I was so happy at the beginning of this book. The hero was great, the heroine was spunky and fun. I was thrilled because I felt like I was well on my way to a 5 star read. Then, one sentence set the pace for the rest of the book.
I’ve fucked in bathroom stalls, the dark corner of a club, more than a few locker rooms that reeked of sweaty balls, and plenty of backseats
It took this fabulous hero and made it that I almost DNF. I felt that he was reflective to the women he had before the heroine way too much. Comparing. I was shocked because it didn't feel like the start of the book did.
-no cheating
-no om drama
-OW drama- some puck bunnies hit on him but he did not reciprocate and brushed them off.
-no violence of any nature
-instalust
-safety- safe, neither are with others after meeting. The reference to the past hookup and locations etc.was a total turn off
-rushed epilogue that was just a mere glimpse

A sugary sweet insta-love romance!! I enjoyed this quick read & the chemistry between Brewer & Gracelyn was so perfectly written! I just wanted more of them.

This was a cute short story. Gracie is a school teacher who attends a hockey game while visiting her best friend. Brewer is the gorgeous captain of the hockey team and such a great guy. There’s an intense chemistry between these two characters the minute they look at each other.

This was so disappointing. I've read S.E. Hall's Evolve series and loved it. This book, however, did not have the same effect.
It wasn't as well-written. It didn't have that good flow. Conversations felt fake and forced. It didn't give me the butterflies in my stomach. I gave it two stars only because it started strong. It got me hooked. But halfway through, the story just felt rushed.
Wish it was developed a little better. It had potential but then it just fell flat.

This is the first book I have read by this author and it won’t be the last. Her possessive alpha male characters and sweet but feisty heroines.
Gracie is a school teacher who after her cat dies she can finally go visit her best friend Nikki, having never been to a hockey game she dragged along and falls in instant love with the captain of the team Brewer especially when he winks at her and shows her his left hand in a comical game of charades. But he is just a player being a star hockey player or so she thinks. Will she give Brewer a chance to show her who he really is?
Brewer is not hard up when it comes to women being the star player of the hockey team but when he spots Gracie something inside him clicks he knows that there is something different and special about her and he wants to get to know her. Although she disappears he is determined to find her and claim her as his only when he does finally find her can he convince her to stay and give their love a chance or will his reputation and where he lives drive her away.
This a an amusing sports romance and the banter with all the characters including the secondary ones will have you in stitches. A recommended read to cheer you up anytime.

I enjoyed this smoking hot, sports romance, S.E. Hall packed an impressive amount of story into this short novella sized book, I would love to see her expand on it to make it longer. The story is well written with interesting storylines that are captivating from start to end. This is a fast paced quick moving romance, an instant attraction turned instant love. Brewer Hayes, hockey is all about the game, never losing focus while on the ice and in the zone, that is until he sees her. Gracelyn “Grace” Bolton was finally able to get to away to see her friend Nikki who has been trying to get her to come up and go with her to a hockey game. Her first hockey game and she can see what Nikki’s fascination was with the game, the hunky players, then she sees him, they lock eyes and see so much. Brewer loses her in the crowd but does not give up on finding her again. I liked how it all played out, the story is nicely plotted and there is never a dull moment. This is a great book to spend the afternoon with, it is an entertaining, enjoyable, smoking hot romance. Thank you S.E. Hall for the great story!

The insta-attraction “meet-cute” for Gracelyn and Brewer is sweet, cute, comical, and the kind you want to have to share with friends, family, and children. It is epic!
I loved the instant attraction, the chase, and the intense attention that Brewer gives his Gracelyn. From the minute he spies her, in a crowd that has become so normal in his life, he knows she is different. She is his “one” – the one to reduce all previous relationships and hookups to dust in the wind. Capturing her attention was easy. Everything after that had me glued to the pages – alternating between holding my breath and laughing.

SE Hall has been one of my all time favorite authors since I picked up Emerge and fell head over heals in love with her sexy Alpha's. Full Body Check is yet another reason why she will always be an automatic one-click author for me. It is full of the witty banter I always expect from Hall and the heat that keeps me coming back for more every time.

I needed this story to be longer. It was fantastic (like anything this author writes) and it made me sad that it wasn't a fully fleshed out story with all the words, humor, angst, and steam that she gives.
That being said, the characters and storyline were perfect. I loved the dialogue and banter.

Absolutely adorable!
This book will grab you instantly. It will make you fall instantly. You will be a pile of happy too on the floor by the time you finish. The only part that will make you far-reaching is when you realize you've reached the end.

Brewer And Gracelyn
Both Gracelyn and Brewer zeroed in on each other at a hockey game. He was playing , mind you.. This was a story about a man who knew what he wanted and went after it. Just one little problem, Gracelyn didn't really believe him. I wonder if there are men in this world that really exist like Brewer? Probably not. Why this is a book, an awesome story too!

Short But Sweet
I'm not usually a fan of short stories because they're over before they really begin but I enjoyed this one. There's a bit of substance in this story and of course the wit and humor and you can FEEL the pull between these two. Brewer and Gracie light up the pages of this story'

Love the way he loves her
Quick read that's full of love, laughter, and oh, so sexy hotness! As a fan of hockey, I can unequivocally say that these guys are often super hot, super cut, and super sexy! Great job capturing that SE. Love at first sight, swoon!!!!

More than 5 stars
This book deserves more than 5 stars. It sucked me in from the beginning and had me drooling in no time. But the biggest thing I loved the most is how “normal” Brewer and Gracie were and how well their personalities went together. Loved it!!!

Sexy story but definitely a case of inst-love. I’ve read a lot of SE Hall’s work and this just doesn’t feel as well-written or developed as some of the others. Not a bad read, but for me it wasn’t a book I’d stay up too late reading for.

This will be a short review just to say that this was a quick sexy story that I really enjoyed reading. It was fun and the characters were likeable and I was definitely drawn into their story. I would love to read more from them. I love S.E. Hall's work and I am excited to read more from her.

I enjoyed this book and it was good to read about how professional athletes have a hard time finding someone that cares for them and not what they can get money wise from them. Brewer and Gracie had and were meant meet at that time in their lives. I loved Brewer!

Quick steamy read! I absolutely loved the chemistry between Gracelyn and Brewer, it was off the charts. I was rooting for them the whole time and I hope we get to see more of them in the future!!!

Full Body Check by SE Hall is a fun fast and steamy read. I enjoyed it. Although there are a few editing issues. I still liked the fast paced storyline and characters
