfect balance of sweet and sexy/alpha, loving and caveman, loyal and possessive, and 100% devoted to her, from the very beginning, the moment he saw her picture.
Hadley was my salvation, the prize I earned for the shit I had to do in the Army. And nobody was going to take her away from me.
I adore Rochelle Paige's books, her writing style and fantastic loyal characters (and their captivating stories), make her one of my go-to writer when I want a fast-paced steamy read, that I know will push all the right buttons. But this one is without a doubt my favorite so far, because it has the perfect balance of all the elements I look for in my literary escapes, and I can't wait for more!!!
If you are looking for a short steamy read packed with adventure, danger and off the charts chemistry and sexy times, topped of with an OTT alpha hero, this book will fit it to a T and leave you wanting for more!

It's short and hot and a pleasant read for sure!
I really had a great time reading this sweet little hot one. Hadley and Brecken’s love story is quick, fast, and the best kind of dirty, and I enjoyed all of it. 3.5 stars!

It’s no secret that I adore Rochelle Paige and so when I found out that she was releasing another book, I couldn’t wait to read Save Your Soul. In this hot quick read, Rochelle takes readers into the jungle. Yes, I said into the jungle where inhibitions, passion and danger collide in one sensual and provocative romance.
Since this story is short, I won’t go into much detail since the synopsis pretty much give readers an insight on what to expect. But what I can tell you is that if you are looking for a quick romance that will leave a smile on your face then this book is definitely for you. I know there are readers who aren’t fans of the insta-love but for this particular story, it works for Brecken Kane and Hadley Gresham. This was super sweet insta-love, and sexy as hell. I do wish it would have had a better epilogue though...
Side Note: I always find it amusing in romance books when people choose to have sex at the oddest of times. If I had been kidnapped, beat up, starved, hadn't showered for two weeks, sex under a waterfall whilst I was running for my life would be like the LAST thing on my "TO DO" list! *lol*

After reading the blurb for Save Your Soul I figured it'd be right up my alley. Anybody who knows me knows how much I love this trope and this just screamed READ ME!
With an OTT possessive hero rescuing a damsel in distress in the middle of the jungle what could possibly go wrong?! Unfortunately it wasn't quite the suspenseful read I was hoping it was going to be. Don't get me wrong, it was smoking hot with a to die for hero and a heroine that wasn't TSTL but I was hoping for a little more danger, I suppose.
It did have a great case of insta-love which made my heart happy and there were definitely some cute moments that left me with a smile on my face. Overall, it was a quick, enjoyable read and I'm definitely looking forward to more of this series.

These types of books are my favorite...insta-love and OTT possessive heroes. I wish it was longer and we had a little more in the epilogue of the future.

December 11, 2022DNF @ 34% - 👀 look. I know when I open a novella I’m gonna have to leave most of my overly-analytical brain at the door. I know going in it’s gonna have varying degrees of instalove, OTT situation, and cheese. I get it.
This was just too much for me. Miss Thang is kidnapped by terrorists in a foreign country, and well, TERRORIZED. No worries though, they may have roughed her up amd starved her and chained her to a bed in a dark cell, but they left her virtue intact for the hero. 👀🫠 Sure thing. Anyway…. The H has fallen for her and is ready to make her his as soon as he’s tasked with rescuing her and is shown her picture. He knows absolutely nothing about her. For all he knows she’s a lesbian or bites her toe nails …. But she cute, so it’s whatever… anyway he easily breaks into to her prison and on seeing him in her cell… she’s not scared… she’s TURNED ON. For real tho. She’s been there for weeks, is filthy, has been brutalized, and must be scared out of her mind and all she can think about is how hawt he is 🥴🙄… and DURING THE RESCUE… under the cover of night and threat of death, this ding-dong takes time to notice “the desire in his eyes” as he frees her from her shackles. 😐 No really. Is this supposed to be a joke?? I think it is. It’s got to be satire. Right? Anyhoo… they get away rather easily and trudge through dangerous terrain and finally get to a place where she can clean up…. And don’t you know little miss terrorized virgin comes out of the water buck naked and begs the man she’s known for a handful of hours to f*ck her. And our highly trained soldier? What does he do? I mean, bad people with guns are after them… he’s not that stupid right??? WRONG. He’s like… sure babe. I’ll take a looksee around to make sure the terrorists aren’t about to kill us, the I’ll d*ck you down. No problem.

Super insta love at it's best. Rochelle Paige knows how to write possessive heroes and this series is great for the quick read before bed or between chores.

Brecken Kane was introduced in the first book as Morgan’s best friend. The two had worked together prior, and Morgan Caldwell had helped Brecken start his security business. Finding and saving people was what Brecken had always done best. However, it was instant love when he was propositioned to find Hadley Gresham.
Kidnapped from her dorm, Hadley was held hostage in the jungle for two weeks. With no hopes of ever being found, in comes her knight in all black armor (to hide in the jungle), Brecken. Hadley fears that the connection she feels with him is due to him being her rescuer, but she later finds out that that connection and attraction goes much much deeper.
I love everything Rochelle Paige has ever written. This book was no exception. The insta-connection and insta-love was definitely swoon worthy. Even though this wasn’t a super long read, we were able to really get into the characters’ minds and hearts and felt every pain and swoon worthy moment. This book was H O T and I didn’t put it down once I picked it up. This series is an amazing one that I am sucked into and can’t wait for the next one!

Save Your Soul is the follow up book to Bare Your Soul. Both are standalones but have intertwining characters. Save Your Soul is so far definitely my favorite in this series of sexy and fast reads. Rochelle Paige is a quickly becoming master at delivering a quick and steamy story that you cannot put down.
Breckan Kane is on a mission to save kidnapped Hadley. Hired by his father he is determined to get her out of there safely but once he sees a photo of the beautiful and innocent Hadley he is also determined that she will be his.

When I go into stories like these I go in with different expectations than full length dramatic books. I have to say this was a cute, quick, low angst, and insta love.
The heroine Hadley was kidnapped and rescued by the hero Brecken. They have insta lust that turns to insta love and finishes with a nice HEA.

2nd book in series with OTT alpha male. This time it is Morgan's best friend, Brecken Kane, who heads a security firm hired to rescue Hadley Gresham from kidnappers who took her from her college dorm.
I loved how Brecken fell in love with Hadley from her picture and knew she was The One from that.
Rochelle Paige is becoming a must read for me. I can't wait to devour more of her books!

This is Brecken and Hadley's story. Hadley has been kidnapped and Brecken comes in to save the day. Filled with an OTT alpha, having virgin sex in the wild jungles of Nicaragua, leads to marriage and a baby on the way. Cute and short read. I liked it. 3 stars*****

Save Your Soul was a quick read in which I finished in about an hour or so. I liked the premise of this story. I thought that the Nicaragua jungle was a nice change of scenery from book one, Bare Your Soul.
I found the plot to be interesting and I liked that there was a nice mixture of danger, intrigue and sexiness. Save Your Soul was very fast paced and the characters were likeable. There was quite a good amount of chemistry between Brecken and Hadley. If you are in need of your daily dose of OTT, possessive and overprotective alpha male look no further because Rochelle Paige has got you covered with Brecken Kane. I really liked him. All it took was one photo of Hadley and he was done. I also admired how caring he was of Hadley and her needs, his protectiveness and possessiveness.

Everything reached a satisfying conclusion and I enjoyed this story as a whole. Readers looking for their next literary escape I recommend picking up this novella. Save Your Soul is another insta-love, over the top, panty wetting book that has a super hot hero and the perfect heroine to bring him to his knees. I am loving how Ms. Paige is giving us action filled, steamy, novellas that if it had been twice as long I would have loved it even more. I was able to read it quickly over the weekend and it was just what I needed at that moment.
